Multi-Timer for Amazfit Pace - Amazfit

I just got the Pace today and I am trying to install a Multi-Timer app similar to what I had on pebble.
I found and App called "simple wear timer" but I can't get it running on the watch.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.proyectoipsum.simpleweartimer&hl=en
I have extracted the watch apk from the main apk and used "APK Editor PRO" to change the minSDK version to 7 and remove the hardware type line.
The app installs ok via "APK Installer 3.5" and appears in the app list on the watch, but when I run it I get a "Simple wear timer has stopped" error.
Did I miss a step somewhere? Does this just mean that the app is incompatible? Is there a compatible app that does the same function?
Any help would be great

Maps Issues?

Half the time I say "OK Google navigate home" instead of actually doing that, it will just open a card for the Maps app. Anyone else getting this?
Make sure you actually have the Maps app installed on your watch and that is has any permissions needed. To do this swipe over to the app list on your watch and scroll down to try and find the Maps app. If it says "needs permissions" touch it. If it's not there, you may need to one or more of these steps:
1. Uninstall Maps on your phone and reinstall it, wait for it to download to your watch
2. Resync your apps to your watch via the Android Wear app on your phone.
3. Factory reset your watch.
Edit: also, before you try those steps, you may try going into the Actions section of the Android Wear phone app and see if you can set Maps as the Navigate action.

Yes, I have the same problem
Ok, I've found the problem. The solution:
1. Find Maps app on the watch
2. Click it and agree to sync it (it was not synced in my case).
3. After that voice control started to work.

Quik Apk

In my Play Store app, it says that the Quik app needs to be updated, but I could not find this app in the drawer, where is this app coming from?
I think it is the photo editor app.
I even do not know it is in my phone until I got the update notice since I cannot find it in the app drawer. How can I launch it? Is this the gallery app uses for editing?
This App can be found under the system processes where you can seel all the system Apps. It's safe to just deactivate or delete the App.
By all accounts it was a forceful update in error according to Huawei. They claimed the Quik app was pushed out in error and via their servers and was ment for a select number of devices. Honor 8 was not supposed to receive such update or file. The Quik app ment to show up within the photo gallery menu..
It's safe to Uninstall

I lunched it from play store to see what it is, then I deleted it. It's a Go pro app to edited video.
It is included in every version since B389, more or less.
Quik is kinda video editing tool and come by default on L04 US variant of Honor 8

Original Huawei E-Mail APK

Unfortunately I have uninstalled the preinstalled Huawei E-Mail app from my Huawei MediaTab M5. I could make a factory reset to get the app but I don't want to do that because I have spent lots of hours to setup the tablet.
Can anyone post the apk-file for me? That would be great!
Is there a way to get it without root mate because I haven't rooted yet
Sent from my ASUS_Z012DA using Tapatalk
I have no root, too. It's no problem to save any apk-file. You can install Super Manager from Play Store to do that. In Super Manager you must switch to page 2 "APK Manager", there you tap on "APK Manager". Now you can scroll down and look for the E-Mail app or you tap on the three dots on the top right and the on app search. With the search string mail you will find the app. Now tap on the app and tap on bAPK, then on original name and the file is now in the folder Super Manager -> MyAPKs
This is probably what you're looking for.
Thank you very much!

Amazfit app on Android 9

Hi! I just received my new GTR watch but I cannot install the Amazfit App on it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager&hl=en <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager&hl=en>
What I see on Google Play says that the app is not compatible with my device. I have a Xiaomi Mi A1 running Android 9.
I installed the APK file manually on my phone and I get the following error message when opening the app 'Amazfit keeps stopping'.
Any idea how to fix it? Thanks!
Try to install latest update to your watch. To do this, make a complete reset to your watch trough menu options. Then, follow directions on screen.
Later on, connect the watch using Bluetooth to your phone...
Please tell us how it went.

Thanks! The problem is that the watch shows the QR code with the text 'Download the APP binding watch' and I cannot update it, even if I do a factory reset.

Waooo... First notice for me. When I bought the watch, first instalation didn't need to use QR code; actually it has an alternative way without using any code...
Curiosly, when I open Playstore right now and look for the amazfit app, it says that “this app is no longer compatible for your device"....
I'm my case, since I'm using it without problems since first time I installed it going to investigate a little bit more to find out this issue happened... It seems a matter of software...

The problem I think is that the app is not compatible with Android 9. Even if I install it manually with the .apk downloaded from the Play Store the app crashes when I launch it on my phone. Is there a way to use the watch without pairing with the phone? It looks like that's required...

I have a Huwaei Mate 9 with Emui 9 (Android 9.1) I bought the Amazfit a month ago while I was on Android 9.0....it was just before the new Huwaei update. So, it doesn't have to do with Android 9...did you restore the device completely? If so, I think you have to contact amazfit support.

The app is down for everyone. Amazfit screwed it up, complain at Amazfit support [email protected].
To activate your watch, go to freemyband.com and install the modified Amazfit apk. Open it, register on a anonymous email acount, activate watch and let it update and syn. Then install from Playstore Notify and Fitness for Amazfit. You now can couple the watch with the obtained authentification key. Use Notify and Fitness and forget about Amazfit app. If you really need it, use the Mifit app instead.
No need to worry, download the Amazfit apk yourself and install it. The app will work.

WOW, this works, Thanks! What do you suggest to do, should I stay with this app until Amazfit doesn't update the app on Google Play?
I use a Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Android 9 with my Amazfit app

It will show up automatically in the Play store when Amazfit fixed the issue.

Android Auto stopped working and now can't even install from APK

Hi guys
I had AA working perfectly on my p30 pro (android 10) and suddenly my car does not react to the phone. The weird stuff styarted to happen when I tried differect AA versions I had downloaded from APK mirror. initially the app installed but did not appear in the apps drawer, and under the settings->apps, I only had the option to disable\force stop options (no open and no uninstall). In order to uninstall the AA i had to use ADB, and now I cant even install AA and get the "app not install" error. Anyone knows how and what should I clean\reset in order to install the app again? I dont know even where to begin.. weirdest problem ive ever seen.
thanks!

As far as I know Android auto app doesn't appear in app drawer. Look up settings and search for Android auto. It's some kind of integrated within the system.
