I'm trying to find a way to root an ANS UL40 running 7.1.1 android for free. Can anyone help?
I tried: RootMaster, iRoot (This worked very well for my CoolPad Rogue), One Click Root, and KingRoot (This worked wonders for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0).
Also I have Odin but I don't know how to use it for this model.

Hey,
I've been trying to root my Samsung Galaxy Pro (GT-B7510) using z4root and Super One Click root, and both seem to fail. SOC freezes after a few steps, and z4root doesn't seem to do anything.
I've previously rooted several Samsung Galaxy S, S II and Spica, all by flashing a rooted kernel via Odin. On some of these devices (mostly S and S II) I've also tried the methods mentioned above and all resulted in the same problems, making me use the Odin method. (I've tried SOC on more than one computer)
Is there any rooted kernel I can flash to my Galaxy Pro? Or is there any way to get these 2 methods to work?
Thanks in advance!
Solved by using Super One Click root on a different, Windows XP machine.

Hi,
I have a fresh , not upgraded Galaxy S6 Edge in its box.
Currently I use my S5 rooted without any issues. As I like to use my phones rooted, I'd like to root this one as well.
But I am not sure which root method is easily applicable with minimum limitations.
For example, I need to use Samsung Allshare cast dongle and it needs original recovery image.
So I prefer to root without recovery change , or if I have to change recovery, I'd like to revert it back to original.
So, how should I root my S6 Edge ?
And, as it is not upgraded yet, should I root then upgrade or upgrade then root ? Which one first ?
Thanks.
Btw, my device is G925FQ , sold in Turkey specificly.
Hi,
I'd appreciate any ideas.
Thanks.
Hey guys,
I'm already rooted and running stock OG6, but I came across this "kingroot" root application and I hadn't seen anything about it on the T-Mobile S5 forum. Does anybody know if this works on our devices?

Apparently it works on the S4 running lollipop.
On another note, do custom recoveries like twrp and philz still work with lollipop/OG6? I can't seem to get one to stick (at least from the phone app flashers). I haven't tried the odin method.
Thanks!
Hi, i wanted a little help from the pro guys out there.
I recently bought a Galaxy s6 (sm g920f). It was on Android 6.0.1 and i should be able to upgrade to Android 7.0. However, the software update button doesn't respond i.e it doesn't even open at all like no response at all. Then i used Smart Switch. No help there too. Then i decided to update it manually(my first try). Downloaded the firmware from Sammmobile for g920f and when everything was ready then i discovered in the download mode that the device is G920P, not G920F. I almost flashed it. Then i went to check if there were updates for the firmware of G920P. I found them and i discovered that most of the G920P were the American models of Sprint and Virgin etc but i couldn't find any sign of the Sprint/Virgin apps or logo etc. Then it occurred to me that the phone might be rooted but my brother also has an s6 which is rooted and samsung health doesn't work on it because of it being rooted. But my Samsung health app works just fine. I downloaded Root checker and it says "root hasn't been installed properly". So now i'm confused as to which firmware should i download from SammMobile and will it affect my root? If the phone is of Sprint(which i think it is) will i be unable to use my local SIM.?
Thanks in advance.
