I am trying to flash a modified boot image to my Micromax A25 which is based on Mediatek MT6575, with SP FLASH TOOL. After I have loaded the scatter file and the boot image to SP tool, I clicked on DOWNLOAD and then connected the phone to the usb cable. But I get an error measage saying that BROM START COMMAND CANNOT BE PASSED OVER USB. What could I be doing wrong? Somebody help me! If possible tell me about any other method through which I could flash boot.img to my unrooted MT6575 device.

I have a Doogee Collo DG100.

Hello friends this is my first thread (sorry for my english)
I want to install Stock rom for my Mt6572 phone (android 4.2 - 4gb - 512 ram - POSH Pegasus 3g ).
I have a Stock ROM and sp flash tool and the computer (sp flash tools ) recogn the phone as Mediatek preload USB.
When i try to DOWNLOAD , appears BROM DRAM FAILED 4032
When i tray to FORMAT ALL + FLASH ---> BROM DRAM FAILED 4032
When i try to TEST RAM ---> BROM DRAM FAILED 4032
Finally when I connect another phone (i have 3 POSH Pegasus 3g phones ) then NO ERROR, all OK.
I think that the problem is the phone, and Not SPFlashTool or STOCK ROM
I think that is a NAND corrupt or EMMC corrupt, that stop de DOWNLOAD and appear BROM DRAM FAILED warning
If any can help me to repair this problem for Download the ROM. I apreciate your help. Thanks
Stucked in Boot logo in MT6572 device.
Getting BROM error 3149 while flashing.
No nand flash detected. Unable to flash nvram.bin, occurs PMT Error while flashing.
Unknown EMMC partition .
Tried all the modes in SP flash tool i.e, Format, firmware upgrade, download etc everything.. Also tried other flash tools.
Cant write IMEI again. Total device formatted with bootloader.
Not able to acquire Root shell through MTK Droid Tools. Flashing Custom roms giving Symlinks error.
Still detecting by pc and MTK droid tools.
I have all the backup of original firmware.
Any help would be really appreciated..
error 4032 means preloader not match
My phone xtouch PF73 gives me this message "decrypt error, boot failed" after i tried flashing it.
I have tried two more ROMS but with those i get the "S_NOT_ENOUGH_STORAGE(1011) error message in both SP Flash tool and WiseLink Tool"
Android version: 4.22
MTK platform : MT6572
I used
SP Flash Tool v5.1352.01
SP Flash Tool v5.1628
wise tool v4.6.0.44
How can i fix it?

Click to collapse
Reason:
The firmware(s) you are trying to flash to your MTK device is larger than the available space allocated for the firmware in the phone’s storage space.
Possible fix ( was not tested by me ):
Click on the Format Tab
Select/tick Format whole Flash and click the Start button before connecting your device.
Once the formatting is done, go to the Download Tab and select just the Preloader file first and flash it.
After the preloader.bin has been successfully flashed to your device, tick the rest of the firmware files and flash as well.
