I made a backup of my phone with LOS16 on twrp. I backed.up "boot, system and data", then when I go to restore I load it up and the phone restarts to the "pocophone" startup screen. After waiting the phone goes to fastboot mode.
How. Do I take a proper backup on POCO with twrp so I can switch rims easily?

Go with the default settings for backup in TWRP. You will not have any issue. But one word of caution, use the same version of TWRP for backup and restore. Otherwise you MAY face issues.

First of all turn it off, hold volume up + power untill you feel (1+) 3 vibrations, and charge.
What firmware version you had before?

I charged. I was previously using Honami MW HD™ V8 .. with nemesis 6.3.. I don't know why this happened. I have flashed several different ROMs earlier but no problem like this whatsoever occurred.
Oh and also, when i first flashed the ROM last night, I was using an older version of Flashtool. But then later i downloaded the latest version and flashed with it too but the result was still the same.

I would think it's the fact you did not clear data so you can try just that (exclude everything and just leave all clear options checked) or do full flash.

There 2 choices:
Have the data and not be able to use the phone.
Or, lose the data and be able to use your phone.
Up to you which you choose.
It's not like you didn't know it is advised to back up your data before flashing ROM

Try to flash the kernel you had, and perhaps the ROM too without wiping data, it's a long shot but nothing to lpse other than your time.
BTW what data are you worried about, some may be backed up on your google account.

thank you in advance!

I never ever have seen such a screen
But I would guess that something went wrong when flashing 10E or the patch.
I recommend the following:
- Check if TWRP is still installed
- If yes, format data again
- Re-flash SuperSU or no-verity-opt-encrypt-2.1.zip
- Reboot
If you lost TWRP, you have to flash it again, format data etc.
I've done all the steps you have listed few times but never encountered this problem. Can you even access the TWRP menu? Maybe ask Miustone the developer of HD24? Please tell if you can access the TWRP and your files

thank you for sharing .. do you mind if I post this to the File Depot for others ?
Also this is KIW-L21 KIW-L21C432B340 correct ? Does it include stock recovery or no ?
Thank you very much. I will try to Restore this and give you info if it work
It's restore without problem. But it's the same issue: Boot loop.
PS. Why in boot logo, first letter changed to red. When i'm bricked my phone all of letters were white. Maybe I should install C185? I'm from center of Europe.

I'll tell you what I did and you can decide if this contains stock recovery. Me device came with C432B140. I downloaded C432B340 and used the dload folder to upgrade. I then flashed twrp onto the device and took a backup. So I am not sure if stock recovery still exists in the file. I am an amateur so I am not very sure. But if you think this will help others then yeah sure you can post it to the file depot. Glad to be of help.

If you bought the device in europe then why do you want C185 ? If I understand it right C185 are middle eastern models. I bought my device in Germany if that info is of any help to you. As far as the boot loop and the red letter goes, I am sorry . I didn't face any issues.

Stock recovery cannot be backed up with TWRP as it is replaced once you flash TWRP. You also cannot use EFS of other phones. It will destroy your IMEI.

You can backup stock recovery by booting TWRP and not flashing it.
And you are correct DO NOT RESTORE EFS from another phone to yours.
/cust is ok just not oeminfo or efs1 or efs2
All this talk is mostly useless he is going to need a full update.app of B340 to get his working. I know it sucks waiting but he made many mistakes along the line before he came here for help.

Hello everyone
Yesterday while restoring a backup of my rom, I also restored the firmware (didn't know I wasn't suppose to do that :/) and lost my IMEI etc.
I fixed that by flashing a stock rom suggested on another thread.
That fixed the IMEI and everything.
I restored my rom (correctly this time) and got everything back (I'm on Cardinal)
But now my gyroscope and accelerometer are acting weird.
I used an app to test and saw it was really erratic, jumping from side to side etc.
Now I have no idea where to go from here.
Any help would be great
Thanks

And I've read that the persist.img is what can fix the accelerometer... So confusing.

Hi guys
My mido vibration stopped working a week back abruptly. I didn't flash anything new back then.
Tried diagnosing it with change of vibration motor (with a technician) as well but the new one didn't work either. He did attempt a temporary replacement of its underlying chip as well but again it didn't resolve the issue.
Attempted clean reflash RR. Then clean reflashed Havoc 2.9 build as well.
After reflash in both the builds, didn't install Magisk (just to be sure some version could have been conflicting with the motor may be)...No solution
Attempted firmware upgrade to notably stable versions 10.2.3 and then downgraded to 9.6.3 as well. No solution still....
Could anyone advise what I could attempt next..?
Current environment: Havoc 2.9
No magisk installed as of now.
Nothing works.
Magisk 20.1 was installed but removed now... Still doesn't work...
Please help.

I don't really know what might be the issue , but I can suggest you to flash stock miui rom to see if it works there.
Don't forget to backup modem and efs partitions in case anything goes wrong with IMEI numbers. I hope that solves it.

First take a backup of EFS Am& modem partitions from recovery.
Wipe data, cache, dalvik & system. Flash miui rom, format data and flash orange fox recovery again. Boot into system.
That's it.
Is orange fox recovery necessary? I don't know.
I an currently using twrp 3.3.1.0
Will that work?
Furthermore just to tell
Vibration doesn't work even in twrp (which actually is very strong in twrp navigation generally)
Could this hint a hardware malfunction?
Also, i did see the efs partition but not modem one....

Should work, orangefox has aggressive stock recovery deactivation which isn't available in twrp I guess.
btw quote or mention me as I can't get any notification if you don't.

Have already told you pal, try flashing miui and see if it works.
Modem partition should be in orangefox. I can't confirm as I don't have the device anymore.
