Cant find a combination file - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

So heres my dilemma. My sister forgot her google account we attempted contacting google to rest the account but that didn't work out. I really don't have the funds to get her another phone and I don't believe i can send the photo into Samsung to reset it.
I checked recovery and it says the version is 8.0.0 G965USQU3ARG8

If you have the bill from buying the phone you can sent the phone to Samsung and they deactivate the FRP Lock...
In Germany it costs about 39 Euro.

[Q] T-Mobile lied to me.

Hello XDA,
I have been here a lot of times, but didn't remember my essential info to log on as before.
I was in USA recently and someone stole my backpack. I went to t mobile, to buy a phone. And I specified, I need it to be unlocked because in a month I am flying back home. I paid the device normal price 350 dollars for an S3 and got it or 300 dollars don't remember. I am now home and the device doesn't work. And I want to unlock it and remove the T mobile firmware.
is it possible?
Regards
Mario

Not sure where the lie is...? They don't sell the phones unlocked, even when purchased out right. If you were told that, most likely the CSR just didn't know what they were talking(common) about rather than actively lying to you. You should be able to contact their customer service to obtain an unlock code though if you have proof of purchase. Other than that, if it isn't updated (not likely) past 4.1.2 you can unlock it yourself via hidden menu. If you are on 4.3, this method no longer works that I have seen and you'll need to purchase an unlock code from a reputable source if T-Mobile refuses to help or you are unable to provide them with the necessary details for them to give you the code.

I asked her like 4 times. Will it work in my country? The answer was yes, and the last time was, are you going to ask me again sir?
Can someone direct me to the secret menu? I am in my country now. Will it unlock?
I am on odin and I cant flash back the 4.1.1. why is that. If I flash it back I will be able to use the secret code
So, you got it from the US, and not you are home (can I as where?) and it doesn't accept your sim card?
Do you have an authentic receipt with the full price, and/or proof of purchase?
if so you can contact an authorized Samsung dealer in your area and describe the issue, and they will give you the unlock codes.
Something similar happened to me: I bought a brand new Galaxy S3 from Europe and sent it as a gift to the Middle east, where it didn't work, but with the receipt and some patience (a week/10 days), Samsung sent us the unlock codes.

No, once you update to latest version (4.3) with its modem, you can't use old unlock codes (unless you backed up your EFS), but I guess your only hope is Samsung, try them first.

Re-activation Lock locked me out of phone, despite correct password/email

Long story short, factory reset phone. Prompted with "Phone has been reset, please enter last used Google Email and Password." So I enter in the correct information, proceed to the Terms and Agreement page, and it sends me back to the "Enter Google Email and Password." Page again. It's stuck in this loop.
I tried changing my password, factory resetting, clearing the cache, talking to Samsung rep (they said to send it into a service center), I'm just at a complete loss here.
Some research says that after you reset your password, you have to wait 72hrs before you can unlock the device again. I'm not sure if that makes sense...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Good luck. Smartphones have become pretty hard to crack in the past 2 years. The last thing i would maybe try is odin back to stock and try again. If that doesn't work, you should ask for a replacement. My job used to be a Samsung service center and we were told if anybody comes in with a knox or reactivation lock issue to send the unit to the head service center and they will send us back an other phone. Just like on the icloud lock on idevices, it's a huge hassle to bypass thoses locking mechanisms, and for a good reason.

well I'm not necessarily trying to crack it, just get it to work properly.

Well at this point brute force would be an option to consider. There are a couple of thread of users being locked out of their own phone in the Note 4 forum, i remember seeing them when i had a note 4 and it was one of the most active threads, I know it took them a few months to figure out what to do when you are a legit user, not a thief, and you're locked out of your phone because you forgot to untick the reactivation lock option after either flashing or restoring. I know there is a way, but i'm not sure where the thread is, I know it's either in the T-Mo section or the international section because these are the only 2 sub forums i visited.
You should consider checking it out, might be your only hope before bringing the unit to Samsung...and BTW, you'll probably have to fight with them because technically, this is a user mistake...at least that's how we dealt with it when I worked for Samsung. If you're lucky enough, you'll deal with a person like me that can relate to your issue and will pass it under warranty by bending the truth a bit.
EDIT: My memory fooled me, it's the Note 3 forum, not the 4

Hi,
I from tihs understand that you have iCloud Actvation Lock problem, and need for you to add original owner password in your device to unlock. If you not are the original owner that only way is to use factory unlock service. I have the some problem as you and used this here: howtoiphonegeek .com and help me.

If you changed your password recently you should wait 72 hours and then you'll be able to unlock it with your credentials. Hope this works for you and it's your case.

Sorry for the newbie question....

I purchased a moto z force on ePay. The iMEI number is ok (not stolen) with Verizon but the seller wiped it and now will not answer any if my emails . The Google security feature requires the past email and PW are needed to continue passed the beginning setup. Zero cooperation from seller... and PP and eBay won't help because it was as described ( or not disclosed). Is there any way to get passed this issue or did I get a brick or case parts. Can it be reflashed or some other reset be done? Thank you in advance for any help with this.

see http://www.rootjunky.com/motoreaper-frp-removal-tool/
Bypassing this by just anybody would defeat the purpose of this valuable safety feature and I would hope it is not possible. If Google did not provide a bypass to the legitimate sources (carriers) then shame on Google for not doing this. I would check and see if Verizon might be able to help you since it is not blocked and the owner who sold the phone to you would not be reporting the phone as stolen. Perhaps bring your receipt with IMEI number on it and they should be able to verify that you are legit and unlock your phone. Ebay should be tighter on this kind of thing!!!
removal tool.
It will not allow a download unless you are enrolled in a course of some kind. Anyone have that tool or other fix?

I was able to download some and they did not work. Paid a service to do it and they could not do it either. Appears to have taken a new security update
so far it is unbreakable it seems.
Any ideas?

If it was described as a working phone and the seller is ignoring you. Then file a complaint with ebay about the auction. Since you clearly can't use the phone. Take pictures of the device lock and when you file the complaint you will need to add them.
Yes I can ...and have time to do that but I was hoping to get this working because the price was very good. If not I will do that as a last resort.

Used Tab S3 FRP Locked Out

I purchased a tab s3 from someone on Facebook Marketplace in another state. When I got it and turned it on I got a "verify your gogle account" message. Obviously the owner is not going to give me his credentials and I'd hate to ship it off to Samsung. Is ther a flashing guide to get rid if this?
Thx

Ship it off to Samsung. All you need is proof of purchase. They're alot faster about that stuff than youd think. I had to file a warrant claim and got it back within a week. (5 business days)
Ended up shipping back to seller.

Samsung s9+ Google account locked the phone

my nephew has a s9+ that a friend gave him and the friend does not have the email or password for the permanent Google account lock out of the s9+.
I have a Motorola x pure edition that's unlocked and rooted and I was locked out of Google account one day and I posted on the forms and this guy came up with a flash file that I flashed through TWRP that eliminated the Google lock out account 72 hours but the s9+ is perm locked. g965u.
is there any way around this through oden or something?
his and my friend does not have the password or email account either Verizon told the friend to just throw it away.
The "owner" of the phone doesnt know the email address they used to log in?
Doesnt sound legit.
Simple process to reset your own email address.

if it is legit, then youll want to have this rich and dumb fella contact verizon and either add you temporarily as an authorized person just to troubleshoot or (less likely by the sounds of it) have him call and troubleshoot himself. XDA rules do not allow discussing bypassing google security methods

true.
so we went over there and he had find email and password then it took him to send a text to the SIM card that it was associated with "the phone number", put the code in it went through, then it ask for a recovery email address, in which they have the email address but not the password. if you ask me Google stupid and you're right bad apples ruin the whole thing.
the phone is garbage
