[Petition] Bring back BL unlock site - Huawei P20 Lite Questions & Answers

As you know huawei removed the unlock website so you cannot get the code unless you pay dc unlocker or get the code via Huawei's email.
Sign this petition if you want the site back

But it doesn't guarantee that bootloader will return (if the petition does reach the goal of 1000 signatures)?

Is there a reliable WiFi Hotspot app for the Consumer Cellular version of the HAM2?

I've tried a few hotspot apps, but can't seem to get one to work. Is there one that works with the CC HAM2 on KitKat? I hate having to put my sim in my Sony Xperia C4 just to used the hotspot option.

nope! i, like you, had tried them all. CC variant made it impossible to enable hotspot. recently i flashed my phone to the stock oem rom, and that OS has the option to enable hotspot- no need to download an app.

Oh sweet! Do you have a link to the stock OEM ROM? And do I have to be rooted to flash it or have a custom recovery?

So Huawei has an online tool now that gives unlock codes instantly on their website. It required me to register, log in, and it's SUPPOSED to take me to a portal that asks for the phone model, product ID, imei, and aerial number, but it goes to a Chinese website and says"server too busy..." every time I try to access it. I saw a lot of other people had the same issue.
I emailed Huawei requesting my bootloader unlock code and they responded within an hour. I included my imei, product ID , serial number, and model number in the email. Their response wasn't very helpful, as they dont seem to understand that their website is having issues like I stated in the email to them, hence why I emailed requesting it. I even called their US Tech Support line and they refused to give me a bootloader unlock code because it voids the warranty.
Their email response said:
Dear User,
Huawei Customer Service is pleasure to be at your service, sorry to bring you the trouble,if you want to unlock your phone, you should meet these conditions as follow:
1.Please register your Huawei ID in our official website http://huawei.com/en/ on your phone.
2.Log in your Huawei ID for continuously 14 days.
3.Each Huawei ID should not apply for the unlock code more than twice within half years. If you meet the information, please go to http://emui.huawei.com/en/ and click the 'download'button to login your Huawei ID other than any other third party ID to apply for the unlock code. Please contact us by mail or local service hotline as following if error message appears.
TEL: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/index.htm?tag=hotline
Mail: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/index.htm?tag=email
Please submit your mobile model, SN, IMEI/MEID and erro message in your e-mail.We also need to know that your phone is rooted, it can be out of the best working state and part of functions may not be able to work normally. In additon, the system is vulnerable to be invaded by viruses once your phone is permitted to unlock. What's more, for the lacking of fully tested, the third party software will not be compatible with your phone. Unlocking will bring unexpected negative impacts and the device will be not normal, and can not be restored, Huawei after-sales service office will not provide warranty service for your rooted phone, and you may bear the cost. So we strongly advise you to think it twice.
If you have any other problems, please send your feedback to us. We will be at your service to help you to solve your problems.
Once again thank you for contacting Huawei device.
Best Regards.

How can i unlock bootloader

Last month I tried to make unlock bootloader through Huwaei website. They made difficulties, did not respond to emails, and in the end, after July 24, they did not allow the opening of the bootloader.
Is there another method to make bootloader opening?
additional information
I am also interested in unlocking that bootloader and contacted the custumer support. They clearly answered that they will not provide unlock codes anymore.
hcu-client.com can retrieve your Honor9's bootloader code.

How To get Huawei Unlock code?

Huawei officially doesn't support the unlocking codes after 2018. But with the help of KingoRoot, you can still unlock Huawei bootloader[/URL]. But if you want to use another way then you need to unlock codes which you'll get by following these steps-
You have to go on the Huawei unlocking page.
Then create an account and login successfully.
Now a pop-up notification will come up showing that "I have read and accepted all terms above" just tap the yes box and go to the next.
Now they'll ask for the information of the device, just provide the required information and tap on the submit button.
Once you submit details correctly, Soon you'll get the unique 16 digit bootloader to unlock the password or code for your Huawei device.
Save this code in notes or somewhere safe drive.
By following this way you can get Huawei to unlock codes.
Hope it helps.

I'm trying to get ahold of my Huawei Honor 7s bootloader code, and was following the above guide. I compiled and ran the code correctly, and it immediately opened a screen on my phone asking if I wanted to unlock my bootloader. If I press yes, it fails and kills the above code. But when I don't press anything and leave the code running, my cpu usage is at zero and it isn't doing anything.??
Report this issue to the tool's author.
