[Q] Not enough current to turn on LCD?

Hello everybody!
I have an LCD issue with my phone. It seems that whenever the phone goes into sleep or deep sleep, if I push the power button to turn it on and unlock the screen, the LCD would not turn on. The digitizer does work and I am able to unlock, but the screen is black.
After this happens I can get into Recovery and Download modes without taking out the battery (just rebooting, using the power button), but the Phone mode would still stay black. To work around this I usually let it sit without the battery for 10-15 minutes and then it all comes back fine, until the next sleep
This does not seem to be a firmware issue, as it happens with stock and custom firmwares.
1. Has anybody tried to reflow their Vibrant board? I suspect that there are some bad soldering points on the board which cannot bare LCD startup currents. The LCD starts to work fine after the board is cooled down.
2. How can I turn off the Deep Sleep?
I figured that another non-invasive workaround at this point is to turn off deep sleep and keep the phone running at a higher Voltage. Which partially worked for me, I increased the Voltage for 100-400Mhz modes and that let me run the phone fine, I was able to turn the phone back on after it goes to sleep. However I was not able to prevent the phone from going into the Deep Sleep yet.
Thanks,
CJ

HP Touchpad and Deep Sleep - Any way to stop?

So, I can't be the only one having this issue. I have 2 HP Touchpad 32GB refurbs I bought from HP last year. Both are loaded with ICS and the Bricked kernel. Anyway, I've tried every build of CM I could find on XDA, and both my touchpads have the same issue of going into deep sleep after sitting for ~2 minutes without use. Instead of the normal pressing of the power button to wake them, I have to hold the power and home button for 15 seconds every time I leave them alone. I can set CM to always stay awake in dev mode, but that is not a solution. Does anyone have this problem or have a solution? If this persists I'm going to have to get rid of them as they are virtually useless. Thanks!
Try increasing the min cpu to 300 and see if that helps.

Huge Scary Battery Drain on Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4

HI, so recently my SM-T700 was updated to 5.02 and at first it was great. Then I noticed when I put it to sleep, the soft keys lights would sometimes stay on
even when i had it on power saver mode. The only way to turn it back off was to turn off and on power saver mode again. Next I noticed on the bus yesterday that
my bag was really warm and found out that it was coming from my tablet. I opened it and saw that it was 17% but when I first put it in my bag, it was 51%. I know for sure
that I put my tablet to sleep just before packing it in my bag. Also, I have an automatic wake and sleep feature with my case so might that be the problem? Also I am rooted!
Thanks! I hope this get's fixed soon!
Update:
So i recently found out that my dad's Samsung Galaxy S5 is also having the same problem as me after upgrading to lollipop. He puts it down and after like an hour he picks it up and finds that
the phone is hot and a 20% battery drain.

e2303 sleep (screen off) reboot

I have two of these (e2303), couple of months old and both have had the same problem, since unboxing. When the phone is sleeping it will reboot itself after 30 minutes, hour, two or more (and you won't hear that startup sound, as with normal reboot, just the boot animation). When the WIFI is turned on, reboots are more frequent, and with mobile data only (WIFI off), reboots are less frequent, anyhow the phone doesn't reach more than 30 hours uptime ever. The phone will never reboot while it is being used, screen on, it happens only when the screen is off. This all looks similar to the Nexus 4 sleep of death problem, however e2303 does not get frozen in sleep, it will just reboot instead.
Running latest firmware for e2303, .111.

After a while the phone display stops working

So, I thought my phone display stopped working. A week later I tried to plug it in power source and charge it - the phone display started working again. After 10 minutes the phone screen turned black again and even restart doesn't get it back on. Everything works, just the display keeps doing this. The backlighting works. Does anyone know how to fix this? I do not have a removable battery.
