Hi guys,
I purchased an Amazfit Stratos back in February when ENG version was released.
Unfortunately my first unit was plagued with Bluetooth issues and was replaced by the seller.
Anyways I also contacted Amazfit support and received a reply today, 3 months later LOL.
Apparently there is also a hidden "Lab mode" in the stock firmware and this is how it can be activated:
1. Go to "More Settings" in the smartwatch.
2. Under Settings, scroll down list and tap "About."
3. Under "About," scroll down to "Legal Statement."
4. Continuously tap on "Legal Statement" until "Lab" appears below it.
5. Tap on "Lab" and select "Signal Strength."
6. Tap "Start."
7. A Pass or Fail message will appear once the test is complete.
I have not tested this yet but thought it might be fun to know this "Lab" feature.
Does anyone know if this mode is also available in Android firmwares?

I used to be able to double tap my HOME button on my droid and it would automatically launch the VoiceTalk app while I was driving. Then I updated the firmware to allow for WI-FI calling and now it no longer launches the app. I can't figure out how to set it back up. So here I am posting to you great and all knowing people....looking for an answer. It is not a setting that I manually did, that I am aware of, as I have 2 of these phones and both of them have the same issue.
Thanks in advance!
Post Edit: I contacted T-Mobile and apparently, they removed it from the double tap feature and if you now hold down the search glass in the lower right hand corner, it will bring up 4 apps you can use. I still like the double tap feature, but might have to live with this change....
Hi there,
on my Moto 360 2nd gen it seems that the option to hide watch faces doesn't have any effect...
I followed these instructions:
1) Open the Android Wear app on your phone.
2) You will notice that the three most recently used watch faces are showing on the main page of the app. Tap the More button to show you all the watch faces that are pre-installed and that you downloaded from Google Play.
3) To hide any of them, just tap on the three dot menu at the top right of any of the watch face cards and select Hide on watch.
4) You will now notice that watch face is grayed out and it will no longer appear on your smartwatch. You can do this to as many watch faces as you want.
5) If you want to bring back any watch faces that you previous hid, just tap on the same three dot menu and select Show on watch.
But still I can see all the "disabled" watch faces on my watch...
Any suggestion is welcome (and yes I re-synched the watch after applying the changes)
UPDATE: rebooting the watch solved the issues (I also uninstalled Moto Connect from the phone)
Hi,
I had an issue recently where i couldn't click OK to create a VPN network as OK didn't work when tapping on it. Cancel worked fine. Not sure what to call the title but here goes.
Go to Settings/Apps in top right hand corner you will have 3 dots tap that then tap "Special Access" then tap on "Apps that can appear on top"
Now you will need to figure out which app to disable.
In my case i had substratum which can appear on top as its overlays and i also had another separate app that isn't an substratum theme but also works as overlays which is a battery bar on top of the screen that i had to disable and then my OK button worked and i was able to create a VPN network.
It was a ***** to figure out so if anyone is suffering from a similar issue then here's the fix.
Hello,
is it possible to add an app as an exception in Do Not Disturb mode? I have several webcams around the house and would like to be notified when something moves at night. Firmware 11.3.
And I have also a problem with Android auto that the phone must be unlocked to use it, correct?
Thank you in advance.

I cant use the app cause it asks me to update and if i dont it exits . I dont want to update . how to bypass the update pop up ?
I tried to clone the apk with newer version but the app freeze and doesnt start
Simply stop app's automatic update:
Step 1:
Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
Tap the Search Box at the top of the Play Store.
Enter the name of the app you are looking for and tap Search.
Step 2:
Tap on the app to open the listing.
Tap the three-dot overflow menu in the top right-hand corner.
Uncheck Enable auto update.
Once completed, that app will no longer automatically update, regardless of what your overall settings have been changed to.

Thanks for the reply .
The app is installed on my peloton bike , there is no google play store allowed
The app gives a message “update before using” and shuts down . There is not many options to try . I was thinking ti change the metadata so the app thinks it’s on a higher version so it passes the check
