I'm about to buy a new phone and I'm considering the Huawei mate 10 Pro.
However, it's very important for me that the phone can record the calls when I call via my Bluetooth headset.
On many different phones this is a problem. Is it an issue on this phone as well or does it record calls on bluetooth just fine?
And does it work if I do not root it?
Boldbeast recorder works fine on my Mate 10 and it's not a rooted phone. Never tried it with Bluetooth call though.

I had purchase last month the new HUAWEI Y6 SCL-L04 White; 8GB edition.
I've try 4 differents Bluetooth headsets and some of my contacts reports that my voice are getting Robotize during calls. My Contacts need to hangup and recall and problems solved for couple of minutes.
I've test 4 differents headsets : Jabra Supreme+, Jabra Supreme, Jabra Freeway, and Toyota Corolla 2015 bluetooth.
Does anyone has experience same issue or know how to resolve this issue? It may be a driver of codec issue, but it's really painfull to use a cellphones without a bluetooth headset.
Please note, it's not a Network issue, Network are full and properly worked if not using bluetooth.

I already root my Huawaei mate 10 pro to record my daily calls. Whatever i try i always get only one side as a record and i am searching for a solution.
I make my calls over a bluetooth headset and this records are very important because some tecnical settlement must be documented.
I know that Android normally only allowed one side but with my former Huawei Mate 9 it was no problem.
If there any possibility to make it possible with a rooted Mate 10 pro?

Hi everyone
I have a big problem with my Huawei p smart 2019. Since a few days I'm not able to call someone because when I speek my voice is not heared by the call partner, only when I turn on the speaker. All other things works fine WhatsApp records and sound memos. I don't know what's the issue here. I tried already a hard reset but It didn't work. The phone is new a few month old.
Any Idea?

Hello everyone, I'm having the following problem, whenever I'm using my Lypertek Tevi (aptx bluetooth in-ear headphones) for listening to music and then receive or make a call, the phone crashes, i cant hear the other person or that person to me, also I need to disconnect them and connect them again in order to use them. I'm running Android 9 stock, have tried with other roms, same problem, try other phones like Redmi Note 7, iPhone 7 plus and LG G6 no problem at all, also tried on a Mi A2 on Stock Android 10 and it worked, like in the devices mentioned before. I would appreciate if anyone can help me. Thanks.

My family owns two devices: Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and 9 Pro (global). The 9 Pro running LineageOS 19.1 and the 9S still running LineageOS 18.1.
If I make a call between both devices with the standard phone app everything is fine. The microphone and earpiece is working and I can switch to the Loudspeaker on both devices - works.
If I make a call between both devices with either Nexcloud Talk or Conversations (the XMPP/Jabber app) using the earpiece is fine - the microphone works. If I switch on the Loudspeaker on both devices (for example with a video call) the sound distorts with high frequency sizzle noices. You cannot understand anything. It seems echo cancellation or some other thing heavily kicks in. Video Calls are not possible as they always enable the loudspeaker.
I can make a call to some other device and it works, even a video call, but not between the two Note 9 devices. Some device feature is escalating between those Note 9 devices.
As the loudspeaker is working between both devices if I use the standard phone app (a call via SIM card not the internet), the configuration between the phone app and the other apps seem to differ.
Does anybody know what's the difference between the phone app and the others? Is the phone app using some other configuration? Is there some other android features or sound devices used? Some other API?
