You may use the hidden RESET key (in hole) for menu navigating and item selection or connect USB HID keyboard to HeadUnit

Hi guys,
So I bought myself 2x ACHO C908 tablets during my stay in HongKong.
However, only one of them are able to enter recovery mode by holding down Volume- and the poweron button at the same time.
The tablet not being able to proceed just stucks at the first logo of the boot, namely "ACHO".
So my question is if you think this is software or hardware related?
The reason I want to enter recovery mode is because I want to do a factory reset, the tablet not being able to enter recovery mode gives me an error on boot saying I need to do a default settings reset.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

I would say it depends on the software
Probably there was a error while flashing the recovery image

Sry for my late answer i was away a while
jap u could flash your stock rom via odin or adb just search in the xda forums how this works
if i remmber right in odin there is a optin wich lets u flash only the stock recovery
(you migh also flash a custom recovery like cmw if its available for u tablet)

Thanks for the reply.
I can't use "Odin" because I'm not able to boot into Android? So I can't use it?
And I can't use "ADB" either, because I can't boot into Android so I can't turn on "USB Debugging".
Any other guesses? :/
Thanks

Hi there,
After rather stupidly changing my dpi settings to play a game on my prime, I was presented with a boot loop. After reading around I discovered that it was possible to restore by a Micro SD card. Unfortunately the slot in my device is jammed with an existing card and I can't remove it, is there any other way to restore the device to working order?
Additional information:
The device was rooted by a friend, and unfortunately I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to using the Android SDK, is there any way of pushing a fresh build.prop to the device?
Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.

You arent unlocked are you?
Try this
Hold your power button and Volume down key during power up, you should see some white text appear. Release both buttons and press volume down again. You should get three options. choose the one to the very left "Factory Reset"

It won't help, build.prop is in /system.
The only solution is adb, if debug option is on evidently.

Same problem, anyone can help?
I understand how to flashmy GoClever Tab R75 (Horrible device I know, but still) like just putting the files into the device and switching on and whatnot but I dont know how to edit the img file to add a command to clear data partition, could anyone possibly do this for me or provide me with a tutorial on how to do this please? If you need the download link to the R75 file with the .img file message me as I cannot post links yet!
If you dont understand what I mean: I have 2 files now which if I put into my device will update the firmwire and whatever but I need it to clear the data partition so it will delete all information.
Thanks!
Can anyone help or at least point me in the right direction?

Hi
Why you want to edit img files to clear data ? Just use recovery to factory reset
To go to recovery ->
1. Turn OFF your tablet
2. Press and hold Volume UP button and Power Button simultaneously, wait until you see the dead android.
3. Press the power Button to go to recovery Mode.
4. Hold the power button and tap the volume UP (you will see the android system recovery menu.)

:crying:
hi, I am Brazilian, so my English is bad...
My problem starts when my volume buttons no longer work (hardware problem), and must use cwm to exchange kernel / rom ...
until then thought it would be impossible to enter the recovery mode, but then met the ADB, and the command "adb reboot recovery" could go into recovery mode ...
but is only possible to navigate using the volume buttons, with the exceptions touch versions of cwm (and from what I saw in the pictures tqrp also allows touch)
does anyone know how can I do?
and finally, if anyone can help me, I will be grateful Many Voices

Flash TWRP instead. It's way better, and navigation is done via touch screen and not via volume buttons (which I hate using even when they are functional).
And you can boot to recovery mode if you enable advanced reboot menu. There are many ways to do so, depending on your ROM. I have GravityBox, so it's enabled via one of the options there.
