Hello,
I'm a touch confused on the installation for this. Throughout reading the dev thread, I see a lot of people talking about installing the framework... but it seems to do more with language packs than anything else...
So my question is, my language is English US, and i don't need any other language packs, so do I still need to install the framework?

I'm one of V8.1 users. If you mean language only...
After installation, languages I can see from the setting are English (both US and UK) and Chinese. As I didn't flash the language pack, I can say you just need to flash the ROM. In addition, English is most used language across countries in this world so believe English is default in each ROM/release.
Hope I'm clarified.
Yeah, that's what I was a bit confused about because some people are talking about the "framework" (I think the file is called westcriptsframework-res.apk) and then some are relating that to a language pack.. and since westcript's introduction post for the rom is unorganized, it makes things quite confusing. ><
I installed this ROM without any of that Framework stuff no problems. Just make sure you follow the instructions to a tee
first I want to apologize for my bad English
well, I have this rom and i want to flash (if possible) a langpack or something like because i tried with the app "morelocale2" and dosen't work
Hello guys, i have problem. 'm not newbie in android system, but i am not developer too so, here is the thing, can someone add european languages to LEWA rom? is it hard, or is it easy to make? bcs lewa is only in english and chinese, and this rom is very good and popular, so it would be great to see european languages in it.
Its not really hard that couldnt be done. But its troublesome and need alot of work. U need to decompile each and every apks, modify xml to translate every language string to your preferred language and compile back. Thats how miui got unofficial english pack long time ago.

Hmm, I would love to do this. I can decompile stuff but I don't know what to edit :-( do you think you could pm or write it here what has to be edited? And another question is, there are only Chinese and English languages in keyboard settings but there are all kind of languages available in the web. How can I get them into the Rom? Where is this File that makes a Rom speak multilanguage?
Help would be very welcome!
Greetings!
(For this I would blow the dust from my Ubuntu Laptop)

Guys , if it will take ur time, and its troublesome, dont do it i can wait for the update from chinese developers < if it wil be?> anyway thanks for your help, greetings from Poland ^^
Yes ok..
But where is this file that applies system wide?? I mean, I don't want to change a name of an app.. I need the Rom to switch from English to, in my case, German.
Desperately going to ask google now
