Hi Community!
I was wondering if it is possible to get qi wireless charging for honor 7, but not with an adapted qi mate at the outside of the honor 7 case but inside the housing. But how?
My ideas are:
- change the back metal cover of the honor 7 to a plastic case
- install a qi charging mate inside the housing
- alternative: install a plastic back cover that already has qi charging included
Do you know if this is possible? if yes, do you know solutions for this issue?
Many thanks!

I have the Samsung OEM Wireless charging pad and a QI receiver pad set up...
With my S3, I was able to charge through an Otterbox case. With the Note 3 and a UAG case, it isn't able to charge without connecting/disconnecting. Is this an issue with the receiver or would a new charging pad make a difference? I was already looking at the LuguLake...
Thanks for any suggestions!

Try to take out some adhesives from the qi receiver in specific the ones that facing the backplate and try again. I don't have the original pad but 2 cheapo eBay ones and 3 receivers and all combinations work fine with any case including Spigen or a leather fat portfolio that I have.

maybe the charging current is not enough for note 3 if you have installed them at right position.
i think that the charging current of note 3 need to be bigger than s 3.
Can someone else comment on this? I'd like to snatch up the Samsung wireless charging kit, but I use a Spigen case. Has anyone had any luck using the official charging kit with an aftermarket case? Thanks.
Have you tried it without the UAG case?
The Nexus 5/7 has Qi charging built-in and will stick to the magnetic Nexus Wireless Charging Pad.
I have seen this for the Note 3 that will add Wireless charging: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GMRXD9U/
and this magnetic car dock that comes with a metal plate: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DPMNNUO/
Is it possible to add both to the Note 3 without changing to a thicker battery cover?
I would like to know also. Can anyone advise? Thanks in advance..
I just spoke to another user via PM.
Apparently the nGroove Snap holds the phone pretty well using just the official Samsung Wireless Charging Cover, without an additional metal plate. Looking at pics online, i can see that there's some more metal in that cover, maybe that's why it works.
I had also read about people putting the metal plate behind their batteries - but I have no idea how thick it actually is.
The second one is good.
anyone knows of a similar pass through coil in Uk, i mean ebay UK or amazon.
Would a Z1 charging case fit the Z2? I can't find a charging case for Z2.

Since no fitted Z1 case fits the Z2 if say it's safe to assume not. Handtec & Clove have OEM wireless charging cases listed but no pics yet.

They don't have details yet on them other then it's a wireless charging case to charge on a charging pad.

I haven't seen any of the better-known brands offering a extended battery case yet. Maybe once it's rolled out worldwide.
DiY charger case
That Sony case is planned to be relatively expensive ~85 Euro
I'm thinking of building my own QI charger case,
my idea in a nutshell;
- buy cheap magnetic charging cable and Qi wireless charger receiver for eg Samsung S3 at dx.com
- rip apart the magnetic cable to only save the magnetic part and the contacts
- Solder the contacts with thin wires to the Qi receiver.
- Fiddle this all nice and snug in a wallet style cover
The old Battery case for the Z1 fits the phone. The ports are off though.
Preordered my phone yesterday and now i'm looking for some case. I think that I will go with some "wallet" case. Does somebody now good case in this gategory which support wireless charging ? This type of cases look's so thick, that does wireless work with these ?
Wireless Charging should not be a big issue in a case, it mostly just depends on the quality of the Charger.
There are several posts here about the Case Mate folio stand case, with good reviews. It is reported that the case works with wireless qi chargers, and, for the most part, it is favorably reviewed. It is also fairly slim, if a low profile is important to you.
I recommend you not to buy a flip case if you frequently use wireless charger!
Hi,
I recommend not to use any flip case. Yes, wireless charging may interrupt sometime if you use flip case. It also reduces the charging efficiency of device. So better not to buy a flip case if you frequently use wireless charger to charge your device.

I have used only wireless charger with my nexus 5, and will do same with N6. Well, maybe I have to forget wallet cases. Thanks anyway !
I have to confirm that the Caseology case (below) and the Powerbot Qi charger (below) work together. It's nice not having to remove my case to charge my phone anymore! :good:
I have to remind everyone that the case does not come with the special charging sticker the LG G3 needs to to have wireless charging. I bought that sticker online from China (Amazon) and installed it myself to the back cover the LG G3 came with. The other external cases I had did not allow the phone to charge wirelessly, so I was forced to remove them before placing on the charging pad.
