Hi guys I came across this app online and i decide to try it out. Its called the brightness motion. There's a lite and pro version. What this app does is actually to let you easily change your phone display brightness by shaking your phone left or right to increase or decrease brightness if you don't really like the auto brightness and that the presets of brightness in the power control widget is too bright and wastes battery.
Here's a link

Brightness always at Max!

I'm using Widgetsoid and you can set the brightness with as many different increments and %'s that you want. I would bet most widget apps like that or Elixir would have similar settings. Widgetsoids were on the global settings and not the Widgets settings itself.
Hi
I didn't find a good answer to my question on the other threads for x10 mini (e10i)
I found this phone and got rid of the SIM-card. The brightness of the phone is too dark and i can't adjust it!! How does this come?
If the phone boots, the light is bright. But once the OS loads into the memory, the brightness gets dark and i can't get it lighter ( it is already at the maximum brightness if i look into the settings)
What can I do?
Thanks
Stijn

Turn off auto brightness from settings /display and set the amount of brightness you like manually. You can also tweek sensor sensitivity from cyanogen mod settings /display if u want to keep auto brightness

Hi guys,
How do I adjust the screen brightness upon screen on when using wave control app? The screen is on but the light is not. So the screen is very dim for checking for any notifications on the status bar.
Thanks!!!
There is no 'light' behind the screen, that isn't how these work. The screen brightness is simply too low to read.
Disable the app and turn it up, simple.
If you don't like how it works in the app then contact the app maker and tell them.
Thank you!!!
Is Auto Brightness somehow related to basic brightness setting , namely, if I check the Auto Brightness box the brightness is not the same if I put brightness to min or max. Why then have the Auto Brightness settings ? Does this mean "fine tuning ?
Auto brightness auto addapts to your ambient light levels, its not fine tuning

Thank you for your reply. I understand that Auto Brihtness auto adapts to the ambient light, but auto settings doesn't give the same result when the slider is set to min or max and this is what confused me

Auto brightness does its job. However, If you think standard light level of auto brightness is too low or too high, you can just topup or decrease manually. It will adjust your setting in every level of brightness.
Is there an app available that will display the current screen brightness setting either in a widget of in the notification bar? I don't need an app that changes the screen brightness. I need an app that will display what the current screen brightness percentage is and update the percentage readout as the screen brightness is altered by autobrightness.
