Hello again,
I need your help again and I decided to ask you before I am screwing up my phone again.
I want to install the clockworkmod custom recovery on my phone, but unfortunately I just can not figure out how to install a generic version.
What I did so far:
1.) I installed a custom ROM by simply downloading the coresponding file from needrom... This ROM already contains the superuser settings so this is done
2.) I read a lot about the bootloader, which has to be unloocked at the Lenovo S90... I found a file, which is apparently doing this job... Its a ZIP file called "S90-CN_UnLock_BootLoader.7z" this file contains 6 files: (I) emmc_appsboot.mbn (II) gpt_backup0.bin (III) gpt_main0.bin (IV) patch0.xml (V) prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn (VI) rawprogram0.xml
Next I flashed them via the tool QFIL on the phone... Phone restarted and all good
3.) And thats where I get stuck... According to the thread I was following so far for a successful installation of the TWRP recovery I just needed to download the file " TWRP-2.8.6.0_S90.7z" and start the file called "Flash-TWRP_S90.bat"
However, a custom recovery should always start from the beginning, when I keep the up volume button and the power button at once pressed... However, with this it is not working + I would really prefer the clockworkmod as it was nice on my old Samsung.
the "how to" which I followed is coming from "ainotech.com/how-to-flash-lenovo-s90-sisley-root-and-custom-firmware/" just without the "
Thanks
P.S.: The phone is a Lenovo S90-U 2GB
There is something I want to add...
After following the steps of this website, which state above, I installed the custome recovery... Well at least I think so...
If I open the app: "Mobileuncle Tools" there is this option shich states: "Into Recovery Mode"
When I click this button, my phone shuts down and starts in the TWRP recovery. However, I can not access this mode in the convencional way, meaning: 1. Switch phone off 2. Volume up button + Power button...
If I do this or any other combination I do not get into this recovery mode anymore only through the Mobileuncle Tool...
(If I push Volume down + Power I go into flash memory)
I just recently rooted my tablet and I decided to install a custom boot animation through my tablet, after installing it told me to reboot the tablet and I did it, in boot up screen it shows the new animation but it wont get away, it just shows the animation whole time, it appears that I cannot boot it up! What should I do?
Thanks for the assist!

I have just purchased infinix zero 3 (April 2017). Trying to root device initially via apks and pc software like
1. King root
2. Iroot
3. KingoRoot
4. Framaroot
5. Root genius etc.
Then found some articles telling TWRP method to root device, then i tried to install TWRP (recovery.img) [MT6795] in my infinix zero 3.
while flashing via sp_flash tool it shows successfully installed but when I tried to start my phone with keys combination Vol down + Power button it again shows old "Factory Mode" menu.
I spent nearly 6-7 hours on rooting the device but failed
looking forward to get help from here.
This also happened with me did u find a solution!
There's a little fuss regarding the Mediatek devices meaning that they are absoloute **** regarding both development and Specs along with performance.Remembet do not buy them. They are not meant to be messed with.Currently your issue is that you can't boot to recovery.Instead it goes to factory mode.First try fastboot to boot into recovery manually.Or ADB to boot into it.And Remember it good. After you flash the .img file if you don't boot into the recovery straight after flashing,The already present img won't be overwritten meaning that flash and reboot into flashed partitions.

use the volume up key and the power button not volume down key

Or https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279

Hello everybody ,
I need some tricks/advices and I think you guys can help me .
My old and outdated smartphone Android 4.1 is down, so I've bought a brand new Xiaomi Redmi 6A (Android 8 .1).
Anyway, I'm going nuts since few days, trying to root my device...... I've already found some topics online dealing with that issue..... already tested a lot(!)...... but no one works!! :crying:
So I just wonder if someone have already succeded in it? Does anyone have the perfect trick to do it, and especially working links if it requires to download some tools (twrp, magisk, and so on)?
Thanks a lot guys, any help would be appreciated!
root example N°1:

- First of all Get Supersu to Root Your Redmi 6a: OK
- Now paste the Supersu.zip fle in your device’s memory: OK

root example N°2:
- Unlock Bootloader of your device. Check How to Unlock Bootloader of Xiaomi phones: OK factory settings as I read about

-Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging from Settings. (Complete guide)OK
-Setup ADB and Fastboot Drivers on your PC.OK

- 1. Download the TWRP image file based on your device model from above links to your computer. Rename the file to twrp.img and copy it to ADB & Fastboot folder.OK
- 2. Turn off your device and boot into fastboot mode. To do so, you need to completely turn off your device and boot it on by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power button simultaneously .OK
- 3. Now you will see a fastboot logo on your device. Take a USB cable and connect your device with PC.OK
- 4. Go to ADB & Fastboot folder. Here you need to press Shift key and right click anywhere in the folder. Now, select Open Command Window Here.OK
- 5. Now follow our simple guide on how to install TWRP Recovery via Fastboot.OK
- 6. Once TWRP recovery is successfully installed, you need to enter the below command to enter into TWRP mode.OK
fastboot boot twrp.img OK
- 7. Tap on Install button from recovery main menu and install the DisableForceEncryption_Treble.zip file. FAILED, still the Xiaomi bootloader with vol+&power, despite ok message after fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
