First of all a hearty congratulations to our CHD Development team for their rigorous hard work in making the cyanogenmod 11 stable for our beloved CHD..

CM11 Boot Logo(Flashable via recovery)
NOTE :
1) Here I am not including the boot_logo file of the image. For those getting two boot screens can simply rename the boot_logo file located at system/media/images/
You can give it any name to simply disable it.
2) This logo has been tested by me on CM11 rom by @kashifmin sir. I flashed it via the Philz Touch Recovery. CWM for kitkat roms will work too.
Credits--
-LogoBuilder :- I have used the LogoBuilder Program for creating Logos. A big Thanks to @kadan
-I used winrar to handle my zip files
-Thanks Google for its picture search engine
-I used Photoshop CC to design this image.
Of course every1 has a different taste and that's why we are diversified. So do comment even if you don't like and mention your requirements so that further when i make more logos i could keep your thought in mind.:highfive:
And yes if you like it go rate and don't forget to press the thanks button..!!

not a big fan of boot logos. so, might not try this. but, nice effort. small size too. keep it up.
a little observation: the logo says "android open system project". aosp is "android open source project", right?
and, how about making it "Powered by CyanogenMod 11 KitKat 4.4.2" (with the added space before 11)?
just my thoughts. 6 downloads up till now. users may comment further.
How do I reomve this logo
I flashed this image quite a while back and now I want to remove it, Sorry but no offence. I like altering things a lot. How do I do that.?

The size of the boot animation is more because of the resolution of the device.
Give me feedbacks
how to increase boot animation time it will stuck in half and the phone starts
Nice Boot animation!
If you happen to be using Android N theme which has it's own boot animation. (or any other theme that has it).
You will need to change to the default animation to see this one.
Click Themes
Account Icon (top left)
Customize Theme

I don't know how to increase the time.
But for me on the latest xiaomi.eu 6.9.9 (6.0.1), the boot animation time is now to long.

I assume you meant root! Flash the latest SuperSU v2.78 SR1 in TWRP.
Good animition but not HD quality.
Note:
This is not bootanimation, this is the splash screen (the 'Mi' boot logo which is displayed when device is switched ON)
This is for Xiaomi Mi 5(, 5s, 5s Plus) & Mi Max/Mix Only (Snapdragon Variants)..
For other devices, please send me your splash.img so that I can create a tool for you too.
Requirements:
1. Rooted Xiaomi Mi 5 or Mi 5s / 5s Plus or Mi Max or Mi Mix (any ROM)
2. Optional: Terminal Emulator app or Custom Recovery or atleast working fastboot in computer
3. You're proceeding at your own risk.
Seems this tool won't work anymore for the latest updated firmware.
STEPS to create splash.img:
Before proceeding, make sure fastboot is setup properly in your computer (just incase something goes wrong)..
1. Download & Extract this: Splash_Logo_Maker.zip
2. Make sure you have a picture with resolution equal to your device resolution (for example, 1080x1920px for Mi5) or lesser.
Note:
In fact, you don't need 1080x1920 picture, you can even have a picture with any resolution lower than device resolution, which will automatically be centered while booting.
For example, here's the stock splash with resolution 161x321: Click Here
3. Now rename your picture as logo.png or logo.jpg (according to the format) & replace it inside "pics" folder of the extracted folder.
(Or you can also directly edit the picture inside)
4. Finally, run the 'CREATE_LOGO.bat' to create splash.img , which you can find inside the "output" folder after completion.
STEPS to flash splash.img:
Optional: To backup your original splash.img:
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/splash of=/sdcard/splash.img
(Not necessary though.. You may get it from the stock firmware itself.)
Now, Choose any one easy method to install:
a. To flash from recovery:
Transfer the flashable_splash.zip to your device and flash from TWRP or CWM or Philz or any other custom recovery.
b. To flash from Terminal Emulator:
Transfer the splash.img to your device's Internal Storage, Open Terminal Emulator & enter the following to flash it:
Code:
su
dd if=/sdcard/splash.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/splash
c. To flash from Fastboot mode:
Code:
fastboot flash splash splash.img
Note:
Incase something goes wrong or device doesn't bootup, flash the stock splash.img from custom recovery or fastboot.
Note:
For Mi 5 upgraded to Android 7 (Nougat) firmware, if this tool doesn't work, try this tool here by @Cynob:

You're welcome to share here the custom splash screens that you made, since others may find it useful
Thanks, was looking for this, trying to figure it out from the similar instructions from Redmi.
Thank you for this beatiful script!
I've made a custom splash screen which looks in my opinion really nice, so I would like to share it. You can find it in my attachements, Thanks!
Thank you man, this is my boot splash image
Thank you so much!! :good:

Thanks mate :highfive:
In the attachements you can see another logo, i just used the Unity 5 logo, so basicly no big work behind it. On the Second Splash Screen, i've created a mosaic like five ans placed it instead of the 5 logo.
I hope you like it.
Note: @ work, I only have paint.net...
Didn't worked for me unfortunately
Unlocked and rooted on latest global stable miui 8.
dd in terminal emulator went just fine.
After reboot, stock splash screen is still displayed.
Any idea what am I doing wrong?
Here is one I did for the Mi 4c http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68648359&postcount=14
Seems cool, but RIP warranty
Thank you for your work.
just a few hours ago: ... searching the net for "convert rgb565 to rgb888" and trying to figure out a way to open the .img file with the boot logo image and do some personal tuning.
and then, Taà Daà! one pensiero* hit me, go check the friends at the XDA community!

Creepy splash screen (homage to H. R. Giger)
This is my first attempt at this "game".
The title of the image used for this splash screen is Bio-Mechanical Landscape I by Hans Rudolf "Ruedi" Giger.

Small Image to try & trial & test
@fabioplata @Burs
Sometimes the script does not work depending on the specific environment where it is operating (the user computer), mainly is Python related.
Do you have it installed? wich version? Your Python is mission critical for your workflow / lifeflow? ...do you want to hunt down the problem?
My suggestion is: go with a virtual machine, a small one; bring it up for the work and then puff! close it when done. A fresh virtual machine is a blank slate so no mismatches between different/similia pieces of code.
If the problem is in the outcome and the delivery/deployment...
Did you try the 3 methods to accomplish this task?
Personally my preferenza goes to the flashable zip via twrp. ... and a "Dalvik" if there is time
For your testing in attach is available a small image: both versions, all 3 methods. Hope helps.

I don't think my issue is Python related, because I'm just flashing the same img file others flashed too (I don't even have that tool installed). My ultimate question is why other people can flash img file and everything works fine, but I still have the same logo image? Note that I have my Mi5 unlocked and rooted with latest twrp, and personally am very confident in what I'm doing. I tried it multiple times in many different ways (using Terminal, fastboot, and twrp), and damn thing just won't work for me.
This little mod its good for you eyes, especially during night times:
This is the Oreo Cn splash.img. I don't know if Global ota's will work with this mod. It's very simple, but for i will put a disclaimer:
I will not take responsibility for any actions you take using these instructions. Flashing can void your warranty. Please proceed with caution and at your own accord.
--update: now with the second splash too.
Guide:
Splash Download
Download Splash2
-ONLY FOR UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER-
Reboot to fastboot
fastboot flash splash_a splash.img
fastboot flash splash_b splash.img
fastboot flash splash2 multi-splash-img
Reboot, enjoy.:good:

Not really, if i get back to stock i will try to change it and update this thread.
I have made some Boot Animations for Motorola phones and would like to share them with the community.
They also come with their own set of Boot Logos, so you don't need to flash any Boot Logo separately in case you are using the Boot Logos I made.
Features :
Full screen animations
Boot Logo + Boot Animation Pack
N/A hidden in Boot Logo
Redesigned bootloader menu
Some other minor changes in boot logo images
These Boot Animations can also be flashed to other Motorola Devices with 1080X1920 screen resolution like:
Moto G4
Moto G4 Plus
Moto G5
Moto G5 Plus
Moto G5s
Moto G5s Plus
Moto X4
Moto Z2 Play
Other Motorola phone users may use the version of the boot animation with motorola written on the image instead of moto g5 plus.
Use VX.0_BA+BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for Moto G5 Plus.
Use VX.1_BA+BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for other Motorola devices.
The file names with DT at the end stand for Boot Logos suited for Dark Theme.
All Boot Animations have been posted on SOURCEFORGE and more would be added in the coming future. The designs have been separated into two folders and further organized inside each folder by version numbers starting with V1. All the zips are functionally the same and you can flash whichever version you like. The only difference is in the text shown on the Boot Logo image. Head down for viewing previews and downloading the boot logos.
Specifications
This pack will only work for custom ROMs
This pack will not work on Stock Motorola ROMs
All the packs contain both Boot Animation and Boot Logo that goes along with the animation
If your ROM has Display Theme based Boot Animation, the corresponding Boot Animation will be automatically played
Flashing another ROM or updating your ROM may remove this Boot Animation. Flash the pack again to get your desired Boot Animation
Existing Boot Animation in your current ROM will be backed up before installing new Boot Animation
If you wish to restore your Boot Animation that came with your current ROM, you can flash Restore Previous Boot Animation.zip given in Boot Animation folder
How to Install (via Custom Recovery)
Download the desired ZIP file to your phone
Boot to your Custom Recovery
Go to Install
Go to the location where you have saved the ZIP file
Install the ZIP file and reboot
Boot Animation Previews
Boot Animation Downloads
If you are unable to download from SOURCEFORGE on your phone, request desktop site from your browser menu to enable download.
