Stratos continuous HR - Green leds don't go off. - Amazfit

In continuous HR monitoring, are green leds supposed to be blinking non stop even when not wearing watch?

My Pace , even with continuous HR off, keep the led's on.

If you put it face down and don't move it, it will stop after a while

How to get Smart Stay working?

Ok, so I've found the section in 'Display' and switched Smart Stay on, but it doesn't seem to do anything. The small eye icon never appears on the notification bar, and the function doesn't work. I've noticed that with auto-brightness the screen is pretty much always really dim, and I noticed that smart stay won't work when the room is dim - does the phone think the light's too low and never switches the function on?
Hmm, off to try...
It does state when you activate it that it wont work in low light
Yeah, so perhaps it's the auto-brightness that's at fault? Been in daylight today and with the lights on at home - screen's been dim 90% of the time...
Right i too thought smart stay wasnt working. I too never saw the eye.
BUT... Having played with it some more heres how it works well in my eyes anyway
The eye icon only appears when the light is at the end of its duration setting.
For example i set mine to 15 seconds beacuse i wasnt sure it was working.
So every 15 seconds if your looking at your phone the eye will flicker on.
If its set at a minute you rarely see it as 60 seconds is a pretty long time to look at the screen with out pressing ought.
I hope this makes sense. Just set light time out to 15 secs to see what i mean.

I thought it wasnt working properly since every now and again id spot this icon flashing up and going just as fast as it came on, but i figure, its a battery saving method, so it wouldnt permanetly be tracking your eyes with the camera like the xbox kinect for instance, it comes on for a split second, if it recognises eyes are open and looking it stays on if not it turns off... i tested this, changed screen dim to 15 seconds for test purposes, staired at it whilst on web browser and every 10 seconds the icon flashed up and screen stayed on, closed my eyes counted to 10 and the screen was off

[Q] Notification Light Problem?

Hi All,
I noticed that after not touching my phone for awhile (say an hour), any LED notifications for things such as email or missed texts don't light up the green notification light on my phone. It works great if my phone was somewhat used within say the last 30 minutes, but once I wake up in the morning and unlock my phone, I see my missed texts and at that time it lights up the green LED. I have all my LED notification settings set to on. Am I missing something? I hope this is not normal, otherwise what's the point with an LED light?
Well first thing...the device actually only will show a notification for 5 min w/ the blinking light. Then it just stops until the next one comes in.
You also could be experiencing the wifi data bug I am seeing...the one where you basically lose your connection to wifi just by being connected. It doesn't tell you that you have no data connection, it just randomly drops off.
Wow. Only 5 minutes? Is that normal for Android phones or is that an Sense thing? I've had other Android phones before in the past, but with no notification light.

[Q] LED Indicator won't stop flashing red

Was wondering if anyone has seen this or has any ideas on what to check.
Basically, the LED indicator on my S6E is blinking red every time I turn off the screen. I do not have any notifications and checked any app i can think of to check if there are any floating around. I then went through and disabled notifications one-by-one for each app and checked. No good. Then i reset all my app preferences and still no good. Tried restarting but that didn't help either.
Only thing that turns it off is turning off LED notifications all-together.
Any ideas?
Thanks

What's your battery level when this happens? Mine blinks red when the phone has low battery. Super annoying because it only uses more battery, but I can't turn it off.
well, think i figured it out. it's based on the power saving mode. i threw mine to 50% because why the hell not.
once you hit that power saving mode threshold, the you start getting the red blinking indicator. and the fun part is, if i'm at 40% but my threshold is at 50% BUT i have power saving mode off, it will still blink. so that threshold is active despite the current status of power saving mode.
and i agree. super annoying.

It works on my Sprint Galaxy S6 Edge if I turn off the LED Indicator all together it will stop the blinking, But I agree if you leave it on whether battery saver off or on it still blinks must be something in he OS code that makes it remind you that the battery is low. Kinda strange but for now I will just turn off the LED indicator.
Thanks again for your input it was very helpful.

LED Light Won't Stop Blinking

I have an LG G3 Stylus running CM 12 (5.1.1). Whenever I restart my phone my led notification light flashes as if I have a notification but I don't. The led continues to blink abnormally for about a day until it stops. Then it functions as normal, only blinking when there actually is a notification.
I need help on finding out what's causing my led to blink. I downloaded Light Flow to see what was causing it but it always said no active notification.

AOD or no AOD on GTR 47

Hi All,
I got this watch for it's design and look, when I read about an AOD function and the way people react to this function it was a plus to buy it.
Than I got confused about using a AOD. You can see the time with the AOD but as soon that you turn the wrist, the regular watch face turn on, so you barely see the AOD screen.
I tried to turn off the wrist action to keep only the AOD all the time, but it doens't stay on 24 hours, I notice that when I got to bed the AOD was turn off and will not turn on.
thank you.

The AOD will turn off if the watch detects there's no movement to save battery power. I think that the interval is 5 minutes.
Pressing a button will turn the watch on and then when screen goes off, the AOD will show up again.

That's what I figured out, it would be excellent if the AOD could turn on back by itself when you wake up . :good:
thank you Surf_Dude.
I wounder if their is a place were you can ask or discuss with Amazfit (Huami) for add-ons like this?

There is a forum where you can discuss/request things, but it's in Chinese and the moderator(s) is not very helpful, all that he does is to say people to check their private messages https://bbs.huami.com/
Accessed it with chrome(setting to translate Chinese to English), but can't login with mi account to post, I get an error. Guess outsiders aren't welcome.
