Dear colleagues,
I use my phone for payments on NFC card terminals but the problem is that I have no feedback after payment is done. I can hear the beep in some shops but in all other shops I have to wait for cashier's confirmation that everything is OK. Is there any way to activate a notification for NFC payments?
Thank you in advance!

Hi all!!
I am hoping someone can help or advise on my problem.
I got a phone this week (s2 gt-i1900p). Its a contract phone my carrier (orange) have apparently put a bar on my account meaning there is a bar on my phone also. They ask for proof of ID which has been sent through. But is there a way to by-pass it?? I have had it unlocked because i want to use two providers (not scamming the network or anything dodgy). My question is if that affected it? My phone is not rooted or anything, i used an unlock code to unlock it and it worked fine on the other carriers sim until this afternoon. Orange say i've gotta wait until they verify my identity, i rely on this phone and at present can't call or text on any sim I get "emergency calls only" or "cannot connect to network. Try again later." I would really apreciate it if someone could tell me if there is a way to get up and running again or give advice.
Thanks in advance
AnnieL.

If there is a bar across the phone. It means that the provider suspects that the phone may have been stolen so thatthey barred the imei from working.
The inei ban will extend to all providers in the country as the ban will be enforced by all carriers in your country.
You need to resolve the issue before they will remove the bar. Other wise you will need to buy or use a different phone.
Thanks.
I didnt expect a reply so quickly.
This phone is a pay monthly one with line rental. I ordered it direct from my provider. Its only been connected since Tuesday, so only a few days. They have done random fraud checks and I have been unlucky enough to be one of those picked at random. I was instructed to send identification to my providers fraud team via email, as requested I have done that. I am now being told I have to wait 24hrs and I should be re-instated. I was told two hours initially. But I cant access my account for billing and i have no use of an alternative phone. I guess I will jist be at the mercy of my carrier.
Thank you very much for the reply to my post, it was very nice of you to take thw time to so so!!
Kind regards
AnnieL.

I'm almost owner of a Samsung Gear S thanks to buying a new TV
Trying to be clever so i ordered a second SIM for this watch before it arrives. I ordered after phone contact with my provider a DualSIM card
But....is this the way to go? I'm not too familiar with Dual-SIM's. I know how those phones works of course but in two different devices that are connected in different ways?
Any feedback on this subject would be appreciated, maybe i can change my order if needed after reading your comments and/or experiences!
Thanks!

Sadly, in the US, it is illegal to sell more than one sim card per number, so we get a separate phone number for the phone that can be called directly, or that the main phone can forward calls to.
I imagine in your case, either the phone and watch ring at the same time or, as usually with two sims, your main device will ring first, then the second one after a preset number of rings.
I'd be interestd which of these two it is.

Okay....let you guys know when my watch arrives...I dunno if it before or after Xmas [emoji10]
The only way to have it ring simultaneously even when not connected by bluetooth is to use Google Voice.

Can you explain this?
Because after installing my Dualsim in my Samsung S4 Active and Samsung Gear S i'm only able to receive phone-calls directly on my Samsung Gear S when my phone is OFF (or in Aerplane mode).
Of course when connected to my phone it will ring on both devices. I think this is not a restriction of Samsung but of the Sim that is provided.
It would be great that if i leave the house without the phone i would be able to take the phones with the Smartwatch (and what is the use of the Dual-Sim option in the Smartwatch then?)
I'm trying to work out exactly where the NFC chip is in the S6 Edge as it seems hit & miss when I try & pay for something using contactless in shops.
I don't know whether to hold the top part of the phone near the NFC-enabled Simcard to the contactless reader, or some other place?

Looking at tear down photos, it appears to be located next to the camera module, opposite of the flash. It is a gold square.

I just had a play around with an NFC tag and the most reliable place for it to be detected is in the middle somewhere between the samsung logo and the centre of the phone.
Thank you very much for your efforts in finding the location of the NFC chip.
So I just need to make sure I touch the NFC reader at roughly just above halfway in the centre?
Hello!
Is there any way to unlock contactless payments with this watch in Europe? I read that it is mandatory to have a bank account in China.
Any ideas?
Hi there!
I've got this phone recently and it's cool but sometimes I have little problems which annoy me a lot. I've got problems with NFC it's so laggy and often works not on the first try. But what really bothering me it randomly asks for my fingerprint while payment. Sometimes I can use NFC payment without any fingerprint requirements (except screen unlock ofcourse) and sometimes it asks my finger and I need to unlock my phone again and sometimes I have to ask cashier restart payment while people behind me waiting in line. I've noticed that this doesn't depend on the payment amount it's really randomised. How can I turn it off?
