Hi everyone,Before February update.Everyone must face the smart lock option disappeared problem and it can be solved by disable trust agent then restart and enable it again. But today,I enabled smart lock one day ago and the bug that I told before ? didn't happen again.I don't know if they fix it or not because I sent email to customers care and they lead me to specific operator so they heard about it.
So can anyone restart your device and enable smart lock to test that the bug was fixed or not?
(cuz Im not sure if it's happened only me)
Best regards
Hi,
Same here, since update to 47.1.A.12.119 (March update), every time I restart the phone, smart lock is empty and I have to disable it from trusted apps and restart then enable it to work.
Then after restart it becomes empty again.
Any one faced this and solved it?
Please help.
From what I hear it's an android 8.0 problem. Will be fixed in 8.1

Hello guys,
Its my first post here, and my first android phone, and already i have a annoying problem.
I have searched these forums and many others but didnt find any similar problem or solution for it so here it is:
I bought Samsung Galaxy S2 15 days ago, from the local mobile service provider with contract. It runs OS Gingerbread 2.3.3 (adjusted to my mobile service provider settings), not rooted, under warranty.
Ive downloaded and installed many apps. Among them some free games from android market - demos, lite, free.
Sometimes, while i play, not often, game freezes. When it does only thing that is lest working is sound, and home button. Than i go to home screen, kill the game via android task manager, and than i see that screen auto rotation isnt working. Its stuck in landscape mode mostly, or portrait, even the auto rotation option is on. If it is in landscape mode, when i uncheck auto rotation then it goes to portrait mode. If i try some other game that supports sensor controls, like driving (accelerometer?).... u know...... when u tilt the phone to turn right or left......... and its not working.
Ive discovered 2 possible temporary solutions for the problem:
1. Turn off and on the phone, and its back to normal;
2. Wait for a 10 min or so, and its back to normal by itself;
I have one year warranty and i took the phone to service where they assumed that it is a software problem and flashed OS (ive recorded the behaviour of the phone with camera and showed to the service guy).
Ive got the phone back after a day with flashed OS. On a fresh instal of OS ive installed just one app, one game that it tends to freeze and cause problem - "Cordy" free trial. After just 20 sec of playing problem occurred again. It happened just that one time in last two days.
Any opinion on this matter is most welcome.
Tnx in advance.
If the phone is stuck then Restarting it is the option, not a temporary one. Now what's causing the freeze? I don't know.
Regards.
Tnx for answering. Im a bit disappointed with lack of answers because it just saying that my problem is not something common and with easy solution.
Im saying that restarting the phone is a temporary solution because i want find one that will prevent the problem for happening at all. Game freeze and accelerometer not working r connected in this case
It happened just now.
After that I checked in the app called sensor test that i instaled ffrom android market, and also that testing menu typing *#0*#.
in both cases it shows that acceleration sensor is not working. It came to normal by itself after 5 min or so.
What do u think? Software or hardware problem?
OK, update.
Its not caused just by the games, it happens even when not using any apps.
Accelerometer, orientation sensor and magnetic field sensor just stop working for a 5-10 min. Dont know whats causing this.
Tommorow is going back to service and im afraid that guys there r clueless.
Anyone have some suggestion pls.
Update on a problem.
My friend bought same phone from same service provider 3 days after i did and he is having exactly same problem.
He didnt had time before to test it but we did it yesterday, and after a hour of so trying to reproduce problem we succeded.
My phone is at service and i called today and the service guy said that the work on my phone is completed, they replaced sensors part (which apparanty comes with touch screen).
Im picking it up tommorow and i will test it and see if the problem is solved. But, im pesimistic.
How likely is that me and my friend have same hardware problem?
Here it is on video. Pls watch it and give any kind of oppinion, im getting desperate.

Hi there fellow S6 edge owners.
my version of Samsung S6 Edge is Hong Kong's G9250, only got this phone two days, ago, I used to have an HTC One m7 and always rooted with custom roms, but seems like Samsung has done a great job this time, I am going to stick with stock rom for now.
Strange things happened to me after I purchase from the store and with the helpful staff from the samsung store helping me setting up this beauty. Not long later after I walk out of the store the Following message from Security Log pops up: "Unauthorised actions have been detected. Restart your device to undo any unauthorised changes"
So I restart my phone, thinking it's no biggie, but the message would reoccur any time in between 30 to 2 hours, or when I am updating and installing apps as a new phone. I didn't transfer any old contents, nor having install any apk manually. The rom is stock as it can be.
So I factory reset it, and the same message would keep popping up, I scan my phone using the security app and no threats were found, but I had to restart my phone to make the notifications goes away, I start to suspect there might be something wrong with the rom itself or the kernel, so I decide to Factory reset it in under 6 hours of purchase, after booting on and signing in, the message would come up again!!
So I took it to the store, and asked them have they seen this? One of the manager said you need to cleared the app preferences and clear the credentials. I also updated the security policy myself. but still no luck. So they gave me a new one, with in 20 minutes of setting up, the message "Unauthorised actions have been detected. Restart your device to undo any unauthorised changes" Comes up again.
I am just wondering if any other is experiencing any similar issues? This is getting annoying.
same issue
Im having the same issue with Australian stock.
I too am having the same issue on Australian stock. :/
I'm having the exact same issue with Hong Kong stock. Tried everything from reinstalling to clearing the app preferences.
Has anyone found a solution to this annoyance? I don't like these notifications popping up every 5 minutes!!
If youre rooted, Use TitaniumBackup and freeze "SecurityLogAgent"
it'll get rid of those popups
Sent from my SM-G925V using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Same problem
Norwegian Phone. Same problem. Notification every 5 min or so.

same problem here as well
So, I was faced with the same problem as you all above. I did a bit of research and speculate (I'm still not 100% on this) that this security bug is linked with the keyboard Samsung has preinstalled on the device. Try disabling it, using another keyboard, or just disconnecting it from any network it may use (mainly to update your dictionary regularly.)
What I did exactly:
-Reboot phone into recovery, wipe cache partition, factory reset.
-Start up phone, security threat came after a few minutes, before anything was installed.
-Restarted phone through security to reset kernel
-On startup, disabled keyboard and enabled swiftkey. Scanned, result: secure.
-Enabled keyboard, but disabled all features. No problems. Scanned, result: secure.
-Enabled features one by one, no problems yet. No problems. Scanned, result: secure.
-Reset keyboard settings. Scanned, result: secure. After a few minutes, security was triggered.
As I said, this may or may not be related, but this is the first time I've been seeing my phone as secured since I bought it.
I read somewhere that the problem is known.. and should be fixed in an update...if you are rooted you know what you have to do
Had the very same problem which disappeared with the update to 5.1.1. Have a couple of colleagues who suffered as well as the update cleared it up. Unfortunately from what I've read 5.1.1 kills the prospect of rooting without triggering Knox... Should have done more research before rushing to update...

I am in ontario and i had the edge from a month ago and unfortunately broke it but got a new one last night in the mail and now this issue is happening to me. My first edge ive had for a month has never given me this warning before super annoying and im not reseting a bunch of ****. Was hoping thered be a disable option for the security grrr... i guess hope an update fixes this.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, last night it decided to tell me my PIN was wrong and would not unlock (I've had the same PIN for years so I know for a fact I was entering it correctly) I removed the battery and it let me unlock my phone without a problem. If I tell the phone to lock and unlock it right away it will accept my PIN without having to pull the battery.
I have my phone set to lock after 1 hour of inactivity
I use ToucherPro which I can also use to lock my phone by selecting the feature in Toucher
I use 3 xda - x tether, snapprefs, lucky patcher (not fully activated, not sure if this is considered xda)
I keep my phone data and wifi off so I am afraid that removing the battery will stop solving the issue and I will not have access to my phone at all.
This morning it did it again - once again I pulled the battery and it worked fine.
My phone is rooted and unlocked for carrier, it currently running 4.4.2 (I cannot do a software update due to it being rooted) I bought the phone unlocked and rooted so I have no idea what root was used.
I have had the phone over a year now and have never had a problem like this till now.
I don't know if this applies at all but lately I've been getting a notification about "SE for Android has been disabled. Restart device to fix" I've done this, multiple times but each time I pull the battery the notification comes back BUT since I've had a problem with the PIN it has not gave me this notification again.
If I had to pinpoint when I started to have odd issues with my phone, it was when I downloaded and installed Freedom Patcher months ago. I uninstalled the app the same day I downloaded it - I do not recall exactly what Freedom did that made me uninstall other than it didn't work for what I was trying to use it for.
I have run avast antivirus on my phone - it says everything is good. I would like to avoid a hard reset. I have snapchat and to use snapchat on a rooted phone is very difficult as they have updated their security so it would require me creating a new account - I also like my root access so I would not want to lose this. I will try what anyone recommends but hard reset is only once I hit rock bottom with this issue.
I have the same problem, and have never used freedom patcher. A simple restart lets me enter my pin.
I updated my Moto Z to Nougat 7 and now when I use the fingerprint scanner to unlock my phone, the transition to show the screen from when it's off, takes longer to come up (the fade in animation, isn't as responsive as before). Has anyone else encountered this issue? It's only fast when the screen is locked with the screen on already (when it shows the time). Also, I do not have any other conflicting apps that would affect the fingerprint scanner either.
I have this problem too since I upgraded to Nougat.
Had the same problem when I updated to Nougat earlier this month... it was so annoying that I did a factory reset and setup the phone afresh which solved the problem... until yesterday when another update was pushed for Feb security patch level and the problem resurfaced... will keep searching if there is a fix as I am not really prepared to do a factory reset again
After some minor bug I have decided to master reset my phone after wiping all data and stuff the phone was running cool but since yesterday when I lock the screen 1-2min after the phone freeze and restart after. When I am using it no problem whether is plugged to charge or not.
It’s only reboot or freeze when you lock the screen or stop using the phone
I need help

Are you Running a Custom ROM?
If yes you should go into your ROM's thread .
If you are running stock Android , the problem comes from the OEM , you should search for this issue on internet to find someone else who faced this bug and try to know if there's a fix.
On my side , I can't do much because I don't own your device and I never heard about this before
I hope you'll find the answer on the internet
