I flashed this rom to my e5803. However, I find the brightness of the screen too bright to look even at the lowest setting, and sound volume is too high even at the lowest setting. I would like to change these 2 extremely annoying features to the same values as in the stock rom. How can I do this?
brightness problem too e5823
You can use Root Volume Mixer from the app store to change the loudness of the speaker. I set it to - 10 and happy with the result.
For the brightness I'm not sure
You can use "Brightness Tweak" for the brightness as a temporary fix

Hi guys!
I may be an odd problem, but I want to lower my ringer volume even more. I have the NoIncRing+CR_LFB mod and am happy with it, but even with that installed I think the ringer is to loud. If I set my ringer volume lower it only vibrates. Is there any files I can change to get it even lower?
If it any help I have a midi-file as ringtone.
After rebooting the Note 2 and making the first call, the device sets the earpiece volume to a higher setting than what it shows in settings. If the setting is set to the lowest volume there is no way to lower it but the phone outputs at a much higher volume. This occurs only during the first call after restart. According to the forums, the Sprint version of the phone has the same issue.
i haven't experienced that yet however it seems like the lowest volume other than mute on the notification volumes is as loud as my nexus was on highest..
Would anybody happen to know how to lower the vibration intensity in CM9? It's kind of odd, but whenever the vibration is on, it's so loud that it rattles something up near the earpiece and it's just annoying when it's at it's highest setting. I've recently been using ROM's such as Alliance and Padawan and they both had a setting for Vibration Intensity in the settings and you were able to slide them to your desired intensity. But now that I switched to CM9 I kind of miss that feature. Lowering the intensity about 2 levels using the slider was perfect for me because it didn't vibrate loud enough to cause the phone to rattle.
Is there a way to edit the intensity settings for vibration in CM9? Perhaps through the build.prop or some other method? Thank you to whoever replies.
On the lowest volume setting for both notification and ringtone, and when playing anything over the speaker, the volume level is way to loud. Is there a special way to adjust the levels?

Hi. I have the lowest in-call volume at 20% level. I can't make it lower and in a quiet room almost everyone can hear my phone conversation. I tried different apps, some of them worked: they could lower the volume to 0%, but the effect lasted until reboot. Can anyone suggest a method how to lower in-call volume below that level?
I'm on Lineage 15, redmi 4x.
