Hi,
Is is possible to have various dispositives connected to the same watch and have alerts on the watch ?
Like 2 phones and a tablet for example.
Cheers,
Orlando
No, only the inverse.

The inverse of what ?
Then only one device ?
Inverse of what? Really? What is the inverse of "two devices and one watch"?

Initial question:
Is is possible to have various dispositives connected to the same watch and have alerts on the watch ?
Like 2 phones and a tablet for example.
What is the inverse of these two sentences ?
I understand that "your inverse" which is not for my initial question is one device on two watches.
Just be clear on answering questions and you will see that people will not appear as much stupid as you think!
Yeah, i have just simplified it and you still cannot get it... Ask any person with a brain:

What I don't understand if that if you don't want to give constructive answers why do you answer ?
The fact that you mean that I don't have brain is hurtful.
For your information I gave your answer and initial post to 2 friends of mine (probably without brain) and they did not understand your answer as well.

-> One dispositive (phone or tablet) to various watches.
If still not correct please be aware that your brain might be damaged...

From an italian forum, I've readed about a big bug in calculator default app!
Try 91.8 - 82.4, the result is 9.39999999999. How long the result of a subtraction is a periodic number?
And try 5 / 0... shocking
This app is on every android phone?

Division by zero is not allowed, so i think that this endless-symbol is an easteregg or sth. like that.

yea, same *removed* like subtraction
the infinity sign (when dividing by zero) makes sense, but the subtraction thing is really spooky...
Lol! nice discovery, and I thought Android Phones are supposed to be "smart-phones."

Exactly ∞
Interesting discovery.
Now when I subtract, I'll have to approximate the result. XD

Maybe is Android smrates-phone ever!! It probably have in mind "statistical discrepancy".
The divide by zero bug is actually there for your own protection. If it went through with that division the universe might have imploded. Possibly. No one knows for shure, but we don`t want to find out either... Do we?
Hello everyone, a friend of mine got a phone that really looks like a galaxy note, it comes with some kind of software that is pretty much limited.
Anything useful to do with these devices?
I have attached some pics

Where did he bought it from? If your friend isn't happy with the device you should call the company and ask for a refund.

He can't refund it because he bought it from a guy selling it on the streets (think he was fooled! and he thinks the same!)
Is something out there that can help him at least flash the phone or anything else?
Thanks
If there's no reference to Android, or if there aren't any Android-specific settings on it, chances are that it might be one of them MAUI/Cosmos UI systems that come with certain Mediatek chipsets.

What does that mean ?
Basicly he doesn't have any options like he has on his HTC @ Cyanogen. I'm talking about he doesn't have USB preferences, Wi-Fi settings, recovery mode, download mode, etc..
And being MAUI/Cosmos UI systems means what?
And in some application preferences when he press settings his MRE version is 2.3.0, i don't know if this helps or not but I would like to help him.
When he first look at the phone the sticker said it was Wi-Fi certified, and had android technology, but it's just a sticker...
I'm really sad for him!
Check about phone in settings.
Sent from the zombie world. No they aren't coming yet!

If it has a different OS then it's impossible to flash Android firmware on that 'phone'.

But is there a way he can go so he can see what's the OS it has installed and a way to change it ?
Thanks

There's no phone software/firmware/wtv a normal android has in options :S
a Co-worker just handed me this same exact phone and asked me what I think, I told him i hope he didn't pay for it and he looked at me a bit sheepish. He paid 250 off of some guy selling it in the street. So I in turn came here to see if anything could be done via flashing. I guess its a no-go!
but anywho, this thing is so crazy they even mimiced some apps like Plants VS Zombie, fruit slash, and angry birds. it seems as if its running on java platform. its like a 10 year old device/specs.
:silly:
Hello guys,
I was wondering if there's an app which can record WhatsApp calls 'cause I've been searching for it on the internet but couldn't find a solution.
It would be great if you take some time out to reply me on this.

Yup. Moderator just moved the thread.
You can probably just use a screen recorder to record those calls, this is the first one I found after some googling. Havn't tried it out myself though.
Edit: AFAIK in some countries it's illegal to record calls without the other person being ok with it, so you might want to check your local laws before using it

What he said. The laws also differ from state. So you have to be aware of each and every law in the area that the person you are talking to is in other wise you could face legal issues.

I live in Pakistan and there's no such law I'm aware of. Even if it is, nobody cares here. ?

You really aren’t going to find anything on XDA to help you out, but there is a big market for parents that need this type of stuff. Huff post has a good article that you may find useful.

Should xda be condoning illegal behavior? Not sure where my post went mentioning that it is illegal in many places.
OK so it seems it is a state thing and depending on the program, it covers 12 states in the US where it would be illegal.

It's not illegal for your child as long as they are under 18.

That depends on the state. The state I just lived in made it illegal for all kids over 16 as that is when they can leave home. You also have to tell them its on there. Also any of the programs that are used to record calls are flat out illegal on a childs devices due to the laws about recording phone calls and both parties having to know about it.
But to each their own. Anyone that feels they need to spy on their kids has already lost them.

Not to my knowledge. Calls are received based on your SIM, not based on your phones' ID, AFAIK.

I didn't know that iPhones have this feature. To my knowledge, Android phones don't have it and I am not aware of any apps that can bring on this feature on Android. Sorry.
