I have tronsmart orion r68 device with 16gb storage, but i can only istall apps to a max of 2gb, the storage is divided to two. what can i do to install more apps? i need it for android gamepad games for my kid.

Newbie question - I saw a Sumvision Cyclone Media Player Slim Plus online running Android 4.0 which seemed to offer 1Gb ROM and 2 GB SD,,,,when delivered Android seemed to report 502Mb for Internal Storage and 236Mb for SD.....I read this as 512Mb and 256Mb but this did not match what I expected.
After contacting Sumvision they insisted that the label for the device "M3" was a 1Gb model - they said the above was shown because Android does not show a true ROM size. They said a 3rd party app may show true storage.
I tried 6 different storage managers from Play Store...all showed 502Mb/236Mb.
I don't know if the story from Sumvision is baloney.....please could someone advise me......on top of all that I don't know ROM/RAM differentiation on Android ??

I have some problems with my new cheap-o tablet I got from Walmart.
Maybe someone can help me out (I know very little about computers and such)
1. The tablet is supposed to have 8GB memory, but when I am installing apps, I am running out of it, I dont understand? is the internal memory that low? (I have only 345mb left now) and I cant move anything to the SD or to the 8GB that the tablet has.
2. I had rooted my phone in the past (Samsung) with no problems. I am trying to root my tablet to be able to free some internal memory and be able to install apps in the SD card... but it seems I cant find a suitable root tool to do this. Could you recommend me what to do?
Other than that, I added a keyboard to this tablet ($24.99 at Staples) and it works pretty well !For being a cheap tablet I dont have complains, but I would like to be able to free the memory to add some more apps.

I bought this tablet about a year ago, but I have not really used it because I have an iPad but recently I thought of using it and it was running slow. It was also complaining about memory. I bought a new microSD card but it is not allowing me to save apps to it. I have made sure device is rooted and can access card on PC so microSD card is. Anytime I move to SD always moving to NAND flash memory and not SD. I thought a change of ROM might help with SD issue and also increase speed of tablet. I am currently using jellybean 4.1 and will not let me upgrade through the normal process.
PS. If anyone could suggest a fast ROM compatible with my device would be grateful and also quick guide on how to put new ROM on tablet because not done it before.
Hi there. I'm a new member to the community and in desperate search for a Android 6.0 Marshmallow ROM that is compatible with my Hip street Pilot Tablet. Or even someone willing to make one? I've had problems since I picked up this tab in a sale, mainly being stuck on 5.1 Lollipop and lack of internal memory (unable to run apps on SD card). I have rooted it and tried to relocate my main memory to SD card but no luck with what I need it for. Really I need marshmallow where I can sync the internal and external memory as one. This TV box only have 8GB ROM. I have been trying to change the default download folder to the external SD card without any success. Trying to download a movie from Mubi but it wasn't sufficient space to do it.
Anyone know a solution?
A bit late, but try Foldermount. It's working on my Beelink Mini MXiii - don't know how similar the hardware is but I've used it on all sorts and it just works.
