Purple spot on screen

Hi guys, I just found a purple spot on my screen. Just a little smudge, barely visible (not at all in normal use) but it can be seen when the screen turns white. Is this a HW problem ? And can it be connected with dropping the phone before a week ? I assume that it would have appeared adter the drop, but it appeared today, I'm 100% sure that it wasn't there yesterday when I was reading + the spot is in lower right corner and the only little sign of the drop (nothing is damaged, just the corner of the phone) is on the upper left corner, where it hit the ground. I've never had any problems with my phone, for over a year now. Runnig CM10+Siyah.
thanks

A pic would help too... Did you try connecting it to an external display, Most likely a screen burn because the amoled screen is very hard to break you only break the glass in front of it usually. Maybe screen wear how long has it been since you bought your phone?

hi, thanks for an answer. this is the photo, like I said, it's barely visible on it.. but I also think that it hasn't anything to do with the drop. it is a year now, with heavy (really heavy) usage.
edit: the scratches are just screen protector and it is not problem with it, I tried to remove it.

[Q] screen problem...but which part needs replacing?

I have a screen problem, and because of the cost would prefer to perform the repair myself. (I've repaired a number of laptops and smartphones in the past.) My problem is that I don't know which part failed.
The accident: I dropped my Galaxy S3 from a height of about 3 feet onto concrete. For reasons too embarrassing to detail, I didn't have the protective case on the phone.
The result: The front bezel around the screen has a 5mm abrasion scratch in it, but the screen itself shows no sign of damage at all. When I put the battery back in, and powered up the phone, the screen did not come on. I see a faint line of green pixels about 3cm long on one spot on the screen. There is nothing else on the display. The phone seems to be powering up and down (not entirely certain because I had the phone on silent mode before I dropped it).
I'm hoping that one of you with more experience might have an opinion on any fixes I might attempt, or tests I might run to determine what needs to be replaced.
Thank you very much for your suggestions!

Strange backlight issue

I am noticing a strange uneven backlight issue: slightly darker halos radiating from the lower screen edge (landscape orientation) are noticeable when resuming the tablet from stand-by, especially on lower brightness settings. They are separated by a ~ 2.5 cm distance and have approx. 1.5 cm diameter. Whenever I change the brightess settings the issue goes away but as soon as the tablet goes stand-by and is resumed the issue comes back. Has anybody noticed something similar?
Yes, I have a similar phenomenon. In the beginning it was not there, but since a few months.
Additionally there are "clouds" of orange-y discoloration near the lower screen edge which are visible when the screen shows a white-ish area.
Not nice, and I hope it won't become worse, but in normal usage it doesn't matter...

Galaxy Win Duos Damaged Screen

Hey guys I have recently noticed there is a small dark spot on my device's screen, I don't know why and how did it happen besides the battery is swollen, that's not recent though, but yesterday I realised the battery was more swollen than before and I could see weird colors on the screen, so I took off the rear case of the phone so it wouldn't screw up the screen, everything was OK after I took off the case - no more weird colors, but then so, the next day I turned on my phone and I saw a dark spot on right upper corner of the screen, kinda next to the phone's battery slot, it's not really a big spot though but it bothers me, so now I'm wondering if the battery leaked and the fluids of it went to the LCD, but I have checked it many times and I haven't seen it leaking, what did happen to my screen? Is there anything I can do to remove this annoying spot from it?
Anyone?

What's the problem with this screen.

Hey guys, recently my moto z had its battery replaced but when I got home I noticed that the top left of the screen had this white splotch that looks like sunshine shining thru. The screen and touch in that area work fine there's just this "aura" or "glow" I'm attaching a picture to help.
Could be a pressure mark or affects from heat pack to melt glue to get rear case off.
Either way you're not gonna calibrate it out ??
It's surely a burn mark caused by excessive heat from the screen removal process. Unlike lcd screens which turn off pixels and return to normal function when cooled off, oled display pixels just die... Some phones get those kind of marks from the cpu overheating the display from under it.
