Custom .ogg sounds - LG V30 Questions & Answers

I decided to switch out LG's lock and unlock sounds to the sounds from MGS V's iDroid. The only problem was that I only had the sounds in .mp3, so I converted them to .ogg and replaced the files within the folder which had the lock and unlock sounds.
It's all gone according to plan and the sounds work, but I've noticed it only plays at about 50% volume, regardless of the system volume I select (5%-100%). Any idea as to how I can fix this?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Poor Notification Sound Volume!!!

Hi Guys, in the volume settings i have the notification volume to the the max but when i have a massage the sound is too low, i try to put other sounds for a massage ( stock sounds ) but the sounds is too low also, i download some other sounds, i but them in the sd card, but i can't put them as notification sound, do you know how to put the downloaded sounds to play as notifications?! and if you know some cool sounds for notifications?!
Thanks.
If you look for a file called "Media" then in there are more files. One of them is "notifications" put your audio files there (you can copy the "media" to your "external_sd")

[Q] Cannot find a certain file in my system.

I'm running miui and for some reason, cannot find the file of the tone that plays when you use the volume rocker to adjust the ringer volume. I CAN'T STAND THAT TONE. I've looked in system/media/audio/ui, and there IS a file called VolumeAdjust.ogg, but when I played it it didn't sound anything like the tone i normally hear. Disabled that file anyways and the original tone remains.

is there a way to change to lock screen sound?

i know in settings you can turn on a 'click' sound when the phone screen sleeps or locks or unlocks, but its a click camera-type sound. is there a way i can change the sound it makes? maybe someone knows the path to the sound file i can just copy another file over it, rename it the same? perhaps that would work?
or any way to do it.
thanks

[Q] Is it possibe to disable sounds when pressing volume rocker?

Guys, it might sound kind of odd but i'm trying to find a way to disable those standart android sounds (beep -beep-beep) when you increase/decrease ringtone volume from homescreen and elsewhere. I like the way how htc implemented it in sense (different tones) but i understand that it can be impossible to port them to SIII. However i'm very tired with those beeps especially when on higher range. So if someone know how to perform this trick please responŠ²
if you are rooted you can remove or rename the TW_Volume_control.ogg file in /system/media/audio/ui

Boot animations

Now that we have root has gained has anyone changed their boot animation yet? Just curious because I know with the s3 there were files that needed to be added to make it work so I was putting it out there to see if anyone has had success yet. Thanks in advance
No new animation but I did go to system/media/audio/ui and replaced the PowerOn and Power .ogg files with camera_empty.ogg which is silent. Did the same with all the camera sounds too. Just couldn't find the focus sound.

...Auto_focus appears to be in system/media/audio/ui ..
Yeah I changed auto focus and any other files that sounded like they had anything to do with the camera. I listened to all the files in that directory and non of them quite sound like the beep when you hold down the shutter button for focus so maybe it's in another directory or baked into the app itself. It's just funny that I was able to change everything else.

May be the shutter_ogg. I don't know. But I've deleted all sounds associated with the camera as well (may be against the law in your state so be careful) and I don't hear any sound.
Could possibly be that you've modified. I've completely deleted. Maybe there's the difference. Try moving the files over to your SD card, you'd always be able to put them back if that didn't solve your problem.
