hi i updated to the latest firmware earlier and since then the copy paste function crashes in any app, anyone else have this.
What firmware version are you running? I have no updates pending and I'm also not having any copy/paste issues.
What version and with which network?
Also are you rooting or running a custom rom?

Hi im not rooted, it was bought from carphone warehouse and is sim unlocked, running I9300xxalf2
Download Odin and the latest firmware, flash it and see if it fixes your problem.

Did this resolve the problem?
Did a factory reset work?
I'm also having issues with cut/copy/paste. It just force closes the app, no matter what app I use it in.
Running stock XXALE8 on O2 in UK, rooted with CF-Root v6.2.
Edit: Factory reset cured it for me too. Hopefully it stays fixed!
Hi yes it cured it for me
Hi everyone,
I also had this problem, I found a solution without do a factory reset.
The app in question is TestService.
First you have to clean the directory /data/clipboard, delete everything in it with root explorer. After that, go to manage applications and find the app TestService, uninstall the updates.
After a reboot, copy/paste should work again.
What does uninstall the updates means? Clear data or uninstall? How do you install it back?
Hi
I have the same problem.
Stock version no root I9300XXLF2
any other solution without do a factory reset?
I'm not root.
Thanks

Brilliant!!! Worked like a charm!!!
Anyone know a way of fixing this without factory resetting when you're not rooted?
Really annoying!! I've already flashed the latest O2 firmware and the latest unbranded firmware, and both had the same problem.
Thanks.
Just noticed this happen myself because I updated the App called Clipper that I use but forgot to start it and I copied some text and wasn't saved in the clipboard, but because Clipper replaces the clipboard I would have never noticed.

I just installed Clipper and it didn't fix it, so I don't think it replaces the clipboard, just integrates with it.

Hi everyone,
I have been looking at this forum for sometime without signing up amazing developers and ideas here.
I just have a quick question I am a data privacy freek and I basically have an android tablet that I want to wipe it clean completely so it won't even turn on just to nothing.
Then I want to install a fresh version of android again.
If you know of any guides that will help me out please post them so I don't take up much of your time. Even if someone could just write me a small tutorial?
It will be much appreciated,
Kind regards,
David

Hi there,
Well I won't back up from a challenge,
anyways there is a way but it requires alot of steps
doing a full system erase wont delete the apps however you can root the tablet so you can remove the app permanently. The apps you talk about are system apps which are impossible to remove without rooting your tablet. If your okay with ANDROID ROOTING HERE ARE THE STEPS;
1. SINCE YOU'RE USING AN UNKNOWN BRAND YOU CAN ROOT YOUR TABLET VIA KINGO ROOT
HERE IS THE LINK: https://www.kingoapp.com/
2. REMEMBER TO TURN OFF FIREWALL AND ANTIVIRUS
3. AFTER DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING FOLLOW THE ON SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS.
4. AFTER SUCCESSFULLY ROOTING YOUR DEVICE YOU MAY PROCEED TO GOOGLE PLAY AND DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL TITANIUM BACKUP AND RESTORE
5. AFTER INSTALLING THAT OPEN THE APP
6. OR IF YOU WANT YOU CAN INSTALL ANY SYSTEM APP REMOVER APP FROM GOOGLE PLAY ITSELF
7. BUT I RECOMMEND THE TITANIUM IT HAS MORE FEATURES AND MAYBE IT MIGHT BE HARD FOR YOU BUT STILL TRY THE APP OUT
THERE YOU GO ALL THE UNWANTED APPS ARE GONE NOW HOWEVER IF YOU USED TITANIUM APP THERE IS AN OPTION TO REMOVE THE APP PERMANENTLY SO WHEN YOU ERASE THE TABLET NEXT TIME THE UNWANTED APPS WON'T BE THERE

Hi all,
Anyone else having permission issues with certain apps?
For example, Sync for Reddit would fail to load certain videos giving a cache error. Turns out you have to manually create the folders and set the permissions.
https://www.reddit.com/r/redditsync/comments/nbvekb/_/idjjqfu
I also have issues installing extensions for Tachiyomi. The extension apk would download but I can't install it in the app. However, I can install it by navigating to /sdcard/Android/eu.kanade.tachiyomi/files/Download and installing the apk.
I have the RMX3300 Chinese model flashed to the global ROM with Magisk. I've updated to the latest global version (RMX3301_11_A.16)

You can try using the PhoneRescue for Android PC software once! The steps are straight forward and if you want, I can still guide you through it, and how to remove all the softwares shortcuts and app data after your work is done.
ok let me try bro

I'm not sure cuz if you root the phone, you'll need to use magiskhide, then pass safetynet, then clear storage and cache of the app, and then try, risk of losing current app data is also there.
But I've read few android deleted files recovery tool that use root, but it's all their own promotion, so idk, depends on you.
I'd say we will fall even deeper rooting it rn ngl.
