Why my experia x is stucked at this Update?
Just like every update, the roll out is staggered and not every region gets it at the same time.
If you want to get the update before the OTA is available to you, you could always use flashtool to download and flash it.

why i cant update my phoone?
You're gonna have to be more specific. How do you even know that the rooting is the problem?
Tell us how you tried to update, what kind of error message you got etc.
First i flash my phone to 0.42 to root, and it went successfully. After that, i try to update to 0.62. when the update process finished then my phone reboot ...and the notification message said that *update could not install try update software again*
** i update via OTA
You used files from this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468866 ?
Just seen Reck1993 post, yesterday I too rooted my Neo (MT15i) following the instructions from the tutorial and I too with .62 do not have ota update available.
Though I'm not too bothered as I realize there will be no more up dates to GB from Sony and it will probably months before ics comes to the uk for for the neo and reading some of the comments in this forum with the .562 nordic it's probably not worth it.
Oh this problem is there because you deleted some system apps.
Flash back to .42 again, and then root, now do OTA update to .62
for me thanks, but as I said I'm not too bothered, there'll be no GB updates from sony, and ICS is wishful thinking, I'll stick with it as it is.

It's just quicker to update manually at this point. Sony probably has a reason for not releasing the update in India. It could well be some carrier issues (all firmware versions has to pass through carriers first, and requires testing). We don't know, and instead of spending time speculating on something that we will never know, you can download and install the update manually and continue with your life
You want it? Go ahead and grab it. It's that easy.

@scorpion_byte can we flash 4.4.4 from HK by using flash tool and again if required come back to India version by flashing indian rom. I understand with this I will loose the data.
Any advantages of going to 4.4.4
Thanks in advance

Hi
My aunt gave me her old phone (XT1524) as she bought a new device.
The device had received the latest December patch. I did want to install LOS 14.1 and thus I unlocked the bootloader. But I want to return the latest stock. I couldn't find the latest one. Only the February one. As a result, I'm NOT able to install it completely and if I flash only the system and the boot.img, I get an update notification (which I'm scared to install because it may brick my device, or it is my idea????)
Anyhow, where I can find the latest and "greatest" stock firmware for my XT1524
Thanks
You're safe to install that update, there is currently no firmware with the December patch available to download. Although at first you might want to fully flash every file from the February firmware from scratch, just to be safe.

Thanks for answering
The update comes via OTA and if you already have a Stock ROM running on Sony Xperia XA (F3111, F3113, F3115 single SIM models, as well as the F3112, F3116 dual SIM variants) then you can update your phone using this new update to 33.3.A.0.131 Nougat update.
The update has already started rolling out via OTA for some region and you may receive the update anytime soon on your phone.
Use Xpeira Companion and check for update if your phone keeps showing up to date in about phone --> software update
Dude we had Nogat on XA for like 3 or 2 months
flashtool prob
hello, new to xda sorry if any mistakes
tried updating 'xperia xa dual f3116' to nougat using 'flashtool-0.9.24.2-win' but it says "drivers need to be installed for connected device".
phone already has TWRP installed and it says 'no os found' hence xperia companion isn't detecting phone on pc.
i am totally stuck. phone don't boot beyond sony logo.
i have been searching google from last five days for drivers, but everything i found gives me following error on flashtool - "phone connected in fastboot mode but drivers are too old".
can i get any help please.....

Can Somebody please provide the download link for the stock "33.3.A.1.97" ftf file for f3116 in India region?
Hi all,
I wanted to flash a newer android 13 stock firmware because my Sony from a UK operator doesn't get the OTA update.
I have the firmware from XperiFirm and made the ftf with flashtool. Just before I was about to get if flashed I was reading comment saying this tool is not good anymore, but I am not 100% sure how to use the Newflasher instead.
Could someone help me on that?
I don't really want to brick my phone and if it's not a safe way to get android 13 I might just don't do it.
Cheers.
