[SOLVED] "Greenify is using battery" notification - Greenify

When I installed the last update (4.5.1) to Greenify, it added a new notification as the changelog said, which I don't want or need, so I disabled its category as instructed. However, that caused a new permanent notification to appear from Android System: "Greenify is using battery". Why is this happening and how can I make it go away? If it matters, this is on LineageOS 15.1 on a OnePlus 3T, rooted with Magisk, and with Greenify installed in /system/priv-app.
UPDATE: When I upgraded my phone to LineageOS 16, this stopped happening.

I am witnessing same...any solution ?

A simple little bug on CM 13~ (or not?)

EDITED~
Hi all, thanks for stopping by for seeing this (a very long thread). I got a bug while using my i9300~
The bug IS my phone goes to hot reboot WHEN my mobile data is switched on for a while.
What I was doing: (everytime before it)
1. Switched On my data and H+ indicator appears.
2. Open ANY app but does not responding~ Just freezing there~ :3
3. I try and managed to kill it~(By swipe the app away on recent app menu)
4. Open the APP again and hot reboot appears.
Aftermath:
It show my network carrier but different way~ like
No SIM Card | UMobile
(Screenshot i will include later if it happened again)
BUT~ not everytime i enable mobile data~
CM Nightly that i used:
1. 20160117 nightly
2. 20160223 nightly
Yes it happens in this two versions~
Note:
I installed XPOSED and Boeffla Kernel~
Any ideas about this? Would be appreciated~ Thanks
It will most likely be software related. Because you have so heavily modified your software the issue will be hard to trace.

Not a CyanogenMod bug
Hello and thank you for using Q&A,
please do not report bugs, if you have XPOSED or Boeffla kernel installed. You can uninstall both or do a clean install of CyanogenMod 13. This is not a CyanogenMod 13 Bug, as no one else has this bug.
Kind regards

No cut off paths on Greenify 3.2.0

Hi, I'm using the last version of Greenify on stock marshmallow rom and I'm not able to cut off paths anymore for apps that wake up by themselves.
There is no "scissors" icon anymore.
Wake up tracker is enabled in settings but I can't enable "enhanced wake up tracker" (a message appears "not supported by the rom")
I'm in root + boost (xposed) mode and I bought donation package.
No problems with previous versions.

Also running a near AOSP stock MM ROM with root/Xposed and have access to both features. Suggest uninstalling/reinstalling Greenify with a reboot between.

Thanks for your answer. I did that and installed the last new version (3.2.1) but no effects... One change : when I try to enable enhanced wake up tracker a pop-up appears for one second ("Applying... ") but it still failed saying it's not supported by the rom.
I come from LineageOS 14.1 and I flashed the whole stock marshmallow firmware. Maybe it has something to do with this...
Weird : I tested adb commands to enable wake up cut off for non-root devices (although i'm rooted+xposed)
adb -d shell pm grant com.oasisfeng.greenify android.permission.READ_LOGS
adb -d shell pm grant com.oasisfeng.greenify android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

Results : cut off paths are back (with the scissors icon) and I have informations on the opened apps ("UI opened xx seconds ago" "Service started by..."). With my "issue" I didn't have these informations anymore.
The strange thing is that I still can't enable enhanced wake up tracker in settings (same message as mentioned before).
Long story short : Although i'm rooted there is something that may block greenify to read/write settings in order to track apps so I have to manually enable wake up cut off via adb commands.

Interesting. I'm vacillating between a near-stock MM build and LinOS 14.1 on a couple devices and haven't run into this...yet. Obviously reduced Geeenify functionality on Nougat w/o Xposed. Appreciate you sharing findings; should be helpful should this issue arise. Hopefully others can offer insight into lingering wake-up tracker issue.
I'm on LOS 13 Greenify 3.0.5.
I noticed an app still started somehow even after I manually hibernate it. wake-up tracker is enabled, wake-up cut-off is enabled.
I'm facing the same issue on 2 Motorola G 2014 devices and 1 Moto E 2015, all on MM roms, root + xposed.
Same here, LineageOS 13 with root+Xposed and donation package, the feature is enabled and even enhanced tracker is enabled but the scissors never show up
Same problem here with Greenify 3.2.2 paid version!!
Samsung Note 3 Neo (SM-N7505) Lollipop 5.1.1 Root Xposed.
I hope on next version to fix it...

Advice please, accidentally installed Lineage OS as a Magisk module...

Hello all, only me again...
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
SM-N910F
Lineage OS 16.0
Snapdragon
As per the title, just installed lineage 16.0, poking around on the Magisk manager app, tapped the plus symbol under the module tab and somehow managed to touch the lineage .zip file (actually I did it on purpose just to test but I thought it would ask me to confirm!) and without warning, boom! it just installed it as a module (I think?) the log came up and it ran through the installation anyway. I rebooted the device and it seems to have made absolutely no difference, but my particular nature is making me want to find wherever it's been installed and remove it (to avoid problems it may cause in the future) but it's not showing up in the Magisk manager app.
Some advice would be much appreciated...

It is EU version. It-s very clear on the download page.
I installed using TWRP, easily. I formatted DATA, so I don't know if it is possible to install only by wiping. I recommend to backup using swift backup, and passing the backup to the PC. To avoid some encryption problems, if it happens.
EU version of course already comes with google services and you can flash the latest magisk version after the first boot, it will work.
So far, the battery is the same, maybe better. Can't tell precisely because had lots of video conferences today, so my SOT was only 5 hours (still 20% left), with some gaming and camera tests (gcam, which is working the same way as before).

Can confirm. Dirty flash worked for me as well.
Just had to erase data on a few system apps to make them work. Camera was one of them.
Am I right that there are no Super Wallpapers as well as the new multitasking available yet?

The screen-on-time and standby on MIUI 12 is dramatically improved...
SOT: 4h 30m
Standby: 26 hours standby.
Battery percentage: 52%
Apps that I use:
Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Browsing (Chrome) and Youtube.
I did not use any battery saving methods. No use of Dark-mode.
Does anyone know how to remove toggles from the control center? In the edit mode, taping all those minuses doesn't do a thing Thanks!
After all comments, seams that this ROM is good daily driver for me downloading anyway

Can't run UserTesting app on rooted phone, even with Magisk

I test app builds for (a little) income. The app I use to test builds is called UserTesting. The app records my screen during while I test builds.
Since rooting my phone, I've been unable to successfully complete a test. I accept a test, start the screen recorder, and then I get a notification: "Your test has been cancelled." I believe this is related to rooting, since I never had this problem before.
I've tried to fix it using:
Magisk Hide
Magisk Hide Props Config > Changing the fingerprint of my phone
By using those solutions, I've been able to run my banking apps. But I still can't get UserTesting working.
Theories:
Even though I've blocked UserTesting from seeing that my phone is rooted, maybe it still manages to do it via the screen recorder? Could that be?
My phone runs Android 10, but the fingerprint I chose was Android 9, because that was the latest available in Props. Could that be causing problems?
Does anyone know why this app isn't working and how I can fix it? Thank you.
My specs:
Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact
Running LineageOS 17.1 Unofficial 1.6
Magisk 20.4 (20400)
