MXQ - 4K Google account - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

Hi all, my MXQ-4K device has stopped being signed into my google account.
When I attempt to re-add the account it gets into a loop of going between add account and selecting Google.
I have reset the device to factory settings about 4 times and I am still getting this issue. Does anyone know of a workaround for this?

No Google option on Hero when creating contact

When i create a contact on my Hero there is no option to save as a Google contact, only Phone or SIM and so new contacts entered on the phone don't sync with Google.
I have tried clearing and re-entering Google account settings but no luck
Any suggestions??
please try to use another gmail account (to test the best would be, to use a newly created).. what happens then?
I had that a few months back and after a week of trying to find a fix for it the only solution anyone could come up with was a factory reset.
I did this and it fixed the problem - plus my phone was running a lot smoother and its been fine ever since!!

Several people have reported this issue in the past. It would seem that if you did not choose to sync contacts with Google at initial phone set up, you do not get the Google sync option and trying to set it up after the event doesn't help.
A wipe and fresh set up may help, though I'd advise a nandroid backup if you have a custom recovery image, so that you can restore if it doesn't help.

Click to collapse
That wasnt my issue.... I had the option to start with and created many contacts on my phone - setting them up as a Google contact.
Suddenly after a few weeks of owning the phone, the Google option disappeared, leaving me with Phone or SIM.
A factory reset was the only thing I could find to fix it.

Thanks Felikz - that worked.
I created a new googlemail account, deleted the cache in the Google Apps screen, logged in using the new account details then immediatley deleted the cache again and logged in using the original account details and hey presto when i create a contact the Google option is there and no need to wipe the phone!
Thanks again.

[Q] Unable to unlock with Google account sign-in - tablet reboots

Hello,
I'm always skeptical of folks asking for methods to bypass a locked tablet's lockscreen, so let me state that this post won't be one of those.
My 4-yo. locked my TF201 today by entering the incorrect pattern several times, and when I tried to unlock the tablet by signing in with my Google account, the screen appears to turns off and it is rebooted. It only reboots when I enter the correct password. After searching transformerforums and here, I've concluded that this isn't the intended behaviour. Resetting to factory will be a nuisance but not really a big deal, but I would like to know if this problem has been encountered by anyone else and what I can do to avoid it next time.
The tablet is running Virutous Prime ROM with an unlocked bootloader.
The tablet is using a Google account that was created with an external email address (if this is not familiar, you can read about it by searching for "expand2web create-google-account-without-gmail"). I can log in to my Google account and external email account using a browser.
I didn't set the tablet to use the Google account when I first booted it; I set up the Google account about a week later.
The tablet doesn't synchronise anything with the Google account - contacts, calendar, etc.
The tablet is connected to my wireless network because it's been receiving emails while it is currently locked.
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing the problem? I suspect it's the Google account not being a "GMail" account, but I can't test that hypothesis.

[Q] Hangouts - Couldn't connect to the server

Hello everybody,
I am having some problems with hangouts on my Nexus 5 and also on google plus website so not sure what the problem is but I get an error when I am trying to access the app wich say it "couldn't connect to the server" and I tried to factory reset the phone removing and re-adding the account restarting the phone, I also deactivated both hangouts and google play services and tried to reinstall the apps but nothing seems to work.
The phone is not rooted and everything is standard as the Nexus 5 arrived.
Now what I did before this error appeared is that I added gmail to my google account, before I used just an email from another host so not sure if this has something to do with it?
I also created a new google account and hangouts worked with that account but still not with my real google account.
Anybody that have any solutions to my problem?

[Q] My App List Missing After Account Change

Hello people,
I recently bought a Note 3 16GB, I let my brother open it for the first time, but apparently he entered his gmail account instead of mine. I thought I would just hard reset and start it properly since I didn't know what else he had done.
I did factory reset and proceeded, but as I found out, Play Store My Apps section kept loading forever.
Apparently since he entered his gmail account first, all apps are bound to his account, that means my list is going to be empty unless I update them each one by one, which I can't because I know from my recent phone (Note 2) there are apps that don't show up on phone screen(hidden services that occasionally require updates)
Is there a way to make my phones' apps show on my play store?
Is framework wipe what I need?
Is this what your looking for ?

Pro1X day 1: unable to log into Google account (solved)

ETA: Workaround: take the SD card and SIM out during setup.
Hi all, my spouse received their Pro1X today (stock ROM). The build quality seems excellent, and they're super pumped about the keyboard and excited to make it their primary device. However, they immediately ran into an issue: they can't log into their Google account, either during first-boot or afterwards. Wi-Fi connects and we can load web sites in Chrome, but the Google login flow gives them the old "there was a problem communicating with google's servers" error.
We tried a few different ways of adding the account, did a factory reset, and even Google's "DisplayUnlockCaptcha" tool. Any thoughts on what might be going on? We can log into the account in a browser tab, but any attempt to add the account to the phone fails. We tried checking for Android system updates and got "updates are temporarily unavailable please try again later".
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
