Hello everyone , on trying to upgrade my alcatel v860 to a cyanogenmod 7 system , i had to delete the system partition and custpack partition because this new zip file will replace those current partitions , however i had an issue .
I have the boot , bootloader , recovery & data partitions still active in the phone , i know this because i did not erase those partitions , however since my system partition do not exist and possibly fastboot makes a call to phone /usr/bin files for the upload , i am stuck in the logo of android and i am unable to upload those partitions because right now my windows do not recognize the phone driver .
On fastboot i had android 1.0 driver , but know it turned to unknown device .
After a few looks n the web i realized that the driver that i need is the broadcom usb to serial driver , witch i have here , but somehow it is not installing correctly and right now i have no idea why is that happening .

Does any kind soul around here with time and patience to read this topic in millions of others experience this ?
Is there a way to solve this issue without much sweat ?
If the only solution is jtagging the phone then where can i find the schematic on the phone pins to do it ?
Note : this phone is not in warranty anymore , so send it to the provider is out of subject .

I discovered that the broadcom to serial driver that i have here with the correct VID for my phone works in XP and i was trying to install it in W7 64bit .
So , the best way is to create a Vrtual XP machine for this issue and add the phone usb port (identifyed as Broadcom) to VM config so the XP can detect it .

I have rootet my phones and swapped kernels and roms
and tried to get a hang of this for 3 years now, and usualy
i find the anwsers i need in the forum.. (great job guys realy love all of you)
But after a weekend of headscratching, i need to make a post here and ask for help..
my phone got softbricked and stuck at Bootscreen after a failed kernel swap, i resolved it by flashing a new kernel through Odin since download mode was the only thing i got it to enter.. But after this my device no longer recognises adb nor the usb
As well as Windows 7 64 cant find the devices driver.. anywere.. yes i have ofc tried the newest available driver.. But the device works.. it just doesent want to communicate with my computer. Odin aswell get COM errors from time to time..
Cant mount ext.sd card, and loading backup doesent seem to do anything either.
Plz help ? :crying:
Try flashing again your ROM since you may have damaged the operating system during the failed kernel swap and the subsequenct failed boots.
If that still fails, take a Titanium backup (aswell as SMS Backup+) and factory-reset the device. However that should not be necessary

i have a Samsung galaxy s3 clone . it was bought from shop in china . dont know who actually made it .
i made its backup with mtkdroid root tools 2.3 but its corrupted.
i tried few roms and flashed it with wrong preloader and dsp_bl .. which gave me total brick .. no charging . no display. no detection by pc.
after a lot of hit and trial i somehow unbricked it . now it has android 4.0.4 . but it has few problems.
1: Cameras are not working
2: Sim management is greyed out /disabled .. and no imei ..
3: No baseband ..
now since my own created backup is corrupt and this set is not branded so no real way of identifying it how can i find its factory rom ? from which information I can decide whether a ROM is compatible with my device?

it is highly important to have the version info screen shot/picture/details from the factory mode .. so before embarking on any adventure do it asap.. [factory mode can be obtained differently on different devices.. on my device it comes with vol up +power key]
that screen has a whole bunch of info .. and that in conjunction with the about phone menu from android settings menu can tell u with quite certainity which rom is rigth and which is not for u..
match the baseband version and date .. from factory mode of ur device with the one which u intend to flash onto your device)
match the kernel version.. ..
also the kernel version of both roms (original and the one which u intend to flash )should be same in android system info menu which is obtained by going to settings and about phone ..
and the sw version written on the motherboard of your device is actually the kernel version (from my little experience) .
the sw version shown on your board should be same as that in the android about phone menu .. the version wont matter ... (again in my little experience )
i unbricked quite a few devices ...and tried almost half a dozen roms on each device .. actualy 4* ~5 =20 combinations.. so all of the above is from my personal experience..
AND DO NOT flash preloader and dsp_bl .. unless you are unbricking the device .. ( .. or flash if u want to brick it........in other words..)

i have problem too, but different clone. mine s4 clone with MTK 6575_01 ( i'm not sure , but i tried to flash by SP flash tool with based ROM mtk 6589. always FAILED )

SOLVE step by step i did
SOLVE
with this stok rom mtk 6575 .can download from ( d**s.google.com/file/d/0B6uumU74LB_xb0ZNaGRBUWRILWc/edit?usp=sharing replace ** with oc )
then flash with SPflashtool , as i use SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1328.0.183 -->
and don't forget to install MT6575/6577 USB VCOM drivers
when flashing with spf. when inserting a USB from your PC to your phone while holding vol +.
after flash succed. phone unbricked . i was happy
but there's any problem. SIM CARD not detected. no baseband. imei not valid. but camera phone normally.
then i try factory MODE by press power holding vol up
then choose clear eMMC.
reboot phone.
worked by me
invalid imei - use mobile uncle tool
worked. by me

this is my first posting in this exiting forum I just found ! Found / read already some postings, but they couldn't help me in detail.
I'v computer experience only in HW and Win SW. There is no LINUX knowledge. But I think with this great forum my Android problem(s)
can be solved.
My story: Bought PIPO U1-pro.Good build quality, brilliant display resolutuion,weak WLAN. For my first Android device it's o.k. for me.
The device run perfect for some weeks, but than could't be switched on although fully charged ! Some minutes later it was possible to
switch on ? ? ! ! Next day same situation. Made a reset, tablet worked for a while, then every app just made a restart of the tablet.
Now it's dead, can't be switched on anymore. Tried to install latest english factory SW - not possible - RKBatchtool no green "1" possible. only blue on start and red after trying to flash.
But fortunately device is found with RKandroidTool. Tool says" Found RKAndroid Loader Rock USB" . I think that's are good news
I unpacked latest PIPO firmware w windal tool and I think now I'v got all I need to flash the device, that's are :
- RK30xxLoader
- Images: boot, kernel, misc, recovery, system, update
- package-file, parameter, recover-script, update-script
Now my questions:
1. Should I erase IDB first ?
2. What are the correct adresses in RKAndroidtool ? Found different values on different RKAndroidtool_1.35 , especially for "system"

I have an emei problem on my note 2 clone mtk6575
after searching and flashing and modding and learning , i have been able to boot android on this device after it got bricked while READING memory/nand from SP flash tool!!!
Now no emei , no baseband , and i do not even know were to start.
Tried mobile uncle tools, engineering mod , its says radio on , absent , but the AT command failed to send.
tried mtk droid tools , to restore my nvram.bin and .tar , and even to set the imei , its says pttycmd1 not found and nothing happens.
tried spflash tool , edited scatter file to enable nvram to show up , loaded the nvram image , but the spflash starts speaking about layouts , formatted , and used firmware upgrade mod , got an error , with no text string to explain.
tried to copy the nvram files from stock rom via adb , restarted , still the same.
logcat shows something about nvram like nvram not ready , nothing else , neither do dmesg.
the partition is mounted , or i wouldn't see the files under /data/nvram right? so mtd2 is not corrupted.
tried all the flashing tools , Maui META 3G , sn write tool , imei&sn writer .... all with the same issue:
the device goes into meta mode , and the cdc drivers are installed , detected and loaded with given virtual com port , but the utilities are all getting time out , they are sending commands to device but device is not answering , and the strange thing is i can adb shell to it , with aprox all stuff mounted , and no nothing in dmesg regarding modem , nvram , radio , usb ....
I have also tried a lot of other stuff , like copying my stock modem.img , resetting permissions under nvram , using write memory of SPFT to write the raw data of my stock nvram to nvram address ..... i do not know what i might be doing wrong as well as what i am exactly doing lol
I hope someone is actually having this issue or not but might be able to give a clue on what to do , since the past 2 month and thanks to the xda developpers forums and wikis i have diged into android, ported recoveries roms boot.img's , and just do not want to go for compiling kernels and building android from scratch yet...

Hello Every One My Mobile Is a China Model And Its Model Number is MT6576 . I Have Formated Every Thing even Format /Boot . Now Im Unable To see Even Boot Menu. But Before I have alredy Made A Backup Of That I Have Those Files With me . But When I Try To Flash it With "Android AIO Flasher" it Says Device Not Found. I Dont No What To Do I Dont Want to Spend Money To Repair In'sted I Wanna Do It My Self . I need Any one To Help For Me Please . It Doesnt Even Show That it is charging . What i have Now is Files To Flash ( Backup) , My Mobile , Usb Connector . Please help me in This Regard
