I Have an Xperia Z2 (D6503) Running Resurrection Remix Oreo Latest Version 6.0 and Also TWRP Recovery Latest + Magisk v16
authentication problem on a old D-Link DL-524.
Tried connecting to 3 other routers, auth works.
Password is 100% correct ( taken directly from router sofware )
My ticwatch E ( android wear) can connect to the router ( it took the password from my phone saved networks)
So idk whats wrong, maybe because its an older G only route
Please Provide any solutions that worked if you have the same problem or any video or link i can read

Today I can't find a solution with the tether interface in my new XTOUCH X1, a chinese brand that have branches in EA. When I use the tether interface (WI-Fi or USB) my computer can connect to my smartphone, but the message limited connetivity has displayed. I can't surf in the net.

- I've tried to install Wifi Tether treve Mod and it fails on enabling MSS Clamping.
- I've also used other app for tethering but still not working.
- The DHCP server is working, beacuse the PC can get the IP Address.

Is there any way to permanently change the mac address on my phone, evidently there is a bug in cm that causes the mac address not to be properly read and so a temp address, 00:90:4c:c5:12:38, is used. Problem is I just updated my z2 tablet to a lollipop rom and now both my phone and tablet have that same Mac address causing issues when I connect to my WiFi at home with both of them. This issue was also on the nexus 5 but was supposedly fixed so I'm hoping that a fix will come soon but in the meantime I'm trying to find a work around.
I'm currently on illusion 5.5 using the 777 kernel with multi rom, it sounds like it would be an issue on any cm based rom though, as I'm using a different rom on my tablet. Does anyone else have this Mac address, 00:90:4c:c5:12:38, on their phone or is it just me?
Dont do on lollipop it will brake you wifi and everything else only do kitkat lg
So there is no way to change my Mac address on lollipop then?
Not that I know of I mean you can try pryfi if you want but the beta i did and it didn't work but it did in the stock rom. I just don't think it's a good idea.

What did you do? Is your mac address the same as the on mentioned in the op, is it a stock or cm based rom? I found an app that works for me for now, it's only temporary but it works in a pinch when my tablets mac reverts back to the bugged one mentioned in the op.

Even though im very far behind the time, I figured if anyone needed this theyd see this. To change my mac address i installed xposed on my phone and a module called hijack suite free. From there you can spoof your mac persistently. Ive rebooted many times and i still have my spoofed mac. None of the other methods and apps have worked for my device this is the first. Im using the d850 on cm 12.1 with stock cm kernel

Hi , I have a strange problem with my OP X. When I connect my OP X CM 13.0 21.08.2016 build with 'Lyf phone hotspot' the hotspot get restarted randomly. Then I switched to OOS 2.2.2 it is working fine. I connected with other phones and laptop it is working fine. I visited Lyf care and they also said Lyf phone is working fine they also didn't have any problems.
Plz help me to solve my problem. Screen recording of Lyf phone is attached.

Hi,
This is probably due to mismatched Region in Wifi settings or maybe your phone asks for a static IP incompatible with the Lyf Hotspot.
Under Wifi settings on your phone, make sure the region is set to India and also make sure that your phone gets IP automatically using DHCP.

its the problem with your lyf phone, the hotspkt is fluctuating due to a bug(watch your video). To fix the bug change(in your lyf mobile) the ipv4/ipv6 in access point name to only ipv4.

As The Title Says ..I Have a Problem with wifi and that is ..It Drops (Disconnects) Automatically a lot When Using Youtube or playing online games pretty much on any online activity and it became really annoying cause also it doesn't reconnect quickly
This Happens on Both My 2.4GHz Router And the 5GHz one
I tried Flashing a different Rom (Unofficial Lineage OS v15) But that didn't work out and still stuck with the same problem
Also Tried Getting Back to stock android rom
It Happens on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Version
But It Disappears on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop or at least becomes way less frequent and unnoticeable
PS* Rom Was Flashed On Stock 5.0.2
* I didn't Activate any kind of battery saving
*I Never tried using Mobile data so I Don't know if that happens
Please Provide any solutions that worked if you have the same problem or any video or link i can read

Hi guys. I have a problem with my mi pad 4. I have a problem with the 5 GHz wifi that is no longer displayed in the networks available with rom pie. let me explain. with the RoM 10 MiU the wifi networks 5 are perfectly detected. I installed the ROM pie (AEX havoc). the 5 GHz wifi appeared good at the beginning. then for some unknown reason I was disconnected from the 5 GHz network. resettlement. network reset ... flash rom pie I can not see any 5 GHz wifi network anymore. I reinstall a rom MIU in 8.1 global wifi is present. the problem is under the rom pie. if you have any solutions please ?

thanks to dev. This is the only Pie ROM that does not have this problem in wifi alone without a SIM card.
Right, because the needed change which I referred to is included in this version.
Changing the "control channel" on the router fixed it for me. I suppose this the workaround. The fix is in that wificountrycode parameter.
