New Wear OS with Tiles (2019) - Moto 360 2015

Did someone receive the new update?

lmao. really? This is a decade old technology. I'm lucky the watch even charges.

I had tiles for about 2 weeks, I switched roms so had to wipe the watch and it has not come back yet

I stand corrected. Tiles are here for the Moto Sport. I think Google rolled it out last night for everyone. Reddit seems to be confirming that across all watches.

In which countries have u received it already?

Not a thing. They were just there one day. I mean I update all my Google apps on the watch but that's it.

Got it too a few days ago.
First noticed the update at play store and then found the tiles at the watch. So the app update is totally connected to the watch update.
Truth is that is not anything interesting for me, as it's closely focused on fit menus, which I don't use and even the news tile seems to be useless, as I can't find to change the country of news.

This update made my moto 360 unusable. It's so so so slow... You can't imagine. I can't touch the screen half of the times. Any one having the same problem?

First thing I tried, nothing seems to work. Even deactivated all tiles and no luck. It's so slow I can't even use it.

Has anyone noticed a major drop in battery life? Is it possible that the watch has just hit end of life? Off charger for 2 hours and down to 61% already. Any suggestions? Has anyone had this and a reset fixed it?

There is bigger consumption but not so bad.
Before this update I could go through 2 days with a single charge. Now I need to charge it every day

I'm not sure what to do then. Factory reset is my only option at this point. What a pain.
Edit.. reset done. Now I'll see what's up.

No difference on factory reset. Down to 61% in 2 hours. Screen 2% Idle 2% in Wear OS stats. Not sure what happened. I use Pujie Black for watchface so I might try to delete that app. After that I have no idea what to do. Replace the battery possible?

[Q] From 100% to 46% in 30 minutes?

Hello all,
This morning, I woke up at 6, as usual, for work. I removed my phone from the charger around 6:30. It was at 100%. I turned off WiFi and put the phone in my pocket. Got in the car and went to work. I look at my phone when I get to work and it's at 46%. I didn't use it for anything in the 15 minutes it takes to get to work. I actually didn't even turn the screen on until I sat down at my desk at 7:00.
Any idea what would cause this? On normal standby with average use yesterday, it didn't get to 46% until 7 pm last night.
I have attached screens. Thanks for all of your help.

this problem is cause by 4G LTE, i read some of it somewhere. just do a search here in XDA and you'll find some fixes about your problem

As far as I know, T-Mobile doesn't have 4G LTE in my area. I appreciate the reply, though.
oh yeah not LTE but still a 4G signal.
and the top of the list is Cell Standby, as far as I know that is your Mobile Signal/Data battery drain

read about "Fast Dormancy".
If your carrier don't support it, you need to disable it because it will drain your battery in standby mode.
here's one thread about Fast Dormancy -> LINK
---------- Post added at 11:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:19 PM ----------
also you need to plug/unplug charger (just a quick one) for the BBS to make a reference.
Also, zero widgets on my home screens. Factory reset on Tuesday night. It was great yesterday (Wednesday). Just got the phone last Friday after having 6 G2x's and an Exhibit 4G (after getting the run around from Tmo about the awful G2x).

People said that's because of the 4G. Looks a bit stupid to use so much battery in so mess time. You should still check BBS later. As I see in your screens, the phone had no time to collect enough data. Leave the app started during 1-2 hours and check it after. If possible, don't use the phone during this time. Btw, welcome to xda and a pleasure to try help you.

Exactly, you need to leave it few hours in the same way you left it when spent all the battery.
The differences between the S3 I9300 and SGH-T999 are that your phone is dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon with 2 gigs of RAM while our phone (GT-I9300) is quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos 4412 Quad with 1 gigs of RAM and the firmware isn't compatible one with the other. You can see the diference here: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4804&idPhone2=4238

[Q] Having phone issues

Hello people, I have a rooted s3 running super nexus ROM. I decided to charge my phone last night at 83%. This morning when I check, I still had 83%. I have changed all my chargers and cables(charger and cables are original) before this happened but unfortunately I still can't charge. I don't know if its my Hardware or software problem. Anyone else have the same problem as me?

Does he have an extended battery? No way this phone lasts for 9 days unless he uses it 5 minutes a day or something.
I made my return to T-Mobile and got the S5. Black 16 GB, but smaller than my Note 3 capacity, but still a good phone. Going to pick it up tomorrow after a system issue that wouldn't let me pay .

Battery Drain Issues

Sometimes when I charge to 100% and unplug my VS990 gets hot and drains the battery VERY quickly. I Check the battery usage and I see the graph with a drop that looks similar to King Da Kah and it will tell me that I have 3 hours left. If I pull the battery and reboot (sometimes 3 or 4 times) it will show a more normal representation of the battery drain and tell me I'll have 10 hours or more.
I firmly believe this is because LG has NOT updated to 6.0.1 even though it was available 4 months prior to updating to Marshmallow. Now we are 9 months after 6.0.1 was released and no update.
I literally just went through a factory reset and still the same farm thing.
Is anyone else frustrated with this phone as I am? I keep a charger and a second battery with me all the time. None of these issues in Lollipop and LG and VZW have yet to fix the phone with 6.0.1.
Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
I have zero issues with battery drain. My phone lasts all day with moderate usage. You might have a hardware issue or app draining the battery. Have you reflashed marshmallow with LGUP starting fresh.
I have not done that. That will be the next step. I hate having to set up all over again.
Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
This is what happens after a full charge.
That first screenshot is really weird. Everything looks good for the first hour or so...then bam.
Happens with both batteries I assume? Did you try pulling out some of the apps or their updates? Then reloading them? Saw that somewhere.
Sent from my VS990 using XDA Labs
I have certain apps that I must have. But I have factory reset the device. Today is not so bad. I'm chalking this up to not having 6.0.1.
Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
Yep! A reflash will help. My extended battery gets me through a day, but never with a standard battery. I have to constantly charge on a standard battery. I am sure it is due to the apps installed which is why it varies from one person to the next. I would also remove all un-used apps to keep all the background activity to a minimum.

I have not noticed much difference on Marshmallow, unfortunately. Don't defer the update for battery reasons. Defer if you want possibility of root, but otherwise, Marshmallow has been just fine for me.
How do I re-flash? I'm not rooted and when I plug into the LG update software my phone appears and when I click it I get no option to Repair the software.
