Hello Folks,
Ive got a Dell Venue 8 7840 which is kinda bricked. I can enter the Recovery mode on the Device and the Intel Phone Flash-tool wont recognize the tablet.
I tried to follow this Guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/dell-venue/general/how-to-unbrick-dell-venue-8-7840-t3323249 , since the flash-tool wont recognize the tablet i am kinda screwed.
I installed the Intel USB Driver for the tool and i have the files from the guide.

So atm i might need someone who can help me. im new to this stuff and have no clue how to fix these problems.

I have similar problem with my newly arrived Streak 5. The screen stuck at the dell logo when trying to boot after applied superboot. I am able to enter fastboot mode however. I followed the instruction from this link to root my streak:

Hi guys,
I just bought two brandnew Cube U27GT S (MTK 8127) tablets and tried to install a custom rom. Unfortunately the tab hard bricked while trying to flash it with SPFT. Now I can´t turn on the tab anymore - all black. I even can´t open the recovery mode and Win 7 doesn´t found the tab anymore, it shows unknown device in the device manager!?
Meanwhile I deinstalled all MTK drivers with usbdeview and installed them again with the help of the second tab. But it has no effect of the damaged one it´s still an unkown device.
Maybe anyone has an idea how to unbrick it? Would be great to get any help! :crying:

I have the same problem can only get into recovery, factory reset does seem to do anything still hangs on boot, looks like I need to update via sdcard?
I received a free Skytex Skypad 7" tablet and promptly attempted to flash a custom rom and proceeded to brick it. I am curious as to where to post for further help.
It is a MT8127 chip (if that is helpful at all). There is not a power light or anything on the tablet so I am not sure if it is even charging. My win7 laptop can no longer recognize the device. I have installed the latest VCOM drivers and the recovery image from Skytex's website, but I cannot get the SP Flash Tool or the SP Multitool to recognize the device.
If this tablet is as bricked as I think it is, anyone have any ideas for what else I can do with it (part wise maybe)?

I'm getting desperate! I tried to install jellybean on my Dell Streak 7 using the ROM Manager method described elsewhere on the site. At first, I could not get the zip file to work. I tried both of giveen's files, the last was Android422_Dell_Streak7_Windows.zip. Now ROM Manager is stuck in recovery mode and my laptop does not recognize my tablet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
so I was installing shaunMTs rom from freaktab on my daughters tablet and when I did the flash instead of rebooting back into recovery to flash rom it just turned off I was tolod by shaunMT that using rk tools I might bring it back problem is I cant get any drivers that will work with the tablet in current state the pc recognices it as an android but that's it I tried using rkandroid 1.37,Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.6 , RK3xxx_firmware_tools_5.99.07.00, hell not even the SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1420 from the nextbook page recognizes it or theres no way to know I think so what can I do or what should I do laptop is running windows 10 by the way idk if it matters thanks for any help its greatly appreciated as I keep getting asked by my daughter every day if the tablet its fixed thanks again
