x96 mini external antenna. - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

Does anyone have clear pictures of where to solder the wires to on the PCB? I have an x96 mini with 1gb/8gb. Every guide I've seen so far has a PCB with an internal antenna already connected and mine doesn't have an internal antenna like that

What is the external antenna connector standard?
I am trying to buy an antenna but I can't get my head around all the connector standards. What is the name of the one on Hermes? Anything like FME female or something?
Also, can anybody recommend any good antennas that would cover the 2100 band (for 3G) ?
It does not use a standard connector. Do a google search for 8525 external antenna. You will find cables that let you connect the 8525 to standard cell phone external antenna connectors. There are also some sites with external antenna kits that include the external antenna and the adapter cable. Here is one site with both: http://www.alternativewireless.com/cingular/cingular-8525-accessories.html.
Thanks
Thanks mate !
How about tytn vs tytn2
Does hermes share the same antenna connector socket as kaiser? (tytn and tytn 2)?

[HELP] the antenna cable connector came along with the antenna connector

Hello i have Samsung Galaxy S III i9300. Recently i was trying to put a new screen to it but when i tried to pop the antenna cable , the antenna cable connector came along with the antenna connector of the mother board.
Can that be fixed?
I am talking about the little circle shaped connector that it's a part of the motherboard.
Thanks.

Hello,
So I have the following Samsung Multimedia Dock, which was working fine since a year or more. It was used pretty much regularly with Galaxy SIV (either with stock or extended battery ). I guess after prolong usage and atmosphere condition the solder point on the micro USB connector internally got dry and got detached. Hence it stopped working.
Hence when opening it to have a look inside, I lost the sequence of 8 wires connected to the micro USB connector on both sides (4 on each side). The pins on the micro USB connector are marked numerically 1-8 , however I cannot see the same number on the main PCB, so I am at a loss to understand how to get them solded again , in which order and sequence.
It is I guess a 11 pin micro USB connector because the dock had HDMI, Audio Out, and USB in (OTG) connections and power charging all at the same time.
Case cracked open and the main PCB and micro USB connector are apart.
Close up of the PCB
PCB and microUSB
MicroUSB connector call it side A (4 small pin out number from 1-4)
MicroUSB connector call it side B (4 small pin out number from 5-8) (I was able to see which wires were connected on this side so I marked this side with a blue marker and did the same with the 4 wires loosely held on this side after detachment)
PCB wires close up. Total eight wires. Starting from right the order is Black->Yellow->Green->Red->Yellow->Black->Red->Green, each of the wire needs to go to a pin 1-8 on the micro USB connector.
I know there are no published schematics for this PCB and 11 pin Samsung connector, however I am relying on the electronic expertise of the gurus around to help and guide me.
Thanks for your guidance.

Verizon Galaxy S4 stuck using an external antenna.

So I ordered an external antenna for a USB modem that I use in my home, and I got curious. I attached the adapter to BOTH of the connectors individually to see how my service would improve, and I think it was a mistake.
I get no service whatsoever now. I actually have to put my phone up to the signal booster I have in my phone to get any service at all.
Luckily, I had another S4 and I changed out the motherboards so I didn't have to go without a phone.
I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to restore the functionality of the other motherboard's radio. Even if it means DIYing a solution.
Below is an image of the connectors that I attached the external antenna to. Can anyone help?
It doesn't look good:

You have damaged the connectors inside the antenna socket (very easy to do, as I found out). This has switched off the internal antenna and you have four basic options:
1. If under warranty, return it and hopefully they won't notice you messed it up and replace the motherboard.
2. Rig up a permanent external antenna using copper (or other) wire.
3. Fill the socket with solder to rejoin the connectors and re-enable the internal antenna.
4. If 3. fails, replace or completely remove the antenna socket and solder the transmitter/receiver to the internal antenna on the board (how's your micro-soldering?)
I messed up my 3G antenna, which is in the same position as R1 on your board, but on mine it is labelled L1 and I only have one socket. Your other one is for 4G, I think, so if you have messed up both it's double trouble.
Well, I suppose I've got nothing to lose by trying this out and failing. The only reason I want the other board is for the older baseband version, and the fact that I have safestrap installed on it.

Using android wifi module as external wifi for PC?

Yesterday I took apart old no-name tablet. I found a wifi module soldered to motherboard using 4 pins looks like 4 pins from ordinary USB. It's titled "Realtek RTL8188" and also some realtek external wifi adapters are working on the same chipset. And just a thought... Can I somehow solder it to USB to get it to work with PC as external wifi adapter? It could be cool if yes. I've tried soldering cabls of USB in exact order as they are on the plug, but everything gets really hot after a while plugged in my PC. Like I said, is there any way to get it to work?
I cant post photos nor links so can't show how it looks, but something more or less the size of pendrive. SOmething like 3rd photo if you write "RTL8188" in google images
Greetings
