Hi I have the mi8 with MIUI 10 beta Android pie version 8.10.11 and I have a problem with every browser that I use , every time that I open it reloads and I I don't know why. Thanks

I upgraded from miui MM to Oreo, everything working fine
But there's 1 thing bothered me :crying: each time I change Oreo to Oreo ROM, the problem is I can't upload photo to Facebook via browser, tried 5 different browser nothing changes, tried 5 other ROM is the same,
Is there anyone faced problem like me?

Using facebook app, working fine. This source still construction, be patient and use existing ones.

I'm using Xiaomi Mi 4 and encounter the same problem. You can try again with Samsung Internet Browser :good:

Maybe it has ARB, so keep eyes opens (on xiaomi.eu the new roms based on android 9 are marked with “Anti Roll Back” )
Looks like its still android 8.1 by the filename.
I flashed this. This is also global beta, but the closed nightly one. I am unsure of the changelog (no permission)
I've read some comments saying the number at the end of the ROM file represents the Android version (It's still 8.x Oreo).

According to the mi forums there are just some bug fixes. Nothing new at all. The software developers of Xiaomi are seriously a joke. There's still no official stable even after three months after release of their allegedly flagship that got unveiled with MIUI 10. The Chinese and global version differs in features (Chinese shows WhatsApp notifications in the Always On screen for example), the cheap ass Mi8se got miui10 already, but the flagship doesn't, ok Google never worked in any Rom so far and not to forget the whole discussion about bootloader's or GPS. It's a ridiculous failure so far in my opinion

It's not, how do you get that idea? Funny thing is, that the roms get worse with every update IMHO. The best working so far was actually 8.8.7. With 8.8.21 some of the gestures stopped working and the AOD flashed white before activating, additionally it became slow and laggy after some time without reboot. The AOD is fixed now, gestures still doesn't fully work, same goes for "ok Google". Why the Chinese version supported WhatsApp notifications in the AOD and the global doesn't is another oddity. I'm not impressed.

It's android 9 to have anti-roll back, we are still on 8.1 there. Should HAVE NOT the ARB.

Global 8.9.6 is still Oreo. To be exact: 8.1.0 OPM 171019.026 Tapping 8.1.0 shows Oreo cookie. Hope that answers.
i think, miui 11 EU rom (11.0.15) is the best miui rom ever for this device. . because, the latest miui 12 eu stable and beta ROMs are so much stuttery laggy broken animation. those latest roms are made with [email protected] /490 OpenGL driver..i think this driver is the reason for miui 12 laggy animations, recent apps panel scrolling stutter ,and some more hicups ,thus disturbing the 120Hz fluidity....and when i flash eu 11.0.15 rom, (it has [email protected] open GL driver) believe me, its buttery smooth as hell !! i will recommend every k30 4g user to use this rom for once. and PLEASE, SOMEONE TELL THE EU COMMUNITY THAT THIS LATEST OPENGL DRIVER IS RUINING MIUI12 EU rom EXPERIENCE FOR REDMI K30, i cannot login to my eu account, and they even dont let me reset my account/pass etc. the says my login activity looks like robotic ! hahaha.. feeling SAD for eu community.
Have you tried with MIUI 12.0.5 - Android 10?, I'm using it since Dec 2020 until now and found it works flawlessly, faster, moother than MIUI 11.0.15 and more features.
Im also sticking to MIUI 11.0.15 until the last build for MIUI 12 will be released.

I tried every single rom so far, GPS is totally ****ed , it locks and everything, but it isn't accurate at all and google maps while driving is insane and keeps stuttering and moving me all over the map .
is it hardware related ?

Hey everyone, I have the Indian variant of Redmi note 10 (mojito) 4/64.
I was using pixel experience for quite a long time, but after PE 12 I switched back to MIUI. It was working fine, then all of a sudden the phone switched off and started rebooting itself. Now it always crashes and reboots again and again on MIUI ROMs (both Stock and Modded). But it works perfectly on custom roms like AOSP based ones.(pixel os, PE+). I cant figure out what's causing this issue. but I get the same error even on MIUI 12.
Also, the stock camera app crashes in MIUI and macro camera just doesn't work at all.
Any idea why this is happening? Thanks
