Hey Guys,
I need your knowledge.
First my setup. I use MicroG together with Play Store.
It works but in newer Version of the play store i have a new section in the app list with Google Play Protect.
But i don't want that Google scans all my apps and i'm not sure whether Play Protect is activ on my device.
Or thinks the Play Store only that Protect runs because of MicroG?
And if so is there a working way to pretend the Play Store from self updating?
Edit: In the meantime i found a work around. So Thread can be closed/deleted.

Hi all,
Is there any app out there that could notify me (I don't even need to block, only be notified) when Google Play Services, Google Play Store and other silently autoupdatable Google apps are updated?
I recall to be able to do it using Xposed module X-Privacy... Now I'm on stock rooted Marshmallow and I wouldn't like to use Xposed...
Any app out there?
Thanks a lot.
No one cares ¿?
No one? Really?
I uninstalled Google Play Services for a mistake. I need it back on my phone now.
I can't use the Google Play Store without it so I can't install it from there.
I have a Kazam Tornado 348. Please help me

Why can't you use play store? Need more details...
I have a Yamaha Adventure Pro tablet that I bought with my 2019 Yamaha side by side. It's pretty neat because it IPX6 water resistant and interfaces with the vehicle (speed, temperature, voltage, etc.) but it doesn't have the Google Play Store and I cannot for the life of me get the Google Services fully functional (I have tried both the APK installs and the script install for Amazon Fire devices). Tablet is running Android 6.01 and is not certified for Play Protect Certification. I installed the Device ID app and submitted to Google for Play Protect Certification.
I have successfully installed Google Account manager, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework and the Google Play Store. I have logged into Google in the accounts setting and it syncs properly.
Problem is that Google Play Services constantly crashes and I cannot download anything or update anything using the Playstore. I believe the Play Services crashing prevents this.
All I really want is the ability download offline maps for Google maps. I have successfully download a couple maps but with Google Play Services crashing the tablet really can't be used.
Anyone have any advice for getting Google Play Services to stop crashing? I have tried different version, clearing caches and date of Google related apps and service and the Download Manager. I'm pulling my hair out. I regret buying this tablet but I cannot return it.
Thanks for any help.
I really want to play the game "Grid Autosports" but it is not available on the Google Play Store as the device has not been approved to play the game. Is there a workaround for this? Is there a way I can get the Google Store to think my phone is an "approved" phone. Thanks in advance!!!

Hi, this game has unfortunately whitelist of devices on which you can install it. Theoretically you if you have rooted phone you can rename your device to one of supported but please do not do it. On for example YouTube you can find tutorials which will show you how to install it on unsupported device. You have to just download apk and data. Install apk and extract data to specific folder and it should work. Good luck.
I am going to be buying an android TV device thats ROM that does not have google play store and i will just install it my self.
I am wondering is there any downsides to this. Will i still be able to download and install all the apps from play store or is there any limitations at all?
Google Play Store simply is a market place for Android apps. To successfully run the Google Play Store app it's required some more Google services ( e.g. Google Play Services, Google Services Framework ) get additionally installed. Many people don't want this.
It's on you.

Thank you.
So play store does not check if your device is supported/official it just lets you download and use any app as long as you meet the requirements of the app.
Google Play Store doesn't care what Android version is installed on a device: they want to earn money from the apps they offer.
