Very slow screen wake-up after last security update - LG G6 Guides, News, & Discussion

I posted this in the T-Mobile section but got no replies and thought maybe it is not confined to T-Mobile phones:
Has anyone experienced slow wake-up after the last update? Mine is randomly slow ( but seems to be increasing) with a black screen and a thick white bar at the bottom before the home screen lights up. Pretty sure it started after the last security update.

[Q] Mozart Lock Screen lag

My brand new unbranded Mozart has terrible lock screen lag issues. Phone was perfect to start with then after the usual updates and 2 days later, is proving very hard to release the lock screen. I need to wait at least 5s until the phone starts responding. I have noticed it does the same when on the phone (i.e when the screen senses proximity and goes blank). anyone no of this phone having wake up problems etc.?
Quick update - if I swipe up the left hand side of the screen the lag seems to vanish! (for that unlock only).
i.e swipe with index finger from the bottom left above the back arrow upwards and the Mozart seems to respond better!
Wierd but true. Just wondered up this works for anyone else experiencing the same problem.
The lock screen hasn't been responsive on mine. Strangely, once passing the lock screen, the screen is responsive, so shouldn't be a hardware problem right ?
Then I installed the new update and I can't get through the lock screen anymore. It responded to some flicks, but never completely unlock. But the rest of the interface (after doing a reset) is responding as good as always.
A test using the camera button, the screen needed two and a half minutes before responding. That's more than twice the time needed to response from a reboot

i have a tmo_de mozart, and when i flashed it with an unbranded rom, problems with the screen lag appeared, now i flashed tmo_de back and its as good as its supposed to, after 1 month
Had all kinds of touch screen lag problems with my friends Mozart, but lastnight i flashed the stock ROM again and it seems to have VASTLY improved it!
It was like the above video, but now its a million times better, but still misses the odd first swipe when unlocking.

[Q] Lumia 800 Issues

Hi, ive had my Lumia 800 for a week now and must say im loving it. I switched from an iPhone and it was the Metro Interface that did it for me. I got the Lumia 800 but im having the following issues:
Touch Screen Issues
Ive noticed when scrolling around the screen launches things without me clicking. Simply moving my finer over clicks a link on web pages for example. At first i thought it was me and my fat fingers. But then ive noticed that if i press the back button the phone vibrates 2-3 times. If i then press and hold the back button the seems to be pressing it over and over again. Its very strange, If i press really hard it doesnt happen. Anyone else having this problem? Im hoping the recent firmware update resolves this but its not available for me yet.
Camera "PINK" Spot
Ive also noticed that the camera has a "Pink Spot" right on the centre of the screen, Its hard to notice when taking normal picture, but then when i hold up to white background its very clear. Anyone else having this issue.
Battery (resolved)
When i first got the phone my battery performance was very poor. After a full charge i only got 10 hours use. But it got better each day and after 1 week im now getting about 35 hours on general usage. This includes Wifi always on, 1 gmail account using push, bluetooth off, loads of txts and few calls a day.
Anyway, those are my issues, if anyone else has any thoughts on this it would be much appreciated.
Yes the capacitve screen is a bit too sensitive, can probably be fixed in the same way as other phones that have had this issue with software.
Pink spot isnt that bad on here, seems all camera phones suffer from this in certain lighting the iPhone 4 being the worst with its massive blue blob in the middle of photos

[Q] Backlight faulting

Has anyone else had issues with their back light faulting? I've searched and have seen that other sprint evo lte users have had issues with screen flickering, but my problem seems to be more serious that that. when i wake up in the morning the screen is blank. thank god i have a custrom rom installed and can manually mess with the status bar slider to get the backlight to turn back on. It just needs to be tweaked here and there. the backlight seems to only like to work on full brightness, if not, it will flicker like crazy. if i press with more pressure on certain parts of the screen the backlight turns off completely until i remove my finger. I dont think its a proximity issue since it'll just flicker sitting on a desk. Do I need to replace the screen? is this worth it? i havent dropped to phone or anything for this to default. I can upload a video later. gonna use my OG evo for that which is still kicken by the way
I realize this thread is incredibly old, but did you ever find a solution to the flickering problem? I just started seeing the exact same behavior, including the screen going dark when putting pressure on certain areas of the screen.
Thanks!
I have a PJ75100 doing this, but the screen does not function at all. I get the orange/green light while charging, and if I power it on it acts as if it's doing it's regular startup, but nothing shows on screen.
I did update the stock firmware with the latest release ruu, but still no screen.
I'd really like to get this one going as it's not the normal Jewel, it's the white and silver one, and my girlfriend wants it to replace her iPhone 5c.
Sent from my EVO using XDA Forums Pro.

lg g5 always-on display issue

hello everybody i have lg g5 H850 i noticed this problem with always-on display (the clock is displayed incorrectly and the screen wont respond until i put my hand on the light sensor so the always-on feature disappear) , all i want to know if this is just a bug or something else
and thanks for help
Sounds buggy, I had an issue a few times where it took a LONG time for the screen to light up/unlock when I had Always On on. Others said this could happen if it stayed in your pocket a long time.
Eventually I turned off Always On, mostly because for me the battery drain was quite noticeable. With it off the battery feels totally fine, with it on it's kinda like, wow, why am I down to half already?

Question Ghosting resurfaced

There was a ghosting issue of screen for a while, when the phone launched. A quick update fixed it.
Ghosting has came back. Its not as bad as last time, but if you use gestures, you will notice.
My right, slightly below the midway of the screen, around the size of a thumb, screen is unresponsive. Restarted, works for few minutes and ghosting again.
Will ever miui not be a pain?
