Hi there.
Just read that the Huawei p20 will be able to record in super slow-motion like samsung S9 and Sony zx1/2.
The Huawei p20 will have same hardware as the mate 10 pro, so shouldn't mate 10 pro be able as well?

It is rumored that P20 won't have Leica branded cameras and P20 Plus has 3 cameras. So I am guessing they have different camera hardware.
Samsung and Sony doesn't use the same camera or processor either.

The slow motion in Sony and Samsung is possible thanks to a DRAM chip in the camera. If Huawei do that so the answer is no, it won't come to the mate 10
Let's dream possible of fixing the scrolling smoothness and games
mate 10 pro have slow motion mode
bl29 b129
i can confirm

I don't see it anywhere ..... anyone knows the official number for the screen latency of the Mate 10 Pro/Non Pro?
In your experience how does it compare with other flag ships or to Mate 9??
Which one should be/is better? Pro or Non Pro screen as to latency?
Thanks :good:

Coming from mate 9 to mate 10 pro
I don't feel difference in touch frankly
Noting that in both phones i was activating gloves mode.
A little bit slower than the U11+ I've got here. Seems very bad when using Samsung browser, big touch delay sometimes
Hey guys,
does anyone know which Widevine CDM Security Level is present with the Mate 20 Pro?
Thanks
L1 is on all recent mid to high end Huawei/Honor phones (Mate 10 Pro, P20/Pro etc..), would not be different for this one[emoji6]

That's good to know, thanks.
I was asking because there was just L3 present on my MediaPad M5 when I got it. At this time it wasn't even possible to play content in HD on popular platforms like Netflix or Amazon Prime video.
Fortunately Huawei fixed that issue OTA.
Hi to all,
Csn someone test Mate 20 Pro zoom 3x, 5x, 10x with P20 Pro zoom? I think like Mate 20 Pro doesn't have hybrid zoom when go on 5x and more.

Hey Guys
So I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, purchased in the UK.
I am very interested in the Freebuds 2 Pro however as I'm sure your aware they aren't available global yet, only a Chinese version released.
I don't mind ordering the Chinese versions but I just wanted to check if there are any known compatibility issues with a non-Chinese Mate 20 Pro.
I've read about compatiblity issues with phones that do not have Bluetooth 5.0 (Mate 20 Pro does so that's ok), read about issues with the software version having to be above 171 for the HWA to work (my mate 20 pro is over this version).
Is there anything else I need to consider before I make the purchase? Is there going to be an issue with languge in some way? I know there's no display but possibly voice commands or recognition issues for the English language?
Any help would be great, I'm guessing I'm not the only one wondering on a global release date.

Hey
I do have the freebuds 2 pro and a LYA-L29 with 187 firmware.
They fit perfectly with one another.
No issues and better than with my P20 pro.
I really can recommend them.
I think the only disadvantage is the short battery life from about one hour.
But they are very quick rechargeable with its box.

Thanks Orlando, my mate 20 Pro is LYA-L09, not sure what the difference is between the LYA-L29? is it only dual sim difference? I'm running with 187 firmware too, so this is good to hear.
I assume you are located outside of China right?

Yes, it is the dual functionality only.
And also yes. Not in China ?
That is the reason why it is really difficult for me to use the companion app to update the firmware on the buds ?, but thank God there is Google Lens ?

I can't seem to get mine to pair with my P30 Pro. I press the button, white led flashes, nothing appears in the bluetooth list of devices. Any ideas?
Edit: 10 mins later they just appeared with no issue. All seems fine now!
I recently bought some Freebuds 2 Pro, So far i'm impressed with them. They work great with my UK Mate 20 Pro, and i'm on 9.0.0.210.
Audio quality is excellent, but not noticed a difference with HWA turned on.
How is call quality with freebuds 2 pro especially in noisy environments? And what is bone id anyway!
Can anybody say why Mi 10 5g can record video 1080/60 fps as max, But another phones like Mi 10T can record 1080/960 fps but with the same hardware! Why? It's software limit or hardware? If it's software, why a rom with this limitation must be installed?! It's possible to remove this limitation and get higher fps in video recording?

Because the Mi 10T is newer than the Mi 10. It'll probably make it's way to the Mi 10 software eventually

No It's not true. Older phones like mi 9t pro with older chipset(snapdragon 855) can record video by 240 fps, but mi 10 with powerful chipset(865) cann't!!! And Mi 10T with same hardware can!!!!

It is due to camera hardware limitation. A limit in local camera cache size (due to 108MPx sensor) is limiting the fps to a maximum of 240fps in 1080p
