Trying to get back to completely stock

I'm trying to get back to completely stock before return the Note. These are the steps I found in another thread. I was coming from the UCLF leak but the baseband is still showing UCLF.
1) Flash stock odin through Odin
2) Flash CWM Recovery through Odin
3) Flash AT&T Reset Flash Counter Zip through CWM Recovery
4) root without tripping the flash counter: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1518962
5) unroot without tripping the flash counter: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=133
After doing this, I thought everything looks stock until I noticed that the baseband was still on UCLF5. Did I flash the wrong stock odin?

Yes the flash counter rises when you flash via recovery you can use a custom kernel and the tringle away app from chainfire will reset your flash counter after you have flashed a rom. Simply after you flashed a rom install a custom kernel and then use the tringle away apk to get rid of the flash counter..
You can also get rid of your flash counter by using odin to flash your stock rom back..

WOW! That was completely inaccurate! No! Flashing in recovery does NOT increase your binary counter! Flashing via MobileODIN does NOT increase your binary counter! Only flashing non-stock builds via PC ODIN will increase your counter. Furthermore, if you have tripped your counter, going back to stock will NOT reset it. The only way you can currently reset a counter is with Triangle Away.
So anyway, just don't flash custom ROMs from PC ODIN, and you won't trip your counter. Flashing from recovery is fine!

If your counter is tripping everytime you use recovery to flash, either you're doing something wrong or your handset is frakked! Either way, the information you posted was grossly inaccurate. Good day!

Completely inaccurate.
Flashing via Odin will raise your flash counter, mobile Odin doesn't and neither does cwm.
Flashing to stock via Odin will NOT revert your flash counter to 0, it will only remove the modified status from system info under settings.
Triangle away will revert the flash counter to 0.

The 1 is there from when you flashed a custom kernel via Odin/cf root via Odin.
If cwm was tripping it every time it wouldn't be at 1, it would increase.
Edit: I just realised everything I said has already been said. Either way it still stands.

Wow you sounded so sure of yourself it almost made me believe you. I was thinking why do i bother using Triangle away when I could just flash stock rom lol
Anyways what the rest say is true. The only real time your counter will increase if when you first flash a recovery or rom via Odin on pc. After that if you stick to using CWM it will remain the same, wether that be on ZERO or anything else. Triangle away will reset that for you
So how dangerous is Triangle Away
Okay, thank for everyone of you, but how dangerous it is to use triangle away. I got it in my phone but haven't used it yet.

Q: about the triangle and flash counter

I've been curious on how the triangle and the flash counter works. So, please consider the following scenarios and answer accordingly:
Flash a...
1. a fully stock ROM via...
a. Odin
b. Mobile Odin.
c. CWM (going from a custom ROM).
2. a modified Samsung ROM like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704185 which include very minimal stuff via...
a. CWM
b. Mobile Odin (is it even possible considering that it is a zip file?)
3. an AOSP ROM via any method.
And finally
4. If you had a triangle and then flashed a stock ROM does it disappear?
Thank you guys and I would be very grateful if you answer these questions.
There is no triangle on SGS3, only the flash counter (and a device status in phone settings)
Flashing with odin will increase your flash counter except if you're flashing a stock rom from Samsung
Flashing with mobile odin will not increase your flash counter
Flashing with CWM should not increase your flash counter
If you flash a stock rom, it will not reset your flash counter
You can reset your flash counter with triangle away (need root) from chainfire BUT you will have to reflash a stock rom in order to reset the device status
