is it possible to install a miui mtz theme file on Los, RR etc etc?
I'd really like to have this theme, or at least try and see if it's working - or am I barking up the wrong tree because miui is so far from stock android...
thanks
Or is there anyway to convert the theme to suit my system (resurrection remix)

I was wondering if I could install a ROM or theme over CM7? I would really prefer to install the Dark Fire Blue theme yet keep the functions of CM7. Will it work out or will I need some other ROM instead of CM7?

themes are only compatable with the build that they are based on,
eg. CM7, ATT 4.9.1
so the answer is no you would need to install a whole new rom
Is there any way for me to create a flashable zip perhaps, or anything which will change the default icons ?
I have the stock GB icons and i want the Faenza icons but i use the xperia s launcher, which does not support themes.
Which rom are you using now?(It may be lot more easy to answer if you let me know )
If you use CM7 or CM9 you can change icons through theme chooser-
In this case what you need to do is just build up APK that includes your icon pack.
For MIUI it's much easier to changes icons. Search for MIUI theme building on MIUI theme forums or here on XDA MIUI threads.
If you're using neither of above ROMs(like GingerBlur...based on Blur ROMs) it'd be bit more difficult-
There's two types of ROMs
-Deodexed ROMs are easy to change icons through CMW flash
-Odexed ROMs are hard to do it. You've got to deodex it beforehand
Some ROMs like Nottachtrix supports some themes so if you work on theme you should be able to do what you want.

thanks but i have no clue about building apk's or themeing...im using CM7 and i want to change some specific icons
Hi, I feel a little stupid because I wanted to get Theme Chooser, like in Cyanogen Mod, but in a stock based rom (Real ICS).
So... I tried flashing with this MOD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050462 But I did'n read all the post and I discover that It's not compatible with stock roms... Now I can't change a theme because the rom says me "No applications can perform this action." I did't do a backup before so I don't want to flash again my rom, any solution to this? is possible to get Theme Chooser to a custom room?
You have to flash a stock rom using flash tool, there's no other way.
Every CM-based custom rom includes the Theme Chooser, so you have to use another rom.

Well if it is not another solution I will flash -.- So... I tried CM before and my device have a little issues of compatibility (There is not a official rom for my smartphone) and I like so much Real ICS rom, but the theme is a little disgusting for me, really doesn't exists a change to install Theme Chooser?
Hey folks, I'm flashing a new ROM on my buddies S5 tomorrow. He's going from an original release of OMEGA, to the latest Alliance.
But I'd really like to find him a touch wiz ROM that has an AOSP UI like the one in my signature has for the Note 3.
You can use AOSP xposed mods on it, like GravityBox. And some of his favorite theming options depend on AOSP.
But as we all know, the real AOSP ROM's aren't doing so well yet.
I'm not asking for the best ROM, so please don't close the thread.
But since I don't have an S5 and can't go flashing willy-nilly, I do need help in the form of some pointers to a few ROM's that have AOSP UI options. Thanks!

As far as I know, there aren't any roms that have the AOSP theme.

Not theme though, UI. Those are two very different things.

Oh...you mean the actual framework and system ui from aosp roms. Yeah, that's a definite no. I thought you just meant a themed rom that was made to look like stock android.
Hello and an apology for my bad english
Anyone know how to put the Google pixel theme or colors for the rom OOs 3.1.4
And I tried the rom modded os and I did not like it since it is very edited and I look for something more stock in the official rom as only color change
Thanks
Just download the apk's of pixel launcher & pixel wallpaper app and install it. This is the most you can do right now in your stock ROM. If you are thinking to change the whole UI like pixel that cant be possible in stock ROM. For that you need to install a custom ROM with theme engine support like Substratum/CMTE.
