You don't back it up. You can only backup personal settings using many of the utilities available. If you want the original ROM you just get it from your provider or the phones manufacturer or do a Google search and I am sure you will find a source for it. All the kitchens used the original as a base to build on.
Thank you all, i posted the quistion at the general forum and from there i understand that i can "dump" my ROM and turn it to flashablle later.

Hi,
I`m new user and found no appropriate thread.
Want to debrand my Samsung Galaxy S2 branded Hutchinson 3 in Austria.
Device has Android 2.3.3
kernel 2.6.35.7-I9100WKE1-CL181974 [email protected] #2
build XWKE1
Pls help, thank you!
Kind regards, Joe
You can root your phone using the KE2 CFRoot kernel from here. Read the instructions in the first post in that thread carefully & follow the instructions to the letter & you should have a rooted phone in a few minutes.
From there you I recommend you do a backup in CWRecovery as this will give you a "snapshot" of your system in almost original condition (obviously with a rooted kernel).
Then you can get Titanium Pro from the Market & you can/freeze uninstall (be careful uninstalling, I prefer to just freeze) apps you don't use/want, and you can also backup your apps/app data as well.
After that you can flash any of the myriad of custom roms/kernels that can be found on here. If you read the first 10 & last 20 pages of a thread devoted to a rom/kernel, that will give you an idea of the features/pluses/minuses & other users' experiences with that rom/kernel.
@MistahBungle
thanks alot! I`ll try it asap.
I have ordered Titanium Backup Pro already for my Galaxy S, I had before. This device was also rooted.
There are only apps on my internal sd-card, data are on my external disk. But of course I will backup in CWRecovery.
Kind regards and again many thanks, Joe
You're welcome Joe Post to this thread again if you have any problems.

Hey guys I am having a problem with rom toolbox pro. I am using the app to backup my apps+data but every time I run it it says backup has failed on all the apps. I made sure that it was given root permissions. I am running Hyper drive rom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After 2 years of rooting, flashing custom roms, what I see the most important things before flashing anything is
1st.. Backup your rom / apps
2nd.. Efs backup
Here, I won't share link how to backup rom /apps , also believe most can do it, but if you wanna know, @stamatis

Hello, forum moderators, I've created another similar thread to this one in "general" as don't know where to post.. I do hope my thread would be useful for most.. Please keep only one thread that will be visible for most users, and close one thread.. Sorry and apologize for being not known where to put the above thread.. I just wanna share these useful links for others..
Does anyone have a rooted flashible 5.0.1 zip somewhere that I can't seem to find. I flashed CM 12.1 and I made a backup, but per the tutorial instructions, I only backed up data and system with twrp. Now when I go to restore with my backup, I am in a eternal LG bootloop. I figure its because I am on 5.1.1 and the old version is 5.0.1.
Thanks for the help!
Nevermind, Found it!!
