SM-G925F stuck on bootloop, Odin fails at flashing any file. - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm copy-pasting my own post from Reddit, because it seems that i already wrote everything i could to describe my problem:
Code:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..

I tried almost everything. I can't get PDA/CSC numbers out of the phone because it's bricked, and i can't access android on it.
I tried to flash with those softs:
G925FXXU4DPH9_G925FPRT4DPH9_PRT
G925FXXU5EQF1_G925FPRT5EQDR_PRT
G925FXXU6ERD1_G925FPRT6ERC1_PRT

AP_G925FXXU6ERG1_CL13830439_QB18898846_REV02_user_low_ship_meta
Odin versions i have tried:
Odin3_v1.85
Odin3_v3.09
Odin3_v3.10.6
Odin3_v3.10.7
Odin3_v3.11.1
Odin3_v3.12.7
Odin3_v3.13.1
But no luck.
I tried extracting BOOT.IMG file out of those packages and using /tar-Tool/ from XDA Developers to pack it up again. Next, i have put Boot.tar.md5 into AP section of Odin, booted my phone to download mode (held volume down, home and power button until selection screen of restarting or continuing came out, then i've hit volume up). I pressed start button on Odin and it doesn't even try to flash Boot.img file. Other files like sboot.bin are flashable. I am powerless.
Another thing i tried was to use Smart Switch. Any version of it - both old and new ones. But it just says that it's incompatible with my device. I mean, what the hell, the phone ITSELF asks to be emergency recovered using Smart Switch and Smart Switch points middle finger at me saying it's incompatible with SM-G925F...
Download mode top-left corner text:
Code:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G925F
CURRENT BINARY: CUSTOM
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
Secure Download : Enabled
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0 (0x0000)
RP SWREW: B:6 K:2 S:2
I can't take the phone to the boot menu anymore btw.
-----------------
Edit #1:
I have tried unpacking boot.img and repacking it with cygwin and tar-tool for odin. No luck. It's not even going to try to flash the file anymore. I'm getting "FAIL! (DeviceInfo)" at Odin.
I hope i won't be forced to play Chopin's funeral march...
-----------------
Edit #2:
Never use Dr.Fone, it's a scam. Good thing that i think with my wallet.
I am now trying to get latest 4 file software using SamFirm, will try to flash with PIT file from CSC
Result:
Code:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..

Whole operation took approx 8 seconds from START to FAIL.
-----------------
Edit #3:
I noticed i no longer need to go to Odin download mode in my phone. It's opened by default. It even shows a damn progress bar which gets stuck at approx 40%...
-----------------
Edit #4:
Something's flashing! Not what i want tho, but it seems like CSC and CP are flashing. Problem is that BL and AP doesn't want to flash.

Nothing's flashed. that modem.bin file was sent but suddenly it timed out? I have no idea what just happened.
CSC (starting with cache.img) also fails, but it doesn't even completes sending.

Edit: #5
Samsung support gave me a hint that CSC is Polish PLAY (PRT). It's something.png
I am trying to use Android ToolKit and repacking files separately into flashable .tar files. No luck yet.
Zerolte TWRP still not flashing. Odin 3.10.6.

Tried flashing TWRP into device via odin, same problem, it's just not even trying to flash or gets stuck on the file.

Yeah, it's not free. But not a scam.

I don't really want to pay for something that couldn't work. I could've pay after it finishes, but not before.

Try Odin 3.10.7 it seems to work well with G925F.
Try flash the latest BTU firmware. If that fails, try with PIT file.

sorry for my englisch

What are csc regions you used?

i have this problem

Hello everyone I have the similar problem
I have solved this problem by trying to sacrifice my time downloading the LATEST firmware from sammobile. this is very necessary because MAYBE you accidentally updated your bootloader to an invalid version.
after downloading the LATEST version of the firmware Open the package and extract all EXCEPT hidden.img
when extracting is complete Add all extracted files EXCEPT hidden.img as (WHATEVERNAMEYOUWANT).tar using 7zip
this should be done and last step is flash the .tar file you have archived in ODIN 3.13.1 as AP
Hope this helps
This is the firmware I have used
G925FXXU6ERF5_G925FAMO6ERF1_AMO
The 6 ERF5 represents the binary every firmware has binaries whatever you have in your phone in download mode it appears how much binary u have
PS sorry for my english

[Q] Accidentally Flashed to "Phone" Instead of "PDA" in Odin - Bricked
I was flashing the original unrooted TouchWiz ROM back to my phone, but accidentally put it in the "Phone" instead of "PDA" slot. Now the phone only says "Firmware update failed" and in Odin flashing a ROM to PDA also fails.
So I need a "Phone" ROM for the SCH-i605. Where can I get this? Please help. Thank you.
Re: [Q] Accidentally Flashed to "Phone" Instead of "PDA" in Odin - Bricked
Weres it falling in Odin now? What step or error messages. If it's sboot you need the alternate restore root66 file.

I'm gonna bet you are on the latest ota with a locked boot loader. Which is why it's failing at sboot

I just redownloaded that file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35265728 (one one that says Download Me and not Mirror 1 or 2) and it still fails at sboot.bin
Edit: I'm an idiot. I read your post wrong. I thought you meant that the link was an alternate way to restore, not to use the file called Alternate Restore. I'll go download that now.

Oh great, the download died literally on the last megabyte. It said disconnected from the server, and I couldn't get it to reconnect...
So now it's time to re-download the ENTIRE file for the last piece of the very last megabyte...
Okay, I flashed it and it's all working. Do I still need to unlock the bootloader, or did that ROM do it for me?

[Q] Fixing GS4 soft brick

Hey guys, long time lurker here, and finally made an account to get some help :/
It seems like I softbricked my phone today, and I have been unsuccessful at trying to recover it through Odin.
I was trying to install the GS4 GPE (KK 4.4.3) when I accidentally wiped my System (with my cache, data, and dalvik) and then turned my phone off. My phone wouldn't go past the "Samsung Custom" screen, so I tried to boot it into Download mode for a full recovery via Odin. I've been following the thread by Surge regarding using Odin with NC5, and it keeps failing on me
When I try to boot it normally now, it comes up to a screen that says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again".
If I try to do a Full Wipe using Surge's guide on Odin and NC5, it gives me this:

I've tried this multiple times, and it either stops at NAND Write Start into a Complete(write) operation failed, or it just gives me that response after Get PIT for mapping.
What I know for sure:
- I am on NC5, rooted and safestrap 3.72
Any ideas? Maybe my only option is to cancel my contract and get a new phone? Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT 1: I tried Odin again for the hell of it and seems like it got little further before failing. I got to sbl1.mbn and sbl2.mbn before hitting "Complete(Write) Operation failed"

Try booting into download mode and plugging the phone in to your computer and running "Emergency Firmware Recovery" and "Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation" in Kies under the "Tools" tab. They will both fail, that is okay. Just follow the steps for both as far as it will let you. I have been in your exact situation (not turning my phone off after wiping, but the yellow triangle and firmware error message) a couple times and for some reason this seems to reset the phone or something, allowing you to run the odin program. Also, make sure you are using Odin 3.10. Im not sure the GPE Rom you are trying to flash is even compatible with NC5, I have not seen one on the threads that is except for one that Gigilie ported and I think that one was a 4.4.4 port, though I could be wrong. What is the link to the thread you were trying to flash? Let me know how it goes.

@aneeqkhan I know this thread is a bit dated now, but nobody has replied to you question either? I am trying to recover my friends Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925I, his bricked after a failed standard OTA update. Flashing stock firmware worked for about 1 week then the whole thing crashed and is un-bootable. Attempting to flash the exact same firmware again in hopes that I could boot into recovery (recovery by button combination DOES NOT WORK!) so was hoping to just boot and factory reset (I was thinking that maybe a data corruption was the cause we didn't wipe his phone because he didn't back it up)...upon putting the device into download mode and flashing the exact same firmware package that worked the week before I get the same error that you are getting? Not only that but none of the claimed fixes online for these devices has worked!?
Note: This is a 100% stock device never had anything flashed to it before I got it and still hasn't had anything custom flashed to it either
I am more interested now if you managed to recover your S6 and if so how did you do it?

[Q] S6 Edge (SM-G925F) Upgrade problem

I downloaded Lollipop 5.1.1 from SamMobile.com. Upgrading from 5.0.2 using ODIN 3.10.6 - the upgrade failed and now the device is soft bricked. I can still access the recovery (HOME/PWR/DN VOL), but can't apply the 5.0.2 stock ROM - that keeps failing too with SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE:2, BINARY:1 appearing on the device.
I'm not fussed what version 5.0.2 or 5.1.1 gets installed, but how can I get the device working properly again?
All help appreciated.
Update: I've tried using ODIN to upload the stock image and get the following:

you can't downgrade only upgrade
Thanks for the reply. So how can I push the 5.1.1 upgrade to the device?
if you can't flash your 5.0.2 means 5.1.1. firmware is already flashed..if you had problems with the 5.1.1 firmware you must delete the hidden Img..here is an example

I downloaded 5.1.1 firmware from sammobile and ODIN 3.10.6. when i connected the phone with PC for flashing, all drivers were already updated. Then i hit start after selecting ROM n it failed on the step as mentioned in OP. I tried booting up the phone but it didn't. Then when i again tried flashing the rom after booting in download mode, the error that i mentioned in my earlier post appeared (including error of PIT). Since then the phone does not even shut down. It either boots in download mode or stays at the error screen stating something about something went wrong with the software update and use smart switch.... something like it.... any suggestions.
EDIT: I was running stock 5.0.2 firmware unrooted....

Hi,
Exactly same problem here with my gt8730. But i was running Cm13 and twrp 3. I tried the two previous debrick images for rom 4 and 5.1 with no success. Exactly the same message. And now i was trying to flash the PIT... same error.
SD with debrick image steps:
1 - Usb Cable on. Battery on. Press Power button.
2 - Vibrate, release battery and the power button.

after this ODIN detects. And the result is the same that Canoas reported. The result is the same with both debrick images. Should i use a debrick image for CM13? I dont have one.

I believe @cyberc5 problem is the same as @aureljared . The phone NAND simply got corrupted. How do I know this? Easy, if you were running CM13 with TWRP, the "CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD" line should say "Yes (X Counts)".
You should try to nand erase the Emmc
