I use MIUI v4 on my Sony Experia Arc S and it is great but now i have a question. Is it possible to show the last WhatsApp messages on the lockscreen like a SMS? I don't want to use the PopUp windows from Whatsapp.
I read about the object ContentProvier and it have to provide the data for other apps. So if the app stores the data in this object other apps can get the information from WhatsApp. Can anyone edit WhatsApp for this feature or do you have to edit the lockscreen app from MIUI too?
Would be very nice if someone can give me some information about this topic.

well, actually, u can enable pop up in Whatsapp setting. under "pop up notification", click "always show pop up". It will show your messages even in lock screen.

Thanks, I found using titanium backup and deleting the what's new application just removes it as well which is pretty cool ?

On an unrelated note (or related to the navbar), can anyone tell me if it is possible to have a transparent navbar on stock UI with no root/unlocked bootloader? I tried using Nova and google launcher but both seem to have a blacked out navbar but transparent notification bar.

has anyone managed to change the lockscreen wallpaper with the help of GravityBox (the xposed module), because I simply can't. I can change the lockscreen through the settings (Personalization) but no matter what I choose in GravityBox it doesn't change a thing.
Any ideas?
Gravity box is for AOSP not OEM roms, it wont work or will work for things that arent alike AOSP

Huh, somebody here said that there is no longer any need for AOSP since most of the tweaks can be achieved with gravitybox. Since there is no daily driver yet I thought as give it a shot. Thanks for the Info.

I worded that weirdly
It gravity box does work but non aosp things dont work like the lockscreen features (some work) but this is because the lockscreen is external from the framework(for example)

Hi all, just a quick one.
I was wondering if there is exposed app for adding message scheduling to the standard app.
I've installed custom roms in the past and it has been a feature. I don't want to flash a room for 1 thing lol.
Also I've looked at the stores apps and they don't add functionality to your default message app but through a different app all together.
I how in not waffling lol and hopefully this makes sense.

Got a new cover for my S6, notification-LED is not visible now.
Is it possible (by installing an app or flashing a .zip) to make the Edge screen light-up for ALL notifications of ANY contact?
I even want it to light up when receiving new messages in whatsapp-groupchats.
