Suddenly stopped working for me today. Shows the boot screen (background wallpaper) and have a few seconds closes. I've deleted and re-installed the app but still not working. I've rebooted my phone too, but no joy.
Anything else I can look at to try and get the app working? There's no message of any kind, it simply closes after a few seconds.
I have a Mate 20 Pro with version 9.0.0.187 of the software. I've had this for a while, and the last update of the AA app was back in Feb. At a loss for why it would just stop working.

the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly
it keeps FCing and restarting on its own, make the phone un-usable because everytime i try to press a button, it will freeze, put up this FC, and when i click "force close" it will close what i was trying to open, and the cycle starts over again
i'm stock with the new JI6 update via KIES mini, had no problems for 3 days, and last night the phone ran out of batteries while i was out of the house and when i got back, i plugged it in, turned it on and i got this FC as the phone was doing the start-up media scan thing.
it will show this FC everytime i reboot as well
under settings -> manage applications -> running services there is a service called 'contacts storage' which is governed by android.process.acore
that's the only other clue i could dig out
*edit* mine doesn't seem to have anything to do with facebook, however, i can't access my contacts as everytime i try, this FC will force me out of the contacts screen
I've seen them a lot of times. When I get them, I just re-flash a new ROM onto my phone. It usually happens when I do something stupid to my phone.
i didnt do anything to it! everything was working, even after i updated to JI6 ... nothing was broken till it ran out juice yesturday.
I'll get this when I do a Titanium restore and restore the system data by mistake.
This should be in Q&A not development.
Also, try clearing your caches in Clockwork Recovery

I received my phone from amazon a for a few days now. (coming from sprint epic touch 4g)
My phone is stock and unrooted.
I keep getting the message "unfortunately, battery has stopped working." its a popups as my phone hangs/ freezes for a min or more.
I can turn the screen off but nothing else is responsive. i can't go into menus or reboot when it hangs.
it would appear several times.
Using a battery app my temp hovers around 88 F
on the second day i did a factory reset and it still occurred . the 3rd day i decided to do a factory reset without app backup . i did selective install on specific apps.
At first i seems it was facebook, but after uninstalling it would still get hangs with the pop up message.
what gives.. Any clues??
Since Thursday, my mobile sometimes crashes (it restarts, and No Frills CPU-Control is telling me, that the reboot wasn't normal), when beeing in my pocket for a few minutes. When it happened a few times, I downgraded all Applications which I installed since Wednesday, but nothing helped. I didn't made any bigger chances to my mobile.
When checking SuperSU logs, I saw, that Greenify mght be the problem, so I blocked root access for the app. This didn't helped, but when I disabled the app, the crashes stopped. :good:
But today, it happened again. Are there any logs in Android, where you can view the reason for the crash.?
Does Android not safe any crashing logs? I can't really believe this
A few weeks ago my Z4 announced Bluetooth Share had crashed. It took me about a minute to realize that the Bluetooth icon on the right side of the notification bar had disappeared and that my physical keyboard stopped working. It would recognize every other keystroke every few seconds.
Searching Google, I found answers dating back to 2014 recommending me to clear the app's cache.
That plus cold rebooting the tablet.
That worked perfectly fine until last night when I got the same problem.
Now I can't clear cache, I can only press Clear Data. Every time I warm reboot, the app remains crashed. And every time I cold reboot, Bluetooth works fine for about 90 seconds and then I get the same crash notification.
Any suggestions or recommendations?
I'd rather not wipe my device but I will if it has helped anyone before.
Also, when Bluetooth Share crashes, the onscreen keyboard stutters every few seconds. Both, the Xperia keyboard and the SwiftKey keyboard freeze every few keystrokes.

....
So an interesting thing happened.
I took out the SIM I have in the tablet because I thought it was the SD card.
Tablet reboots and now the Bluetooth Share app took about 20 minutes to crash.
I've read somewhere that for this type of error, I should to clear the entire device's cache and not the individual app.
There's the "Cached data" that you can find in the Settings > Apps.
I tried this; it went down from 1.91GB to 3.12MB.
I tried rebooting again by removing the SIM.
the Bluetooth Crash was almost immediate after the tablet finished booting.
I guess I'll try wiping the device tonight.
I got my Xiaomi Redmi 3 in the middle of october 2016. Since then i've been using it every day. It had minor problems, like music app sometimes turns off by itself, data connection didn't want to turn on only with phone restart, but nothing major, that couldn't be temporarily fixed. But a few days ago i just wanted to browse instagram, i opened the app, and it just turned off instantly. So i tried reinstalling it. Nothing changed. I then tried to install an older version of the app. Still no change. So i decided to leave it be. I was talking to my father, that it should be reflashed because there is something wrong with it. He just pressed regular restart on it, but after that the phone died. I mean it died. It does not respond to charging, connecting to usb, pressing any existing combination of the three buttons. The screen and the status LED does not light up even for a bit. I tried to reflash it anyway with methods specifically for this situation, but it doesn't work either. In the flash tool installation of the rom just does not start. I think it's because my pc does not accept the driver, even from the official website, it just says in the device manager, that it's Android and it has that little yellow triangle. So it is visible for my PC through USB but no driver is accepted. What should i do?
Replace to new phone or carry your phone to customer service, but hey it's xiaomi
This wont help with your phone, but just wanted to leave a note for others. I was having the same issue with the Instagram app. I reinstalled the app, wiped caches, upgraded my ROM, downgraded the app, every tried a entriely differnet ROM. Nothign worked. Instagram would just crash a few seconds after opening. Really weird.
Heres how i fixed it: go to Airplane mode, open the app, logout, turn off airplane mode, log back in.
rarely fc it's okay. but when got often it's a major issue. might be emmc needs to be fixed
