I will definitely look into it. But on my side everything is fine. Anyone else have the same issue do inform me.
Is there a feature list for this ROM so we know what we are getting?

Yes. Same issue. Had to revert back to other rom.
Wow did that install fast! I no longer have a sim card in this phone - it is basically a reader for my ebooks. But when I saw your rom I decided to give it a whirl. First real issue? No fingerprint. I'm about to retry... but the fingerprint pad gave no response to the phone when I first tried to set it up. Will report back if it works on a retry.
And it did work on a retry! Excellent!
Thanks!!
Is this October security patch??
Does this virtual navbar??

I noticed this issue upon several dirty flashes while testing. Fingerprint takes quite some time to load. Might be a bug on my side. I'll test a little bit more until I release another build. Though I realized that the standby was good on wifi. So yeah. I'll look onto the signal drops too.
Ss please
Review:
Rom installs quite fast..
Open gapps Micro recommended for the best results
No heating issues,
Everything basic works, fp, cam, network etc
Love the accent picker:good:
Btw, I didn't face any Network reboot issues
Rom is quite stable
Battery backup and standby are the best among any pie rom right now.
Issues:
1. smoothness is a little let down when compared to pixel experience
2. There are some UI glitches , hope they can be fixed easily (reference: see the screenshot of phone app.. the nav bar is not yet fully compatible)
3. Settings take a lot of time to open. Like 2 seconds .. (plz fix this)
Suggestion:
Plz make animation scale 1.0x by deafult..
Plz make pixel launcher default..
Thanks for the rom:good: .. I'm happy to test stuff if you want something.. I'm gonna use this for a while , just for the battery backup..
For those who want some screenshots of customisation:

+nise rom, fast, customizing
+Finally contacts working without crash ( in case if Opengapps flashed)
- still some problems like green line in video foto preview
- viber animation stickers shown like cutted pictures
It's a good rom overall, but one problem that i want to download something from the yalp store it gives me a toast saying "downloads directory could not be created or is not writable" i checked and have all my permissions enabled. In other apps as well such as twitter would not let me save images. Not sure if it's an app problem or system problem but it's whatever lol
Rom is fast and snappy and is working really great currently, thank you.
EDIT: Back with the problem when twitter was unable to save images is know fixed, I basically went to the file manager and went to my internal storage and manually created a folder for twitter basically naming "twitter" lol
For some odd reason its saves to /storage/C658-1300/Pictures/Twitter well for me, but i'm happy as long it works
Sorry that I keep editing this post every minute but i fixed the the yalp store issue as well if anybody uses it instead of the play store. I basically went to the internal storage and created two folders one named yalpstore and yalp store (with space, i just put two like that just in case it gave me problems) and it ended up working for me.
I'm happy with the build now, thanks.

Great ROM need HELP
I'm coming from LGG3 CRdroid 3.6 (has fade to black issues) and i got my hands on a XT912 to hold me over until i decide what my next phone is going to be. I must have done something wrong with the installation. The ROM is none responisive. I can't use it at all. I believe that I did a clean install. If someone could detail the steps for me that would be awesome.

Hi,
This is unofficial. Use LineageOS. It is fast, smooth and responsive. There aren't any major bugs with it. It is a great improvement over Marshmallow.

Hi there
not agree at all, there are Major bugs with Video and Animation, Viber crashes.... because based 14.1 LOS with their Bugs (so cannot understand how official can be great)
After a Lot of Tests Antutu perfect TOP 1 - 13 LOS Last official with modules and Transi crDroid kernel, TOP 2 - 13 LOS Stock kernel with modules - and it is perfect and high improvement! ( 19700-19500 - LOS 13, 18200 - LOS 14)
Transi doing unofficial, yes, but his kernel optimization - for me it's perfect!
I am staying on 13 LOS, with Transi's kernel from cdDroid

Hmm, I didn't think to think that being a secondary could be the reason WiFi doesn't work for me either. I doubt it but ya never know.
WiFi is the last main piece not working. Everything else seems pretty good.

Definitely NOT multirom related.
I installed the ROM (4th of november release) twice as a singular ROM on my spare G3.
The wifi works fine upon install but after a while, and at least 2 reboots...
It stops working all together.
I manage to screnshot the error.
Unfortunately the forum doors not allow the upload of media (for regular users like myself).
"Failed to save network" is the error.
Sent from my LG-V500 using Tapatalk
Thanks @DTTR for the confirmation.
Hmm, not sure why you can't upload pics. You're a senior member and been around awhile. Should be able to post pics. Probably a temporary XDA or Tapatalk glitch. I couldn't do the same not too long ago.
ZTE Axon 7 A2017U, Dark ROM, Tapatalk 4.9.5
So, I installed the 7.11 release.
One reboot (intentional). The WiFi disconnected and never auto-conected. I had to go into settings and toggle the WiFi.
Now. About the crDroid 4 thread.
The 3.X thread stated whether the ROM was rooted or not. Maybe it's worth mentioning in the first post that the ROM is not rooted.
Now about ROM requests.
I would really like to have the Clear all button on Recent apps down, not up...
Meanwhile I'm accommodating with O.
I'm still a M guy. My main G3 runs on stock M rooted with lots of Tasker profiles which do not run on N and O.
Good job crDroid team!
Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
I've been testing the ROM for almost 3 days, with the first install the ROM was feeling laggy and the phone was a little hotter, but I wiped everything and now it feels smoother.
WiFi and data works good, haven't had a single disconnect issue so far. GPS is working great. I am using Footej and it really helps to improve camera resolution.
I haven't been able to test a fully charged round of battery, but I feel battery life is comparable to crDroid 7.
I may have been experiencing some LOS bugs but the ROM feels pretty stable for daily use, the only thing is not working for me is ADB over USB, I have been using it over network but that is not secure.
Overall, great work firebird11, I bet that with those bugs fixed this ROM will become pretty solid.
Thanks for the effort and time put in this.
In D851 the WiFi does not turn on, the MAC stays 00: 20: 00: 00: 00: 00
Great work thanks for the ROM
Got a very minor big on the lockscreen.
# Swipe on the lockscreen to bring up the pattern screen (or any screen I think)
# Press the back button.
Instead of going back to the swipe lockscreen the screen is now completely blank (just your wallpaper).

"Review"
I flashed this one to give it a try; running PIE already (CRDroid daily driver),
Flashed: in Bluspark Recovery
- ROM
- NANO-Gapps (opengapps.org)
- Google Camera MOD ("stolen" from CRDroid) - from Neobuddy89
- Magisk BETA 17.3
- No-Verity-V3
So no custom Kernel for me when trying this ROM.
SIM-card works fine for me, after first boot it comes directly with PIN question, also after rebooting, power-off/power-on.
Not one problem, i only use one sim-card
Customizing:
- Center Clock, show date, show seconds
- UI coloring (grey, black with nice accent colors to choose)
- Toggle HeadsUp / NFC in QuickSettings
- Navigation bar is customizable (yes also back and recent swap), force close with long click
- Screenshot in power-menu
- QuickSettings can be changed, rows, colums, titles on/off.
Screenshots attached for those who are interested
Missing:
- Nothing that's missing on other PIE roms (batterybar, fonts changing) but that can be fixed through an app from the playstore
Conclusion:
Awesome ROM, feels smooth, hope developing keeps on going, will test it more if needed (good change this becomes my daily).

Very good ROM. I've been using it for two days straight. Great performance, stable and good battery life. I haven't experienced any problems. Good for every day use. Can't confirm if NFC or any tethering works. I don't use any of those functions.

I was happy to see Arrow OS for Oneplus 5t and was eager to use as my daily driver. But one thing i notice today os the performance. I realize there are small lags that i noticed randomly so I try to debug it. I turned on GPU profiling and this is what i got.
I hope they can fix this. Normally, the profile bars shouldn't reach that high. Other ROM I used is below 1/4 of that that bars.
This is what i got from another rom.

Hey Guys, this is a private build I use for myself because I enjoy building for Nexus devices.
I'll update the post to look fancier later when I feel like it but I personally like it simple.
Standard Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked device and/or device going thermonuclear.
PS: I test builds on my own device before posting, you are on your own if you flash builds not highlighted.
Also PS: What doesn't work in LOS 15.1 like BT call, shouldn't work here too. I don't have BT devices so I can't test this out.

Hey, I'll be supporting for both but PIE is still in Alpha testing phase.
Thus far oreo works best for me.
Flashing should be pretty straightforward. I don't think I'll be posting any screenshots on flashing instructions. Mostly if I will its just the about phone section, but if you have anything you can definitely ask or even PM me.
Hey, i'm just joking... don't take serious...
Oreo is always stable and best for Nexus 5... I'll flash it and let you know ...
FYI: Oreo is missing LatinIME no idea why. will fix soon "hopefully"
In all seriousness.
If anyone wants to try PIE. This is the direct link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fOTGXxUsOYMzHJ-tmovBBdNBv-6lDUNn
Freshly built.
after flashing one day review:
Suggestions:
1. There is no keyboard, so i have installed manually.
2. APN settings have to type manually.
3. Battery drains very fast.
4. I have installed Lawnchair v2 apk, it is better than Trebuchet.
Good things:
1. Good and smooth experience
2. Direct Home button animation is awesome (without options to select)
3. Don't find any new difference.

Go for PIE. In Oreo the keyboard was messed up on the building side. I rebuilt but have not tested
Guys, I apologize but this month's upload will be slightly delayed due to my work and studies having major setbacks. Again, I apologize.

No need to apologize. Real life always comes first :good:
Pie is working overall well, only NFC is not detected.
Hi! I tested Pie on my Nexus 5: everything is working well,I'm really impressed. But the NFC is not detected,it should be present in the settings but it is missing. In my previous Pie based on AOSP the NFC was detected. Overall it is a very stable ROM.Thanks.
Very nice job with this rom. Runs great. Great having AICP on Hammerhead. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing your personal builds. Much appreciated :good:
Offline Google Assistant ?
Great ROM. Thanks for taking the time to build it.
Could anyone try to use Google Assistant while Offline?
I'm on the latest Pie build and it's not working.
Also Online works fine to start applications (e.g. Google music) but then fails to control them (e.g. skip song)
Very nice rom. I made little video how to install this rom and little review and benchmark.

Update for Oreo as well, Unfortunately the Security is still at June, since older versions are slowing down on their updates.
Pie is posted above.

I'll look into it soon! Cheers!
Quick question - I'm just curious. All the other Pie ROMs (well, most) demand that the system partition size be increased, but this one doesn't. It does take a long time to boot - maybe that's in some way related? But everything works fine - for my purposes, anyway.
Kudos to @KiD3991 not only for the continued N5 support but also for making the Pie upgrade simple.
Edit: So my question is - why does this ROM not need a larger system partition?

known Issues:
- Selinux is permissive
- Date and time reset to build date on boot
- USB PD charging is untested.
- It's likely that you'll need to reboot just once after installation to get VOLTE to work.

Enjoy Android 13 on the Pixel XL
Great!!!
I don't have a Pixel XL but really excited to see this device not really died on Android 11!
Since even Xiaomi's msm8996 devices got Android 13 ROMs, the most developer friendly Pixels should really not just stop on Android 11
Nice, i will test it THX.
Wow...wow..this is just...wow... @npjohnson
Thanks a lot! Brother!
Looking forward to testing it. Thanks for the hard work.
Thank you and congratulations @rootfan for this! This is a tremendous feat! In my test the rom installed nicely with LineageOS recovery (for Android 11). The only thing that didn't work for me was the installation of GApps. I tried both MindTheGapps and NikGApps (the core flavor), and got errors both times (MindTheGapps complained about not being able to mount system and NikGApps reported there was no space available). The rom on its own, however, runs very smoothly and everything I tested seemed to work very nicely. If you could provide a brief installation instruction with the preferred recovery for the rom, that would be even smoother! Thank you again for keeping this old wheezing beast of a phone alive.
I've tested it for more than 10 hours now, it works fast and consumes a little less RAM than LineageOS 18.1. At the moment there are only two problems for me:
1. Battery gets hot and drains quickly even though I'm not gaming or anything (see my apps).
2. Every time I turn on WLAN, the device crashes after a few minutes (normal work is no longer possible).
I've uploaded a bug report, maybe someone can do something with it.
I'm now temporarily back on crDroid 7.30
Can you check without gapps? If wlan works perfectly? And is there any battery drain without gapps!

I haven't had any problem with gapps, as you can see I was able to install everything successfully. I only have problem with wifi. I'm also back on Android 11. But 13 was a lot of fun, I only uninstalled it again because of the hot battery and fast discharge with defective WLAN.

hey, if you could take a look at your DM's - only pinging as I know by default XDA emails for replies but not for DMs lol
After installing the ROM you need to reboot the recovery but not reboot the system then install GApps.

Yes, I installed it. Didn't put my SIM in it. Tested it with Wi-Fi. Works really well. Didn't face any issues/bugs. Felt it to be smoother than LOS 18.1.
