Hi, i just rooted my device and later I realized that with root I can't use some apps.
Is there a way to unroot without wiping everything?
Does anyone have a boot.img for the H960A?

Hey out there,
can someone guide me to a way to update my rooted and twrp'd n9wifi to mob30d without loosing data? I was searching for a zip that can be flashed from twrp but no success until now. Normally i use custom roms so im familiar with this but not with stock roms.
Thx in advance
Just Flash boot, system and vendor images (+Radio on LTE devices).
Also checkout FlashFire app, which can apply an ota (once your system is unmodified/untouched) and also flash factory images.
I have a H850 on V10d. The bootloader is unlocked, TWRP 3.0.2-0 is flashed to the recovery partition and SuperSU 2.78 is installed.
When I try an OTA update, the phone reboots to TWRP. Rebooting from there leaves me with the old firmware.
What is the preferred way to update? Can I use LG Bridge? Or do I have to flash a stock recovery?

Update with LGUp o by flashing firmware zip (if avaible) trough TWRP.
Never do OTA when you are rooted or have a TWRP, there are high possibility to brick in these cases.
so if i have an unlocked bootloader, custom recovery, and i'm rooted, but have a bunch of apps installed and a bunch of configurations, unroot, flash stock and then install the OTA, i'm okay?

If you're going to flash stock, you may not need to worry about an OTA. Just find the latest KDZ file for your G5 H850 here: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h850-firmwares/ and then flash it with LGUP. Your bootloader will still be unlocked, and you'll have to use fastboot to flash TWRP after which you can root your new stock firmware by flashing SU. Flashing stock is just that; you'll lose any installed apps and configurations you've set in 10d.

Maybe you can prevent some losses if you use the LG Backup tool at first!
Make a Backup and you can restore some of your apps and their data.
BUT ALL ICON / SOUND & SYSTEM SETTINGS ARE LOST!

1)You could unroot via supersu if you rooted with it, then
2)You could restore the stock recovery and stock boot partition found in your firmware files.
3) If not working, you'll have to flash firmware to a stock build.
By the way, the stock backup app is working great.
Can you actually download the update via ota on your rooted B150?
Does your capacitives buttons are actually working on rooted B150?
Hey thanks for the reply
I can download it but it fails to update
And the buttons not working, also the flash not works
I have a Moto E 2015 XT1526 with an unlocked bootloader, and TWRP. After trying many roms I finally settled on the stock rom in the interest of having a reliable phone.
The stock rom I flashed isn't the latest so I get the update nag, what happens if I update using this?
I don't mind if it deletes TWRP or kills root I am just worried it will brick the device.
Don't install a stock ota update if you have TWRP... Device will hard brick!
Some users reported that if you want to get ota updates you had to (if i remember):
- Unroot phone and remove all mods
- Install stock recovery
-Get and install ota
Aftee this you can re-install TWRP and other mods.

Heard the same and personally wouldn't risk it.
Hi,
I know it's stupid, but the phone installed the update without my consent and i didn't reboot but my battery was dead. How do i recover from this without loosing any data?
Currently i am bootloader unlocked and have the Magisk manager canary build but no root.
