Amazfit Bip ios HR - Amazfit

Hey, i just received my Bip and synced correctly with iPhone, but when i workout at gym or somewhere, it doesnt save the HR to calculate the burned calories and other aspects, is there any app or something? Because I think that the Bip only uses GPS to estimate pace, but not the HR monitoring.
Sorry for my English, hope you understand.

As far as I know, all Amazfit watches record HR during activities: BIP, Pace and Stratos. They won't use it for calories burnt for common steps (not in any activity) so far. Are you sure your HRM is working? Can you get an individual measurement with the watch?

How can i access to that measurement with ios? Through the health app or with the mi fit app?

You don't need the app to check if it's working, simply do a manual measurement using the watch. Can you get a value? Does it look reasonable?
But to answer your question, MiFit should display all HRM data after a sync, at least this is how it works with Pace and Amazfit app.

Yes, i did a manual measuremente and got 53, but for example, i workout without running, and with 1 hour of training it says 2-3 calories burned, and that is not logic.

If you get bad HRM then it will result in non logic calories burnt data as well... And if you get bad HRM with other person using the watch then probably it has a bad HR sensor and should be replaced.

No, i think the measurement its correct, i tried with several persons and the HBR is correct, but its not used for burned calories, or i dont know how to apply it.

Amazfit watches use a very basic algorithm to calculate burnt calories due to daily steps, it doesn't use HR, even if continuous HRM is on. HR is only used for recorded activities (and even then it seems to be underestimated).

Gym for Amazfit

It's possible add a activity for gym workout in amazfit?
I'd be very interested in having that as well. As of now, with firmware 1.3.4f, the list of activities that you can track is really short: Run, Walk, Run indoor, Bike, Bike indoor, Trail run and Elliptical. When I used to have the MiBand 2, I'd have continuous HR on and track circuit training in Endomondo. Now, unfortunately, I am unable to do any of that
Any ideas if there's a way to:
- add more sports activities to the Sports tab?
- track circuit workouts in any way, ie in Endomondo?
Thanks

Continous HR is available in Amazfit, whats stopping you from doing what you were doing earlier?
Well if I log a circuit workout in Amazfii it doesn't get exported to Strava. I think I read somewhere that it only exports workouts where you get GPS fix, ie. when you're outside. Other than that, I'm too cheap to pay 50 bucks for premium Strava if I had that for free in Endomondo...
I'm in a similar boat, don't really want to pay premium strava, but thought that maybe I could use the "Elliptical" training mode for my gym workouts to track time and heart rate. I didn't realise you couldn't upload the workout itself somewhere after training though to analyse the heart rate graph if you wanted to for example.
@kopaczus, how do you currently track / log your gym and circuit sessions?

You are not the first that want's the non GPS activities
Thank you @fzelle
I don't have a watch yet, doing my research but I'll definitely look into this.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants non GPS activities or gym workouts. Hope this at least resolves the strava integration!

Although non GPS activities are not uploaded to Strava they can still sync to the Amazfit App so you have a record on your phone of riding time average HR and kCal burn.
Yeah, but that's useless if you have all your workouts in a single tracking app - Endomondo for me - to analyze your performance and plan ahead. Amazfit app is okay, but doesn't cut it.

Stratos total daily distance

Hello, is there a way to see total daily distance on this watch? All I can see is the distance that I have made during workouts (walking, cycling...) and total daily steps. Also is there a way to get elevation gain in walk mode?
Thanks
Try the Prototype watchface, it shows all activities info. And what do you mean by "elevation gain in walk mode"?

Thanks for the reply but that it doesn't show total daily distance, only total daily sports distance and total sports distance....
Ah, I see... Total daily only using the app AFAIK.
I can't see it in app also...
Please see attached pic.
That is all from your activity and that is not total daily that you have made.
I need total walking distance ... So combined walking distance, from activity and without activity.... See attached picture how it is done in Samsung health for example.
That screen shows the total distance in all activities that day. Pace/Stratos don't use steps for distance AFAIK, only calories burnt, so I guess you won't be able to get this using these devices.

As far as I'm concern, this no screen display of total distance (estimation) base on steps taken, and his is using pedometer right? Only total steps taken.
Yup. This is a normal view watchface for most of garmin devices. And I would love to see it on pace/stratos
So we need a watchface or app that can take your stride length and multiply it by your number of steps to give a distance.
There is a thread about .APK watchfaces
https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/apk-watchfaces-amazfit-pace-stratos-t3795749
You could suggest it there.
Really don't know how they didn't integrate total daily distance, every other fitness tracker has it (Fitbit,Garmin,Samsung...), Even amazfit Cor has it
Hi Guys, sorry for popping up
I use the Stratos with latest version, and cannot retrive the daily distance information
Is this related to the watchface that I use (eternal moment) ?
Any suggestions how can I track this data all-day?
Thanks

I have a Stratos. I found that if I install 'Notify & Fitness for Amazfit' alongside 'Amazfit Watch', I can see the distance in the Notify app. It seems kind of silly that I have to install two separate apps to see this information, but it's the only solution I have.

I just found this wf "https://amazfitwatchfaces.com/pace/view/4648" can show daily total distance. Seem data only available in apk but not wfz format. As seem we cannot find correct datatype in wfz.

Amazfit statos heart rare zones

Got the Wahoo tickr band with the Stratos and the watch shows 20bpm off with optical sensor.. My question, does the watch automaticly adjust and sense my fitness level? Cant find amy sittings for max heart rate in the amazfit app and how do I know its corect for me?
With Stratos you should be able to edit this in your profile page on Amazfit app.
I could before but now its gone after latest Amazfit app update. It was in chines... but still possible to figure out. Hopefully in comes back with next update or I will buy Garmin instead. Always the same thing with chines stuff, close to be good.

Amazfit BIP - Exercise feature crossfit training, activity and gym workout

Helo,
Is possible to add more sports activities to the Sports tab in Amazfit BIP?
I bought a BIP yesterday, I did not find there on the SPORT Exercise Activity menu, as it was in my previous MiBand3, now I can't train aerobics/crossfit. Is there any solution to this problem?

Thank you very much for your reply
I bought the BIP also to use in indoor cycling (Spining class or RPM) and now i can see that it cant track that... it's not that hard to implement this feature...
Any change about this after half a year? Maybe with a 3rd party app like Notify & Fitness?

No News? I've the same request, also to put a generic activity that recording the heart rate and Energy burned.
Nothing new? I Know that with notify & Fitness you can chose many different workout, but you have to take the Phone next to you in order to let Amazfit bip recording the activity.

The Amazfit smartwatches cannot estimate calories per day?!

I'm a new Amazfit GTR user, and it can estimate the calories burnt per day? It's showing very low values, I guess it's only measuring with steps.
If I start an exercise it will record continuously my calories with the heart rate, which is what I want, but I don't want to start an exercise to do it. Why not measure it during the day? If I'm not in an exercise it just count the steps calories. What a useless information lol. If I needed just the steps calories I'll just start an exercise.
Can someone confirm the Amazfit GTR can not estimate calories per day? If the Amazfit app doesn't shows it, there is another 3rd party apps that does it? I'm considering return this smartwatch
The Notify & Fitness app (Android) gives you a choice to display steps calories only or total calories (including those calculated from BMR) on its home screen.
I don't know offhand if it supports the GTR; I use it with my BIP.

Eric

Nice! Good to know there is a way out somehow. The problem is that I use iPhone so I didn't find this at the app store. There is a similar app to iOS?
Thank you!

Unfortunately, I don't know of any iOS app that has this feature.
Use Amazfit Watch app, if you are on iOS you can add its data to Apple Health, it does a good job. Just be aware that the data sync isn't done instantaneously, and the ios app only syncs if you open Amazfit app at least once a day, and sometimes you must "pull down" to actually sync and refresh the data from watch.
