amazfit bip wont turn on - Amazfit

Hi guys not sure if this is the right thread so i apologize in advance. Any how i got the amazfit bip watch a few days go and used it for a couple of days then after a day or to it wouldn't reconnect to my phone so i decided to unpair it then i did a factory reset. After doing the factory reset of my bip from the watches menu, the watch no longer boots up. I have tried to put it on the charger to force wake the screen / boot it up but didn't get anything. i have also left it for 2 days and tried again and i didnt get anything when i tried to boot it up. I am wondering if there are any other ways to boot it up, i really like this watch and am sad i cant use it.

It's dead. On some firmware versions after factory reset the CH version of the watch stucks in a bootloop and there's no way to bring it back to life.

That sucks, any how i gave up and sent it back for a replacement. I hope amazfit will rectify this regardless of which version of the watch.

Galaxy SII BLACK SCREEN - DOESN' T TURN ON

HI First time here for me.
I was surfing the net on my t989 and the screen went black. I try to restart but the phone vibrates for one second and nothing happens. I took out the battery and SIM card and put back the battery, push ON button, phone vibrates but do not start. I try to charge but it vibrates every 5 seconds, but it doesn't start. The phone is new - one month - just install 9-10 aplications. Please help. Thanks
Same thing happened to my SGS..power IC was damaged in mine.

Have you underclocked/undervolted it at any stage? If so, try using ODIN to restore to stock, if you can even get into Download Mode. If not, send it into a Samsung Service Center.
Yes it sounds like it is not charging and the battery is flat! With the phone OFF you should briefly see a picture of the battery when you plug the phone into the charger.
Try putting in a fully charged battery from an another S2.
Can you get to Download mode (Powered off, press Vol up+Home+Power at the same time) or Recovery mode (Powered off, press Vol up+Home+Power)? If not, then you're in really bad waters...
Hi,
Thank you for your answer. I did't do anything to this phone since I bought it. Just 9 apps dowloaded. Worked fine and yesterday it got dead. I just do light web surf and some emails. Do you have any idea, please? I hate to have to returned since I'm in Canada and I couldn't even register this phone with samsund.com sice it is allowed only US addresses.

If you can't even get into Download Mode, as detailed above, really you're out of options for the most part. Looks like returning it is your only option.

Luckily for you, as you haven't messed with it, you still have warranty.

Bootloop or not?

Guys, I need your help.
So, I just received a call with my phone while driving and after a while? I realize no activity. I check & see that it is stuck on the "your device software can't be checked for corruption"
If I remove the battery, put it back & connect the charger, it charges & shows charge progress.
I can get into the factory reset using hardware keys but I can't get to TWRP.
I removed the sdcard and everything seems to be intact without corruption.
There was this one time it got in for some few minutes then restarted to verification stage.
It doesn't overheat.
Bootloop or just maybe os/recovery failure??
well if it keeps doing it probably but if not idk. so mine i was browsing the internet with firefox then it randomly restarted it did not feel hot so i pulled the battery and restated it and every time it would get stuck at the device software can not be checked for corruption and would stay there for 2-3 min then restart and it would do it again. Thats how mine went into bootloop. i left it on for 1 hour and was able to get it to boot in android for 30 sec but then resarted and could no longer get in to os. i could only get it in fastboot and factory reset(which did nothing).
Mine started randomly rebooting a few weeks ago. I just exchanged mine the other day. I would advise you to try and backup any important data now if you can or get it off the phone. I like my v10 but I'm disappointed in LG for having such a widespread problem like this.

As nothing worked for me & LG was being difficult, I have dumped the phone for now (will probably resurrect it when the MoBo is available).
I purchased a Huawei Mate 9 four days ago and I'm very glad i did.
Thanks everyone.

Battery indicator stuck at 92%

Hello guys,
Had my Moto 360 2015 since x-mas 2015.
Thursday last, I was trying to force the update to AW2.0 through the green checkmark, and finally got an update. Pressed "Yes" to proceed and noticed the watch rebooted into recovery. I was going to bed, so I decided to let it continue and check back in the morning.
The next morning, I found my watch rebooted and still on AW1.5, but now the battery indicator is stuck at 92%. Whatever I do, the watch always says 92%, from the moment I take it off its charger to the moment it dies. The watch works perfectly besides that. But I'm worried about the battery, since the watch does not "respond" to low battery states.
The Wear app on my phone reports the same thing, 92%, constant...
What I tried so far:
1 - Rebooting the watch again
2 - Factory reset from watch interface
3 - Factory reset from Wear app on phone
4 - Factory reset from recovery
5 - Let the watch die by itself and recharge it to full again.
No change.
Now the AW2.0 update passed, and I noticed that it did not go into recovery this time. I thought maybe the update would fix things, but no dice. Still 92%.
Tried all steps outlined before in AW 2.0, save the recovery one. I'm unable to do anything in recovery, since the only thing that seems to be functional is the hardware button. I'm unable to swipe up/down to select options.
I have contacted Lenovo Support, and they told me there are no other troubleshooting steps after what I already did, and my watch is out of warranty, at which point they offered to evaluate the watch for 35$. The CC card I used to buy the thing has warranty extension, but before going through them, I'm looking for somebody that maybe experiences the same thing as I am.
Now, either the fuel gauge IC got stuck/fried somehow and is always reporting the same thing, or something happened to the bootloader during the first "update" that broke something. I'm betting on the latter for now. I've looked for instructions to do a complete wipe, that is, including recovery to reflash the whole thing, but got nothing interesting. No USB port does not help either, and I don't have the sklls to JTAG the thing, if it's even possible.
Anybody would have suggestions?
I have this exact same problem. Any solutions?
Usually on mobile phones this can be fixed through a custom recovery "resetting" the battery stats. Anyone knows if something like this is possible? No usb port might be the reason I cant find any methods for this...
Hi guys, I have the same issue, stuck at 70 %. Did you find any solution ?

[Amazfit BIP/Youth]: Not turning on FIX

This is for those who has experienced the issue of having their Amazfit Bip watch not turning on after FW update. If you found any solution or a way to do a hard reset on the device, please share here. As for it's big brother, the Amazfit Pace, there is a way to enter bootloader by holding the hardware button while it's connected to the charger. I was hoping there is a way of doing it to the Bip as well. Sadly, the Bip cannot be connected to a computer to access its internals like it's big bro.
None anyone? I guess it's off to the trash then.
There is probably no solution. Here's what I got from Amazfit support:
Hello Amazfit User,
Thank you for contacting Amazfit.
We are very sorry that you have trouble with your device.
Where and when did you purchase your device?
Have you ever flashed its firmware by a third party tool?
If the screen turned off, please charge it to have a try.
If it doesn't work, please remove the device from the charger, put it on the table, make it untouched for 24-48 hours to let the battery drains and then charge it to see if it solves the issue.
If your issue persists, please get touch with the seller to return the device to have it examined.
Thank you for your understanding!
Sincerely,
Amazfit Support

Yup. Got that same exact thing from them. I've tried the battery drain several times but to no avail. Please update me in this thread if ever you get the chance to get yours fixed if you are experiencing the same tragedy. :fingers-crossed:

No luck so far. Been leaving it unused for a month then recharge. Bluetooth still detects it but watch is not turning on anymore. I guess it's officially dead. RIP
Hello,
i have a bricked Amazfit BIP so i decided to open it up.
I saw there is a Winbond 25Q64FWIQ flash onboard, so i'm wondering if anyone has a flash dump to try to reflash mine with a chip programmer
I just had this issue. Amazfit Bip shows charging indication when plugged in to charger. But it doesn't respond to button press and the screen turns blank as soon it get disconnected from charger. I found a solution to reset. simply put it to charging and then try to press button using a needle or pin or you can slowly take watch out from the charging pad ,press button when it's out , it'll light up and shows the touch working by going through settings. You can select reset by this method. This worked for me. I even tried to throw it up and down to floor if I wonder something internally got messed but I solved like this charging method.

maybe it´s a low battery ?
I know that you can reset the watch, I´ve forgot how.
Hey, I have a GTR 2, and at first I thought that the bootloop issue is software based. That can be easily fixed if you put the watch on the charger as it can finish loading even with a corrupted watchface installed.
In my case however, the watch only worked for a short time after I've put it in the freezer. That is a hardware issue. All that can be done is to get it replaced by the store that sold it to you, or in case that option is not available to you, you need to actually heat the board over 300C so that, hopefully, the bad connection is fixed (mobile repair shops can actually help with that).
As a test: put device in freezer, connect, reset, whatever, then shutdown the watch.
Wait for the watch to reach room temperature (non working state). If it's a hardware bootloop, the watch will not react to any buttons, will not show he charging animation, nothing. Basically black screen.
I also tried removing the battery for 10 seconds, holding any combination of buttons, charging states, screen presses, so simply don't waste time with that.
Every electronic equipment has a failure rate of 0-5%, we just happened to buy those 0 to 5% watches.
From what I understand, it is a design error and some contacts on the circuit board may not make contact...
