So I installed the latest 134 update (face unlock) from Funky Huawei. I have noticed since my Google Pay will not work and my banking apps will not allow fingerprint login as it says fingerprint login will not work if the device has been rooted or system settings have been changed. I never got this warning before.
Can anyone confirm if Google pay transactions work in a store if you are on 134 update?

[Q] Google marked blocked !

A very stupid problem happened to me and caused no access to Android market (Google play) and to all my purchased applications. I will explain, maybe there is someone who has an idea how to solve this.
I bought my Moto ATRIX 4G one year ago in US and registered it to google (gmail, market, google+) using my AT&T mobile number I got with the phone. As I am only from time to time in the US, I unlocked the branding to AT&T, got root access and unblocked the bootloader. Here at home I use the ATRIX with my Portuguese sim card.
In the meantime google changed the access to market, gmail etc. by adding this additional security with a code (called two step something) sent by text message. So you need username, password and every 30 days (?) this code from google.Unluckily this code is sent to my AT&T (US) number only. That time I forgot to register a second number to get the code. My AT&T sim card has no rooming (it is a prepaid one) so I can not use it here at home to get the code.
Last week I flashed my ATRIX to cyanogen(mod) ROM. After flashing your ROM you have to install again (or restore from a back-up) your applications. Anyway for the purchased applications (and I have about 30 ones !) you need to have full access to the market to prove (load) your licence key even you restored them from a back-up.
Here I am stuck now. My access to the marked is blocked due to the missing code sent by google. I tried everything to get access:
- About 10 emails to google. They are always responded by an automatic feedback.
- There is some kind of form you can fill to prove that you are the owner of the account. Not worked.
- Tried to register my Portuguese phone number to get the code on this number. No option to register a second number now.
- I tried the Google Authenticator. The created code is not working for me.
All feedbacks from google refused to activate my account.
Of course I can wait an other two month still I am back in the US and can get the code, but this isn't really satisfying. Not to be missunderstood: My username and my password are OK and accepted. Only this code is missing.
In my opinion this is a very bad situation. I have purchased all these applications from the market and now I am blocked to use / download / re-install them by google.
Do anybody had a similar experience ? Is there any contact (telephone, email, ...) with google, where I will not get an automated feedback. Your help is greatly appreciated.

android pay in system administrators without installation of android pay

Hi,
I noticed the android pay has been added to device administrators in my android phone. I haven't installed android pay.
I have google play sevices 8.3.01.
I found nothing in google search about it.
Do anyone know if this is a part of google updates?
Let's return to this thread as I observed certain behavior.
Once I installed bank application - google pay device admin appears however I don't have google pay application.
I figured out that it is embedded into google services framework.
I disabled admin using system tuner but despite that admin appears again in random times.
Obviously bank app uses some google's function or google framework scans device periodically and enables it again.
It is not related to use bank app, nor reboot, nor google wallet in general.
I wonder if anyone has an idea what function is triggering admin to be active again and again.

Does google security key (fido u2f) work on EMUI 10?

I tried to use my fido u2f key by NFC to log in my google account in Chrome, but got an error "empty tag".
Does anyone meet such problem?
The key works good on other phones with my google account. Not sure if EMUI 10 miss any module for it.

Is there any way to use g pay with Poco F1 with custom rom and a wear os smartwatch?

Hi,
is there a way to use google pay with a Poco F1 with custom rom, magisk and nfc capable smartwatch with wear os?
I live in germany and have a Poco F1 with latest build of crDroid 6.9, rooted with Magisk 20.4 and a Fossil Garrett HR 4082 Smartwatch.
It doesn't work here because whenever i try to setup the g pay app on smartwatch, it tells me that i have to check network connection after selection of my google account. When i tap on "try again" it let me select my google account and i got "check network connection" again. When i tap an cancel, it says i should complete setup on my smartphone.
When i open g pay app on Poco it says that i have to check device notification but there is no device notification....
I took a logcat that is pinned at the end of the post
In magisk, g pay app and google play services app are hided. I red somewhere that i have to disable some permissions of google play sevices (contacts, phone, etc.). After that, there are device notifications such as "google play services needs contacs permission..." and so. But after giving that permission, google pay says "please check device notifications".
The last thing that i have discovered out is, that my device does not have "play protect certification". So i try to register the device on this google register website with google services framework id but it tells me that the id is already registered... But play store is only showing "play protect certification: device i s not certified"
Can someone help?
Thanks
