Hi
I have purchased a wireless charging receiver.
On other phones it works just fine, but on the Motorola One it does not get recognized and does not charge my phone.
Any ideas what could I do to enable it?
It doesn't support wireless charging. Simple as that.

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if you guys have tried wireless charging on your Note 3 (QI). Does anyone know if any wireless charging charges as fast
as wired charging? The wired charging is incredible as im sure you all know but any wireless charging that is just as fast?
Thanks,
VinceC
Charging speeds depend on the charging mat that you use. The one I use at the moment only outputs at 1A, whereas the official Samsung AC adapter outputs at 2A. I can't really compare the charging durations as I charge my phone when I sleep.
my wired car charger...
Well I would say my car charger is the best one among them..as it charges my phone very fast even in the duration that i take to reach from my home to the workplace...I use the belkin one..and I really like it...it outputs as 2A..and that is which make me smiling...
Wireless charging max out at 640mAh using the wireless contact, wireless charging through the USB max out at 1000mAh.

Tried QI charging but IMHO the amount of heat is not acceptable.
wall charger will be fast. As said its about the Amp out put.
Think of it as speed. The higher the amp the faster it will go.
I do know that with wireless charging my phone gets hot while with the core it doesnt.
But i know its from the wirelessness its an induction type of charging.
I prefer wireless charging as wireless charging is a MUST for me as I have many devices and i am getting sick of plugging in wires.
wireless is not fast as the wired
I have 2 different wireless chargers and they work great. I use my USB 3.0 charger once in a while.

I second this.
Thanks guys yeah i did notice wireless charging gets my phone pretty hot.
So it was announced not too long ago that fast charging wirelessly will be coming soon. (http://www.theverge.com/2015/6/25/8844719/wireless-quick-charging-qi)
My question is, does anyone know if S6 edge will be supported once wireless fast charge products come out?
I'm guess I will have to buy a wireless pad that can do fast charging
Nop my guess is every phone out there is only prepared for standard wireless charging so this fast one must operate in a different way, is like fast charging by cables not every phone support it, even if they are charged by cable
I really like Qi wireless charging.
My all previous phones are QI enabled.
Now, I have Moto Z but I do not want to make it bulky, so do not want to use battery mod.
I purchased usb c qi receiver, but did not work.
I tried another one, also did not work.

Like the reviews mentioned about Moto Z, I am on the same boat.
I do not understand why...
qi receiver is just have a coil, generate power and deliver it to usb c, and phone should get the 5V power from it.
Is there anything blocking it from Moto Z itself?
The MotoZ does not support QI/aka "wireless" -charging by itself. I have the TUMI battery mod and THAT does allow wireless charging.
I am using this charger and it works fine.

No... I do not mean that..
I was talking about USB Qi Receiver pad. You can see it on the amazon link on my first thread.
I got the answer by myself.
I figured out, most of Qi receiver has short USB C connector. See the attachment picture.
Some phones are ok with short one, but Moto Z need regular size to connect inside of USB C port.
I purchased 4 of the receivers, and 3 of them has same short one, does not work with Moto Z.
Only one has a regular size one, and finally I made my Moto Z working with Qi.
Hey - just curious which one worked? Amazon link perhaps?
this one worked for me
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01G18149A/ref=pe_386430_205708660_TE_3p_dp_1
u might find it elsewhere as it is no longer available in amazon canada

Sorry for late response.
I've ordered some from China (Aliexpress) and they worked.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/SCE...32789643717.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.aq8Apt
This works fine so far. I am using it now.
One thing is, this charging receiver does not work with some specific qi chargers. It keeps disconnecting/connecting every 5 seconds.
I have total 5 chargers, and 2 of them does not work with this receiver. I purchased more "cheap" chinese qi chargers and they worked.
Looks like only cheap chargers work with this receiver..
Also, the charging speed is a little bit slow and sometimes generates heat a lot.
I will buy the Moto Mod for qi charging when it is released.
Can you repost the qi receivers that worked for moto z droid ie name/model? I am having the same problem, and the links do not work anymore
I just was wondering if I could do reverse wireless charging with wireless module, because I always see an option when I connect to my PC to do reverse charging.
If it would work then I would use wireless charging earbuds with my phone. (Sorry for no links, new account)
Wireless charging isn't possible with p20 lite, at least my model don't support it, and I never heard that p20 lite supports wireless charging.
But, if you connect something (wireless module, what's that??), then you are only one who can test it, and when you see reverse charging when connect phone with usb, then it's clear as day, you can use reverse charge when cable connected, not wireless..
The phone does not allowed wireless charging after few minutes of wireless charging. I tested on both my built in wireless charger on the car and external wireless charger. Battery in Settings says Connected, not charging. Wonder if anyone else has tested this. USB charging works fine. It's pretty useless if wireless charging can`t function correctly.

I don't have an issue charging wirelessly.
Maybe my car's wireless charger and another wireless charger, both not compatible with Pixel. Did you try wireless charger for car?
No, not in the car. Just used a crap one at the house. Charges slow, but does charge.
