Hi, I've got this problem. I had an Amazfit Bip paired with my phone (OP5t) and MiFit. Now I lost it, and I bought an Amazfit Arc (if you don't know it, it's more or less a MiBand2).
But I can't pair it with MiFit. And why? Because MiFit says that I must first unpair the Bip, but when I try it, it says that first it needs to connect to the Bip...that I have no more...
I tried to clean the memory of the app, remove the Bip from the paired devices, uninstall and install again MiFit but the problem is still there.
I searched the internet but found nothing.
Thank you.

Hi,all
today I'm received a Amazfit stratos ( International version A1619 ) but I can't pair it with Amazfit watch app.
After I'm scan the QR code and click OK on watch for pair it with amazfit watch app. It's show error "Pair failed"
- Amazfit watch app lastest version on Play store (2.3.1-play)
- Already full charge battery.
- Try to reboot stratos / reboot smart phone ( not work same error not pair)
- Try switch login by facebook, gmail or create amazfit account and login but same result.
- Try turn off/on bluetooth of my smartphone
who have another solutions for this issue. :crying:
Thank you.
You forgot an important info: phone model and Android version? It won't pair if the firmware isn't up-to-dat, you will have to first pair with another phone using Android 7.1 or order, update firmware, unpair and then pair with your phone.
Hi!
I needed a couple of retry before it pairs.
I guess you already tried but some may be interested.
It looks like the pairing process is not an example of hi reliability....

The Stratos pairs fine with 8.0+ from factory, only the Pace doesn't
I see... So maybe the problem is the Bluetooth/WiFi interference. He can try to put phone in airplane mode and enable only Bluetooth. Make sure the watch isn't listed in the Bluetooth settings of phone, the pairing process should be done using the Amazfit app only.
Update:
delete all application smartwatch & smartband all brand in my phone
and all tool for configure smartband ( I'm ever use amazfit bip and another brand to custom it.)
I think It's has some conflict in bluetooth signal.
Now, I can pair my stratos and see my first watch face Yeh. :victory:
Thank all.
Hi buddies.
Yesterday I see my Verge not sync completely with the Amazfit App (Android). The app say that some data not is possible to sync. In the same day, a OTA update is appear in the app, and in a few hours later I update the watch but the problem persist. Today I try to unpair the watch from the app but then not is possible to pair again, when the watch appear the Bluetooth code and press OK, the watch restart again in the QR code. I try to login in the Amazfit app with another account and nothing.
Anybody with the same problem?? The watch not be able to use in this state.
I have managed to pair it, but the problem of incomplete synchronization with the app persists...
Trying to avoid to loose my phone, with Amazfit App 3.6.2 is there any "simple" way to have have a connection lost alert/notification when phone is away?
Before with my Amazfit Bip and Mi Fitt App i have that option there on the App, now with GTR and Amazfit App i don't find that option.
Anyone know how to set it ?
I also use Amazfit Tools App but even there i can't find that option.
Regards
And T-REX does not have such an option.
Very uncomfortable
Hmmm, i don't recall seeing it in the Amazfit app.
But i do know that Notify&fitness does have that option and it does work.
I have used it, but stopped using it, it took to much of the battery as i regularly are at the edge of the connection between phone and watch and it keeps vibrating
I've been using an Amazfit Bip together with the Mi Fit app for a long time without any problems. The Bip hardly ever lost connection to the phone. Then I bought an Amazfit Bip S and as the Mi Fit app does not support it, I had to use the Amazfit app. I recognized that the Bip S permanently lost bluetooth connection to the phone, no matter what settings I changed. So I thought it would be a problem of the Bip S and bought a normal Bip again. But same problem... if the phone does not lie directly on the table, most of the time Bip has no bluetooth connection. Even if the phone is in its case on my belt, the Bip loses connection.
So it must have something to do with the Amazfit app, I guess. Somewhere I read that if you uninstall and reinstall it, Bluetooth connection problems may be gone. But if I uninstall the app, I lose all data, so before I do that I try to investigate what could be the problem.
The phone is a Blackview BV9700 Pro. I already cleared all data and cache of the Bluetooth app. I restarted the phone. I turned Bluetooth off and on again. I turned the option for a permanent notification in the Amazfit app on and off, makes no difference.
Can anyone confirm that the Amazfit app has a bad Bluetooth connection compared to the Mi Fit app? Could the problem be caused because both apps were installed at the same time at the beginning? I had Mi Fit installed, installed Amazfit and because the Bip was recognized by both apps I uninstalled Mi Fit and kept only Amazfit.

Hello,
Few things:
- I would recommend you to use only one App, AmazFit or MiFit at a time. I guess AMazFit is preferable depending on the watch you have. Unpair from one app and uninstall the app you don't want to use
- if you uninstall and reinstall the Amazfit or MiFit app with same credentials, Mi account or with mail/phone number, you should recover your data saved and you won't loose all your history. Maybe the one from the current day, I think. I jumped from MiFit to Amzfit with same account with no problem, recovering data for many years
- concerning the bluetooth, not sure what OS your are using, iOS or Android. You could check in the Amazfit or Mi Fit app properties if the OS is not using "battery saver" functions. Sometimes, by default, the battery saving is in "restricted mode" which can affect connections like wifi/bluetooth to save power. Try to see if you have this battery saving function ON and set to "no restrictions" - at least this is what I do on my Android phone.

Hm, now as you said it... the Amazfit app also loaded the data from the Mi account.

The phone uses Android 9. The Amazfit app is not restricted by any battery saving modes as I put it on "Not optimized" just like the Mi Fit app before.
I' ve just recently bought redmi note 9 pro. My amazfit watch is t-rex. Since then every time I turn on my redmi , I have to enable gps, in order to connect the t-rex with zepp app, otherwise it doesn't connect. The message that appears is in the screenshot
Same with Amazfit Bip
Had same issue with my Amazfit Bip initially when the app was released. After about a dozen connects it now allows me to sync with bluetooth only however the initial sync only loads steps counts, I have to close app fully and reload to get it to sync any sleep data.
Weird!
I simply uninstalled the app. It has become pretty useless.

True. For me, it was nothing lost, because nothing I did (other than uninstalling it and then installing it again - every time) would make it connect. It was working perfectly fine before it became zepp.
