How long Samsung will take to rollout Android Pai in Bangladesh? - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

Samsung started to push stable one ui update in December 2018.. Now one-third of January is gone.. But sign of one ui update in Bangladesh, it's really annoying... I know I can flash it through Odin but I don't want to that. Do somebody know when exactly we will get one ui update in Bangladesh?

You can ask your local Samsung support, but I don't think they will give you such information.

Optimus p500 to get update in may !![india]

We already know the Froyo-running LG Optimus One best-seller will be getting the Android Gingerbread update, but so far there was no telling when this might happen. Now, thanks to LG India we know that the update will most likely be happening in May
LG initially stated the Optimus One won't be upgraded to Android 2.3 because it doesn't meet the minimum requirements. However the company changed its mind shortly after that and promised us a Gingerbread update. It will come half a year later - somewhere by the end of May.
And just when we thought things are about to become crystal-clear LG posted another statement to confuse us. It seems the May thing is not confirmed and things might change.
We are hoping this second message has something to do with the LG legal department, who are afraid of the consequences if the company misses a promised release date.
Anyway, the most important thing here is LG is working on the Gingerbread update and it close to being completed.
thanks for the update... where did LG India mention a release in may???
Lucky Lucky , I called Singapore's LG Service Centre and they don't think it's possible for gingerbread to be updated.
But I'm being optimistic and I'm sure that Gingerbread update will happen.
it is confirmed in my country, as LG has publish an Ad with a promise that O1 is 'upgradeable' to Gingerbread.
thanks for posting old news. search before creating new thread in future.
also post the source of the news. in this case, gsm arena.

Gingerbread will be launching in July here in india
Can't wait for the offical upgrade...
What does this mean for people like me that have already installed 2.3.3 thru CM7 ????
It doesn't matter. As soon as we will have an official version, somebody will root it and create a flashable zip. So don't worry.
lets hope that the touchscreen bug is fixed otherwise the gingerbread update would be a waste

[Q] Official Touchwiz update release date?

Hey everyone, I know this may sound dumb, but I am really quite excited for the touchwiz update. When they (samsung) said "coming soon" last week, I assumed that it meant last week/early this week. However, its already Wednesday, and still no update! Does anyone have any idea when the official touchwiz update will be released? Thanks!
August 3rd - officially the day after when US can't play its debt

New emojis next month - how are they gonna be implemented?

Next month there's gonna be a huge emoji update including a middle finger. I reckon Apple is going to push an update to support them, but how's it gonna happen with us? I mean, is google gonna push an update too, or is there gonna be something else? And what about those who are rooted and can't update, or those who run a GPE ROM on an OEM device? Can anyone build a new emoji font with them inside?

This has been discussed over and over again. But still I doubt it. Here are my reasons to believe there might not be a MM for Alpha, (yeah I learned to be un-optimistic. LOL.)
1. A few number of Alpha was sold (Respective to other models on that list), so obviously Samsung might not be interested in small market.
2. Look at those models, at some point most of them received 5.1+ updates, Alpha is stuck at 5.0.2
3. Notice that G900F had MM approved ETA a month later than G850F as per 'leaked' sources, yet, G900F had MM way earlier, but Alpha doesn't.
4. The phones that have received MM, surprisingly in gsmarena, it's noted that "upgradable to 6.0.1", even Galaxy A5 (Released 2014, December) has "planned upgrade to 7 nougat" written. (Link: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a5-6761.php)
Somehow, they have been right all along. In Alpha's page? it's 5.0.2
5. this website, which, as far as i remember, first broke the news about potential marshmallow update of galaxy alpha, has updated the article. And there is no mention of Galaxy Alpha this time
6. From this website "There's still no word from Samsung on whether the Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will get the update."
Against all those odds, if Marshmallow hits Alpha, I guess we will be happy to at least have an official MM. At this point, logical reasoning is against hope. But, let's hope anyway.
Right now Samsung is dealing with way bigger things than the marshmallow update for the Galaxy Alpha and it's no surprise it hasn't been released yet, yes they are late.. too late but I'm 99.99% sure sooner or later they will realease a 6.0.1 firmware for our device. Just be patient.
Yes, I believe that the update will come Feb. 24, 2025. It is not so long, You have to be patient
I see no reason to be optimistic here

Update to Oreo

Anyone heard any rumors as to when our T-Mobile Note8's will be getting the Oreo update? I've looked online and have yet to find any predictions.
I hear the oreo beta program will start next month for the s8 which I'm a little upset about. I feel that the now the note 8 is the flagship device, Oreo beta should be on the note 8. The official release will probably be late January/early February if we're lucky
I don't care when it comes! I'm enjoying this phone as is.
I'd rather wait and have most bugs fixed, than rush the update and have some important functions not work any more and then wait on another update to fix the first one. Anything in particular In Oreo. that you're waiting for, or is it just newer must be better. Is it safe to assume they will patch current root exploit, because that maybe a reason for some to actually not update at all.
